Caring for your Pokemon: Stufful/Bewear
Stufful and Bewear, the name for the latter certainly lives up to it as being nearby these Pokemon is a dangerous thing to do. While cute and cuddly looking, they are strong and they do not hestitate to destroy anything in it's path if it is angry enough, and with the short temper that Bewear has sometimes, be very careful around it. I have studied Bewear in the wild for a long time, and it is impossible to do. They somehow are able to sense any danger around them and immediately can be upon you in a second. If Gregory wasn't with me when studying them, I would be a goner four times over. My only advice for these Pokemon is that you must tread lightly around them and treat them with the utmost respect and eventually they'll become your friend. Until then, don't be alone with this Pokemon unless you plan on enjoying a dirt nap. My best bet would be Conkeldurr or an Alakazam, take advantage of weaknesses. While a strong bond is possible, maybe a lesser strong bond so you don't get broken.

Caring for your Pokemon: Emboar Line
The heaviest of the starters but still a powerhouse of terror, Emboar! This line may seem lame to most people compared to the other fighting types and the other Unovian starters but that is a reckless opinion of people. Emboar are loyal and big buddies to their trainers and fellow Pokemon. They are big softies and can handle multiple age groups compared to other starters. I would say out of all the different starters, if you're trying to start your child on a specific Pokemon, I would go with Tepig. Tepig are very hungry Pokemon, sometimes having an appetite that rivals a Munchlax, but love to roast. Make sure that they control their flames, otherwise you'll have a lot of burnt food in your future.
Pignite have a much larger appetite, and they use the fuel it consumes to become fuel for the fire it has and become faster and stronger. Giving a Pignite a lot of food is vitally important to make sure that they have energy to burn. Thankfully a Pignite will eat literally anything it will get it's hands on. I have seen a Pignite consume melted metal, wood, and plastic, just because they were curious of the taste. Don't let them to this often. While a Pignite's digestive system can consume and digest it, doesn't mean it's going to go down well. Feed them vegetables and fruits mostly, as that helps their diet more.
When dealing with an Emboar, make sure that you have plenty of food and drink on hand so they have something to burn within their body. With how reckless and strong these Pokemon are, the more food is better. My best recommendation for a Pokemon to have on hand would be a Tropius, as they would have a small supply of food that can help out in those tough times or a Alolan Rattata to help out with finding fresh food. Otherwise, these Pokemon are wonderful around tinier children and can be a wonderful partner in battle.

Caring for your Pokemon: Ralts Line
Ah the Ralts line, a group of Pokemon that are one of the fewer Pokemon that are more difficult to study than others. Ralts are great at sensing the emotions of those around it, so if you get anywhere close to it without being emotionless, you'll be sensed from a mile away and they'll freak out and run away or teleport. Very difficult to study in that case unless you get the drop on them. However since they enjoy positive emotions, they will attempt to focus on those positive emotions and not notice anything around them as much, so if you're trying to catch a Ralts easily, best be thinking happy thoughts.
Kirlia are even more joyous when sensing positive emotions, and enjoy being around their trainers even more, and will do a lot in it's power to make sure that it's trainer is happy. Please make sure that they understand that happiness is not the go to emotion constantly, otherwise you'll run into some future exhaustion problems (trust me from experience).
Now Gardevoir, are very protective and will do anything in it's power to protect it's trainer, but they are also curious Pokemon like their previous generations and will sometimes get into mischief if not kept a close eye on in the first few years. DO NOT LET THEM GO ONTO THE INTERNET WITHOUT A LONG TALK, TRUST ME.
Now Gallade are the opposite. They are not as curious and focus more on the protection part more than anything, and can often become jealous of others that get close to it's trainer, so make sure that they're not getting into fights when you're not looking.
This line is very protective and curious, but can be protective as well. Sometimes get a little clingy and jealous but a great companion on your travels. Honestly this is one Pokemon that might not need extra assistance and other Pokemon, but I would go with something unpredictable as a good combatant, such as Combusken, or Psyduck. May not seem predictable but can be a surprise.

Caring for your Pokemon: Infernape Line
Our second starter that we will be going over, the king of the monkey pokemon himself, Infernape (and the pre evolutions). Being the fastest fighting type starter of it's group, it has a ton of energy and often needs to burn it fast (pun intended). Chimchar will often be bouncing around and getting into fights that it should not be getting into, but with discipline and training, a Chimchar can focus it's energies on it's fights and become powerful. As for Monferno, with a tail it incorporates it's attacks using it, so make sure that their tail is strong and burns bright. While they are not carrying a tool of any sort, they do know how to use tools and can use them in battles if need be. Sticks and rocks are it's preferred weapon of choice, but with training it can learn a variety of object use, including items such as Sirfetch'd's leek sword, or Gurdurr's steel beam. Now Infernape, is able to use all of it's limbs and become an absolute menace in combat. They prefer to go all out instead of going with a status strategy. Making sure that energy goes somewhere is vitally important, so keep it with other high energy Pokemon, such as Amped form Toxtricity, or Vigiroth. But another option is other monkey Pokemon, such as Ambipom, Passimian, or Darmanitan.
Sometimes, you just gotta go with the monkey in ya, and Infernape is the monkey to be.

