Couple months ago, someone followed me, and when I checked to make sure they weren't a bot, they were really cool, so I did something I rarely do anymore and followed back. For a couple months, I really really enjoyed their content, they seemed to enjoy mine, and I made a couple gentle overtures of friendship. I liked their tags. I liked the way their mind worked. It was nice!

And then one day they were just gone. Deleted and disappeared.

I know it's not a new idea. But I think it's worth saying--I miss them. I'm sorry they're gone. People do see you. You impact them. Maybe he didn't think anyone would care if he was gone. I don't know. But I did.
