Are your character shapeshifters? because I keep on seeing different body deformations on them on each drawing

i think of it as having random mutations that they can't control. like skin just falling off and mutated growths and stuff appear. then they heal after a while and something else will pop up. so they have some sort of body horror disease i guess? i'm not really good at thinking up stories rip, but i've long had a vague vampire type idea for them but instead of drinking blood to survive they have to eat people (silka and gemma would definitely want to and are a power freak couple lmao, but mucosa is constantly horrified by her condition, she's a sensitive soul. my other oc's i haven't really given much thought to their personalities rip) so they're always trying to avoid being hunted down. here's an ooooold doodle of mucosa having a slice of all meat pizza

bc it was old and i hadn't used it in years, i don't like having a lot of social media accounts so now i just have here and instagram. i wish a new site would finally appear, tumblr has been meh after so many people left and instagram is just ad hell

no, i just drew a chopped up girl in a suitcase and then kept drawing her every once in a while. sometimes i think of giving her a name but i can never decide on anything. i'm so bad at coming up w backstories and stuff like that

i never used it anymore so i thought i'd just get rid of it. the one thing i miss about da is that landscape and vertical art were the same? now almost all art i see is vertical bc of phones and i make my art vertical bc of that too. but there was something nice about horizontal art, knowing most people would view your art on a pc so it would just fill their whole screen. lost to time i guess rip. anyways thank you for staying around so long! c:

thank you for following so long <3 all my advice is outdated now, i still use sai and it seems most artists either use an ipad or non sai programs for their pc so i would suggest looking into other programs. when i first started digital art, i looked at tooons of tutorials on deviantart, not just how to use programs but also just how to shade and things like that. for me tutorials w both visual and detailed written descriptions are the most helpful. as for drawing tablets i prefer the kind that are just a blank slab bc looking up at my screen doesn't hurt my back like looking down at a screen does. i wish i could have better tips but i'm a little stuck in 2013 here haha