Caring for your Pokemon: Passimian/Oranguru
Now ususally I focus on fighting types primarily but since these two are a bit of a duo, I thought I might as well talk about them together!
Oranguru, one of the more intelligent Pokemon out there, makes it raise questions about who truly is the smartest Pokemon? Would it be Alakazam who has an IQ of 5000? Or Metagross who has four brains? Perhaps, but can they instruct another Pokemon to perform a move? Can they actually throw a Pokeball? Can they communicate in an entirely different language, like perhaps, human? (Am I bias because Sean? Perhaps, but I digress). Ahem, anyway. Oranguru are mostly solidarity creatures, so don't expect them to be all trustworthy and willing to listen. It takes a certain amount of trust and in some cases, higher intellect to train an Oranguru. Once they come to think of you as their trainer, they will be more willing and could even help train other Pokemon if need be.
Now Passimian on the other hand are very social Pokemon, often being in groups of 20 with each having a different role, so a Passimian in a group of 6 will develop some slight change issues. Making sure everyone has a part to play and to reassure your Passimian that 6 is not the end of the world. They might attempt to throw berries at you if you don't do a very good job though (trust me, I have experience in that). If you keep training your Passimian in a smaller group, they will get used to it and be a great part to your team.
My recommendations for Pokemon to assist, for Oranguru some higher intellect Pokemon, such as Dragonite, Metagross, or Slowking! However if you put a Pokemon that is slightly less intelligent, it could develop a bond with them, but it is a risky move to play. Best bet is a Slowpoke, so in case of emergencies you can evolve them into a Slowking if need be. As for Passimian, very teamwork Pokemon, so Krokorok, Tauros (any version), or Luxio work.

Caring for your Pokemon: Crabrawler/Crabomiable
A puzzling Pokemon to say the least, Crabrawler and it's evolution, Crabomiable certainly show that evolution can happen in the most dire of needs, when Crabrawler's are lost in the mountains. Does this mean that we can have alternate evolutions if Crabrawler gets lost in other places? Or what about just being in other environments and training? Much like other Pokemon with specific ways to evolve, I have studied and experimented in trying to evolve them in other ways, but have had difficulties in finding new evolutions.
Anyway, care for Crabrawler, they love fighting, so keeping them in constant battles where they can fight to their hearts content is a great idea. If their pinchers fall off, don't worry, they will grow back quickly (give it about a day max). Make sure to keep them in good spirits, otherwise they'll wander off and get into trouble.
Now as for Crabomiable, because of the new ice type, they have to work with a lot more issues when not in the mountains. They won't melt, but their fur certainly must be kept cool in order for them to not faint from exhaustion. The best thing to do is to have another Pokemon who knows another ice move in order to keep Crabomiable cool, so there isn't any issues after battles. While battles are important in keeping a Crabomiable in proper strength, making sure they don't overheat is a bigger problem. My personal recommendations for other Pokemon to help would be Araquanid, Alolan Ninetales, but make sure to avoid Exeggcutor for obvious reasons.

Caring for your Pokemon: Pancham/Pangoro
Ah the Pan line, such a fun Pokemon to research. While Pancham does not start out a dark type, it does have a lot of behavior similar to it's evolution, being punkish and trying to be intimidating, though often failing. Because wild Pancham often grow up following Pangoro around, they would grow up and evolve to imitating it's evolution. A Pancham who was hatched by a trainer is more docile, yet still has a bit of it's behavior. I have studied the possibility of a Pancham getting a different evolution by being around other types, including another fighting type (Thanks to Gregory) but nothing seemed to have triggered a different evolution method, but the behavior and fighting style certainly does change a bit if being taught by other fighting types. As for Pangoro, even though they look intimidating and brutish, they are still kind if need be and able to help others if need be. A trainer who owns a Pangoro will need to be able to put a few punches in, as they do "communicate with their fists" often. Pokemon that are good to train with this line will be a majority of Dark types. An Absol or Umbreon is good for trying to give them a bit of a calmer temperament, while a Crawdaunt or a Malamar will cause them to be a bit fiercer upon evolving. Do not use Obstagoon unless you want fights happening constantly upon outside the Pokeball.
A wonderful Pokemon to study, I hope one day I can discover an alternate evolution for Pancham to be able to study the possibility of other evolution methods within Pokemon.

