She had been exposed to many different kinds of music in her lifetime, and she found something incredible in all of them-- music, in her opinion, was a natural magic. “How could he be anything but when he has the two of us to watch over him. The boy was loved and nurtured. That would never change.

Agatha dipped her head, finding that she didn’t like Niamh’s face hidden from view. “Your ego may grow, but it will never be larger than mine.” She teased as she pressed into Niamh’s touch. “I slept like a log-- you being with me, no doubt, had a hand with it.” Her cheeks tinted ever so slightly.

She was stunned, really. It almost felt ethereal just how easily Niamh could bring a lightness into their lives. Both her and Nicholas. “You got him to sleep?” The poor baby boy had been having such a hard time adjusting to this world. Everything was new and scary to him.

Her hand brushed gently against Niamh’s waist, a look of pure admiration in her eyes. She glanced about the room, grateful that she seemingly slept to late morning. “You… are wonderful. You know that?”

“It took a little while, but I found a song that he liked.” She smiled, eyes crinkling. “He’s a very sweet boy.” Niamh had quickly grown fond of little Nicholas. It had been easy to settle into a role as a second caretaker, to help Agatha. There had been no question that she would.

Niamh giggled, turning to hide her face in the pillow. “You’re going to give me a big ego with compliments like that.” She peeked out, reaching up to brush her thumb over Agatha’s cheekbone. “How did you sleep?”

Niamh hummed, brushing her nose along the skin of Agatha’s shoulder, pressing another kiss to it. “Of course I stayed.” She reached over and brushed some of Agatha’s dark curls back from her face.

“The baby is sleeping. I was able to get him to settle down for a nap. I figured that you needed a nap, too.”
