Last book I read: Shit, probably something for class. Punch Drunk Mustache Round 2, most likely? that's a concept art collection i highly recommend. if it has to be a ~real~ book, probably On Film Editing by Edward Dmytryk, a very interesting book albeit rather outdated these days

Last movie seen: Paprika, a very strange 2006 anime movie that has absolutely set my brain sideways. what the fuck. 10/10 do recommend if you want to feel your brain melt out of your ears.

Last tv series seen: ah fuck. Probably Sonic Prime? I haven't watched a series since I was visiting my parents last year

Last thing googled: "the heroine story" as my professor was struggling to remember what Maureen Murdock's Heroine Journey was called during class lol

Last thing eaten: a singular slice of cheese pizza and a cookie. but i'm about to have real food now i swear

Sweet/savory/spicy: of the three i guess i'd choose sweet but i'm more of a Bitter guy overall

Amount slept: Oh brother who knows. 6 hours? 8 hours? i've been having very fragmented sleep lately. I think I went to bed at 3am? probably 8 hours.

currently reading: rereading a book i got in yellowstone years ago about a bunch of experiences people had in the late 1800's-early 1900's when it was still being explored. it's really interesting and some of it is kinda horrifying.

This is something I'm seeing more and more on AO3 that I'd never seen when I first got into fandom stuff, so I wanted to find out how you all feel about it.

What are your thoughts about seeing posted fanfiction that isn't commissioned, where the creator says that they have never read/watched the source material? For example, someone putting out a fanfic for a show they've never watched that includes the tag Author Has Never Seen Suchandsuch.