Caring for your Pokemon: Conkeldurr line
The Conkeldurr line has a lot of fascinating qualities that other fighting types do not have. They're one of the few Pokemon that use tools as part of their fighting style, showing that the fist does not stop at just the end of the arm, being able to swing their items around as a way to battle. With that, they take deep care in their respected items, making sure that they are kept in well care when not in battle. However unlike Pokemon such as Sirfetch'd, if their item is destroyed or broken, replacing it is easier as it results in just finding the right item. Granted if you are in a more dense populated area, and your Gurdurr needs a new steel beam, make sure to find one that is not being used by a building, as the Gurdurr will use the first steel beam it finds. This extends to the other evolutions, and is important in care for the line. If you are looking for a sparring partner or someone to assist in training, a Marowak or a Tinkatuff will be helpful as they are able to use tools as well.
The "Urr" line as I call them, are a powerful Pokemon on any team and a reliable ally. If you help them out, they will be a friend for life.

Four months to be exact, and before that, even longer. Think it's been about a year and a half, if not more that I've paid attention to this blog fully. There was a lot of things that happened in my actual life including getting fired from my job, getting into a car crash, getting into massive debt, getting removed from my old apartment, and that's just a few of the things that happened in my actual life. But things are turning for the better and hopefully it will be bettter. I wi ll pay attention to this blog again and I do apologize to everyone for me being inactive for so long. Hopefully you all are excited to come back as I am
Thank you all,

Will you ever do a caring for your pokemon involving legendaries or mythicals
Short answer, no. Longer answer, very few people actually have legendaries and mythicals as they are difficult to catch. I was lucky enough to catch some of them but I had to spend days trying to find and catch, or prove myself to the Pokemon. This will also be why there won't be any posts involving caring for Hisuian Pokemon or Paradox Pokemon, as those are Pokemon pulled out from time. If people do want me to, I can, but it will be difficult.
Admin: Note, I subscribe to the theory that there are multiple legendaries, so keep your pants on.

What's your least favorite fighting type Pokemon and why?
I don't have a least favorite fighting Pokemon, they are all absolutely amazing. I will say the most difficult ones to research are Crabominable as they spend their times in the mountains where it's very cold and hard to keep expensive equipment up there.
Admin: I don't like Flamigo, I know I'm sounding like a genwunner right now but it's just a flamingo with the N taken out, and the design feels lazy. Will I still use it like every other one? Yes, but doesn't mean it's not slightly annoying to me.
Oh and before Flamigo it was Medicham, I loved the usefulness of the Mega and it not having it anymore made it very difficult to use in the battle arena.

How would I care for my skuntank?
Prepare for the smell! Skuntanks are well known for their smell obviously, and like to use it to their advantage. They will not hestitate to use that stench they can wield on anyone that they do not like, so treating your skuntank kindly is the very first key. However do not do it too much or they will walk all over you and then you no longer have control. Sometimes it can't even take it's own stench so that might be to your advantage. I would advise carrying a lot of tomato soup for the many baths you will be taking, as this is one Pokemon who packs a punch without even hitting you.

What research have you been up to recently?
Covergent species with a toedscool and tentacool, terastalizing, and then these interesting Paradox Pokemon. Course there's the old research topics, but since I can't study Mega Evolutions or Z-Moves or Gigantamax in Paldea, those have all been put on hold, as well as any Pokemon that I can't bring into the region with me. But new research is always helpful to have.

How’s your family?
Mary and Amy are well. Mary is working her Ranger job as well as keeping care of my Pokemon while I am traveling in a new region (especially Gregory). Amy has finally started her Pokemon adventure. She is actually in the Paldea region with me, and started her journey with Sprigatito (not what I was expecting but fine, would've gone with Quaxly) and I haven't seen her that much. We call every night with mom so we can all have a progress on our days and see each other. I'll see her somewhere on her journey but I am not going to be traveling with her. That's her journey, not mine.

What Pokémon do you have on your team since machamp joltik and smeargle aren’t there?
Oh god I miss the others...poor Gregory, he's never been away from me for so long...
Ahem, anyway.
Right now I have Sean of course, then I brought in Mocks the Mimikyu as it is able to use Mimic, then some new ones include Pads the Pawmot as my new source of slowing down Pokemon for me to research and defend me if need be, and then Legs the Toedscool in order to hold down Pokemon for medical research or if I need samples.
I have a few new research subjects as well, Legs being one of them in the whole Covergent species with Tentacool (now I have to capture one) and I am looking into terastalizing, but I need to find the right Pokemon for it first. More research subjects to come as well.
