Soulmates.....

...do you believe in soulmates?

I do. I also believe we can meet them at the most inopportune times, causing them to become the most painful memory of our entire existence. How does one come to terms with that? I can remember the exact moment I met my soulmate, my soul sang and it was a feeling I can’t put into words. My entire being recognized their spirit before we’d ever spoken, and after the feeling only grew stronger. We will never be together, the timing wasn’t right. I think of him every single day and wonder what would have happened if we met each other at another time in our journey through life.

Life is a funny thing.
