hello! just wanted to do a quick post re: lgbtstoriesweek. I’ve loved doing it for the past two years, but it just isn’t feasible this year. this summer is going to be one of me recovering mentally and physically, and I don’t think I can juggle that along with keeping the week running. it’s a fun and good stress, but still a stress that I don’t think I can handle at this time.

I typically do the week the last week of june, so there is still some time to figure things out. here some options to ponder if you want to see more content for lgbtstoriesweek.

1) the old posts are still there. here’s the one from 2019 and the one from 2020. please feel free to utilize the prompts (some, all, however many you want) and watch/create things related to lgbt stories that inspire you! you can mix it up or do it in whatever order. if you put it in the tag, I’ll see it and reblog it here so it’s all in one place. if you want to do a full week, again I usually hold it the last week of june.

2) if someone would like to take over the week, please feel free to reach out. it can be a bit of work, but it’s honestly really rewarding and fun. if I had the time and energy I would absolutely do it.

I think that’s all I have at the moment, but feel free to respond with any questions or comments you have. I’ve always wanted this week to be a collaborative effort, so any input is welcome.
