Have you considered putting a McDonald’s or Starbucks or something in the sinkhole? Everyone’s getting pretty bored and hungry down here
*staring 'sadly' down at the sinkhole*
Such loss, such a tragedy. You know, sometimes I think I can still hear them.
*gestures at bulldozer to start backfilling the sinkhole*
So sad. If only there was more we could do. 😔

(Promise this is my last March 25 ask, just had a thought) Well if Mordor suffered all this damage, are they still taking the Hobbits to Isengard at least?
The policy of taking Hobbits to Isengard is no longer in place. You are now encouraged to just eat them instead.

Hi,
I just want to say that I really enjoy... I mean respect the professional handling of this sad happening. It was an unfortunately big eruption, and as I heard even the Drak Tower itself is harmed (though it is very far from the Mountain). Other countries and pr departments should learn from you. Are the nazgul okay? These poisonous clouds and the smoke could be harmful to flying persons and their animals (which as I heard are from an endangered species).
Best regards, and long live the rightful king of Middle-Earth, Tar-Mairon.
Hello concerned citizen,
Thank you, from the wreckage of Lugbúrz, for reaching out to us in the aftermath of this terrible disaster.
All nine of the Nazgûl are safe and sound (and so are their mounts) as they were away from the mountain and the city when the eruption happened. We can't imagine what would have happened to them had they been actively rushing towards the mountain! Thankfully, that's not at all what they were doing.
Long live the immortal, untouchable, still-alive Tar-Mairon!

All Orcs are now permitted, nay encouraged, to eat any halfings of heirs of Isildur that they may encounter.
This policy change is unrelated to yesterday's volcanic eruption and sinkhole incident.

*sends fruit basket* Sorry about Sauron
Surely you mean sorry about all the people who just so happened to be standing on the spot the sinkhole formed? His Lordship himself is perfectly fine and very much alive and in one piece. In fact, he's eating the fruit you sent right now.
We would hate to discover that you were also standing outside with the rest when the sinkhole formed

It is with great sadness that we inform you all that @theevilanonblog was one of the people standing outside when the sinkhole formed 😔 The very much still alive Tar-Mairon says it is a great loss to Mordor. So sad that they were sinkholed 😔
Today our beloved Mount Doom erupted with before unseen ferocity. Eruptions are a natural process that show the health of our most iconic landmark. However, on this occasion, the force of the erruption has resulted in structural damage to our equally iconic Lugbúrz as well as the formation of a sinkhole outside our gates.
For your own safety you are asked to remain inside Mordor. Anyone leaving will be killed. By the sinkhole. It's very deep.
It's unfortunate that so many of our people just happened to be outside the gate at the time the sinkhole formed. Our untouchable King and God Tar-Mairon has expressed his sorrow at the incident. He would like to assure you all that there is nothing to worry about.
There are no problems in Mordor.
We will rebuild.

Is that because you fell down the sinkhole? We told you to stay away from the sinkhole.

Personally I think it's in supremely bad taste to celebrate the downfall of Sauron
