In todays episode of calling out fake feminists coming for Rachel Smythe.

We have got some "feminists" that claim that Rachel has made Persephone's boobs big and making her wear revealing clothes to over sexualize her.

First of all, I'd like them to answer me that where is there feminism gone when anime creators make almost every female character with big boobs,big butt and revealing clothes? Where is your feminism when almost all the male characters behave pervertly with a female character? Touching their boobs and what not. Why do you simp on those male character instead of calling them out?

Second of all, Rachel has made other female characters with slim body figure too. Like hecate, minthe, artemis, psyche etc. And she has also made characters that are thick like Hestia. Then there are others that have curvy figure just like Persephone like Aphrodite, Hera, daphne, Demeter etc. So what is these feminists' problem? What do u want her to make Persephone a fucking Nun?!

Third of all, feminism preaches that women can wear whatever they want. That they should be comfortable in embracing and expressing their sexuality through wearing whatever thry want. Then why are u calling out Rachel for portraying it in her. Y'all dont call out Gigi and Bella Hadid, Kardashians, Kendall, Kylie, cardi, Nicki Minaj, cars Delevinge when they post nude pics on their insta or wear revealing clothes that shows there boobs and butt. Or when rihanna wears only a see through gown that shows her nipples to an award ceremony. How can y'all call Rachel out when Y'all set these strandards for women and encouraged it? We women really need to ask ourselves that these women, do they really care about feminism or are they just using it to make themselves and their opinion and looks relevant.

When woken do ut in real life that's empowering feminism. But when it's portrayed by a woman in her comic you got a problem.

Now lemme hit these fake feminist bitches with some straight facts.

1. Different bras make your boobs look different. But y'all wouldn't know this because maybe y'all don't have boobs. And that's why you are mad and hating on Rachel's character. Which is just y'all reflecting your insecurities onto a fucking character.

2. The type of clothes you wear really makes a difference in the way your body looks. Persephone wears more midlength skirts and dresses which makes her figure prominent.

3. Rachel has a more inconsistent art style. Which is evident from how many characters look a little different every few episodes. Hades for example looked very different a few episodes ago.

4. She jumped a 10 years time line which means their would be significant changes in every character's body.

5. Persephone is curvier but so are hestia, Hera, Posiden's wife, daphne and Aphrotite.

6. You are just mad that Rachel is thriving and her comic has been selected for a netflix animation adaption.

7. I'm no feminist cause that shit is just double standards so don't y'all come at me with how can you say that about feminism.

8. Don't come at me unless you got a logical answers to the questions I have asked above.

9. The dumbest thing is how they are calling out the comic for all the gods wanting to have sex with her. Like girl didn't you read the greek mythology. Most of these gods are man whores. That is literally their character. So yeah thry are gonna hit on literally all the goddesses. And Why would Rachel change it to make them a look more respectful when they are not. That's who they are. That's their ugly truth and why would she hide it. That's exactly what most of those gods use to think when they saw a goddess. The greek mythology is literally 90% of the time just Zeus hoeing around.

10. In the real mythology as well Kore was considered a very desirable goddess. And all the gods were trying to woo her. Even Apollo.

LO Fandom: Why are people defending Demeter? Demeter is a helicopter mom, too controlling, and put too many expectations on Persephone - she even once called her an ungrateful brat!

True, but consider that Demeter -

Had to fight a war to put Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades on the throne only to be disrespected and used by all three.

Zeus devours (pretty much kills) her mother, and mistreats her sister Hera to the point where Hera has self-esteem issues.

Her sisters Hera and Hestia pretty much abandoned her, and Hera went behind Demeter's back to pair up Persephone with Hades.

Wanted to protect her daughter from also being used for her fertility powers, only for her daughter to end up being targeted by both Khronos and Apollo, justifying her worries.

Defended and stood by her daughter to the point where it caused her to lose her powers and live as a mortal for ten years, only for Persephone to practically forget about her.

Gave her daughter an earthly paradise surrounded by friends, family, and privilege, only for said daughter to act like she was in some kind of prison because the Nymphs and mortals were apparently unworthy of her romance and friendship.

Was shunned by Artemis and Daphne for her concerns after she had just gone through these ten years as a mortal, alone.

Was denied being Queen of the Mortal realm and was unfairly insulted by Hades.

Thus, if Smythe really wanted me to hate Demeter, or view her as a 'sympathetic antagonist', she was doing a very bad job at it. Demeter is the true heroine of LO, and I want her to go apeshit on everyone.

RS Retcons Minthe's BPD

Warning: This is more of a rant since I find this to be ridiculous.

So guys, RS did it. As the title states, she really retconned Minthe having BPD.

I'm not going to shoot the messenger but does RS not know how BPD works? You can't just write her with BPD and then act as though it's perfectly fine to state it's 'no longer canon'. You also can't move away from something that was still a part of her as a character.

And what is Minthe going through in that episode? Splitting.

It was one thing to retcon Apollo and Zeus being related as it was never brought up in the story. However, RS brought BPD into this story and is now claiming it's not canon anymore? Especially after it's tied to one of the biggest moments in LO??

I originally wanted to give RS the benefit of the doubt but with this information, I now believe she was just using BPD and its symptoms to make an abuser.

BPD already gets a bad reputation because of people associating BPD to abuse, especially when media often give abusers this disorder.

Not only did RS contribute to this but her retconing it makes me believe she wanted an out for giving Minthe this disorder which is pretty shady in my opinion. Especially if you're not going to clarify this publicly and instead have your mod rely this important information to a server.
