Woah, another model released so early after the last one? Yes... but this one took me months instead of weeks ^^;
See, this map was for another TTRPG campaign on a game called Not The End, on which I was the Master instead of a player. I've created this world collectively with the other players, each adding what they wanted to play. The result? A dieselpunk world set on a floating city after an apocalyptic event. I'm so happy how this campaign turned out.
As for why it took me months to complete, even after the campaign's end... the file was too big for my computer to render even a part of it, so I screenshotted the rings separately and edited them on Gimp. Even the fires coming from the reactors are made on Gimp.
With that said and done, this is one of the model I'm incredibly proud of, and I'm starting to think I could do MORE complex models and landscape. Maybe with a few less polygons than usual ^^;
I might upload more models I've created for this campaign in the near future. In the meantime, feel free to ask!

This model took me only one and a half week to complete... but I had to wait a little longer before revealing it.
Since last year I've been playing the longest TTRPG campaign I've ever played on Fabula Ultima, a game which pays tributes to the JRPG videogames. There's a lot I've got to say about this campaign (which is stil ongoing, by the way), but all I can say is that the character I used to play sacrificed himself at the end of the first part and now I have a brand new character in it... which can also pilot this barrel mecha named Blackbeerd :P
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I am SO happy with how it turned out in the end. The only parts that troubled me the most, as you can see from the GIF, were the feet and the hands. ESPECIALLY the hands. I was never happy with how they looked, but the final design I've come up with are acceptable!
I'm getting faster and better with 3D modeling, I gotta say that!

This one has been sitting in my folder for a few years now, but I've never shared it on my social medias.
The animation you see up here is the first one I've ever done on Blender, and the model I've recreated here is the Pioneer 9. Why this space probe, you might ask? Well, back then I was reading a web comic known as 17776 by Jon Bois, and it has been a nice read. So I took interest and did this tiny little tribute to one of the main protagonists from this comic. Check it out if you can, is a very nice comic with a peculiar graphic!

I've been waiting for this day to come, and now that May 4th has come I can finally present him to you:
Meet C0-S0, a C-series Astromech Droid on the run!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That's right, this is the first model I've created on Blender that's not a building or an item (actually there's another one, but I haven't release it to the public yet, but this one is the first I release).
It "only" took me about a month to complete it, yet I still need to correct it's rig skeleton in order to animate it. For now, I'm proud of the final result and I didn't use many tutorials to make it.
What else can I say if not...
Happy Star Wars Day!

Helm of the Desert
It is said that this helm once belonged to a scholar who came from another world… but you don't look so interested in knowing it's deepest secrets, do you? Sigh, fine. Just take it and be on your way. Kids these days…
It is with my greatest pleasure that I can announce this brand new mod for the videogame A Hat In Time! This is the first time I've done something like this and I'm extremely excited about it!
This hat is based both on Dark Souls' Royal Helm and on the trademark of one of the most famous content creators and videogame popularizer in Italy: Sabaku no Maiku, aka Mike of the Desert. And now you can also wear it, with instant availability!
I'd like to thank Starschulz, the author of Setting up a Hat flair - Tutorial, which is the guide that helped me setting up the model and bring it inside the game. And special thanks to CapitanoGhost for helping and teaching me how to bake a proper texture and normal map. If it wasn't for his help, this mod might have taken more time to finish.
Now go out there and hunt down those Time Pieces, fellow undead kids!

More progress with Blender, more miniatures for a fictitious tabletop game! After the tower, I've created a little medieval fort. It took me something like 20 hours in total to create it, but for most of it I did it without looking up for any tutorial or using reference. With the exception of the texture painting, the shading and the walls around the four towers, it was all done without any kind of help.
I could've done something better for sure, but I'm happy with the final result nonetheless!

It's been a while since I've done any animation exercise. I don't know if I'll be able to upload more of these on a regular basis, but I've been missing doing this.
This animation is based on an episode of Horrible Histories starring roman emperor Caligula and mixed it with Among Us, "talking about suspiciously" :P My main interest for this animation was to get the timing right in 24 frames per seconds, with a huge help from the Keyframe VLC script. It's not particularly fluid, but I'm satisfied with the result nonetheless. The lighting was the real problem, though, since the map I used was incredibly dark.
Any criticisms and tips are welcome!

Well... I had fun with Impostor Factory's AU Playbook and made a short crossover meme out of it :P
But seriously, I highly suggest playing the Freebird Games, they're all very touching.
Original meme is here.

This is a series of posters I made for an RPG campaign based on Fate Core which I took part almost a year ago. It was the first RPG campaign after many years that I played one, and also the first system that I've played online and that it's not D&D or Pathfinder. The plot was created as we were playing, since the whole setting, worldbuilding and genres are all colectively written down during many session 0s, ending up with a steampunk world that resemble Bioshok Infinite with Kaijus and conspiracies. Oh, and also wibbly-wobbly... timey-wimey... stuff. :P
It's been a fun journey, and it also drove me to try out the many varieties of TTRPGs that exist out there. Oh, if you're wondering which of these characters in the one I've played as, well, that would be the grumpy old man with the white moustaches. His name is Reginald Tenneton, police officer by day, contract assassin by night, who wants to retire from his official job and quit the other infamous one by completing one final task, while also feeling the weight of regret.
If you want to know more about this campaign, feel free to ask. I'd be glad to tell you all the details, if you want!

I'm starting to get the hang of Blender. This plushie model is supposed to be the "chibi" version of my persona, but it's not complete yet: it's imperfect and the rig doesn't work quite well. So think of it as a prototype version for what I have in mind.
Still... I feel so proud to see I'm doing some actual progresses with Blender, and improving each passing day. Someday, I hope to offer to you some high quality art and animation done with this program, and also to release them more frequently than now. But for now, let's keep experimenting and learning with a slow pace!

So... recently I started to learn how to work with Blender. Initially I wanted to use it as an alternative to Adobe After Effects, but after following a tutorial covering the bases of this program... well, we can say I went a little overboard with my previous intentions ^^;
So I began creating this model to see how good I became with the program after a month spent following tutorial, and for this I've decided to create the miniature of a tower meant for a tabletop game or a strategy game... and honestly? I think it came out pretty good, all things considered! Of course, for some things I stopped and looked for specific tutorials about (like the archway and the door), but then I've assimilated these lessons and used them for creating additional models on my own. I might get back to work on it and improve it, but for now I consider it complete.
Feel free to tell me what you think about and, if you have any suggestions or a tutorial to check out, do not hesitate to hit me up!
Oh, by the way, the textures I've used here are all from this website. If you're looking for some free textures for your projects, then you could try this!

Just a little comic I made for fun. I love Cuphead and “Tenacious D In the pick of Destiny”, so why not make a crossover out of one of my favourite parts of the movie?:P
I also took it as an opportunity to try out a comic page style. There might be something I could improve on, but overall I’m satisfied with the final result.

Just a little animation test I did for practice, inspired by this video and, subsequently, by the original videoclip it originates from. As always, I used Source Filmmaker for the animation, lighting and green screen positioning, while the visual effects are made on Vegas Movie Pro 15.
Let me know what you think about it and if there’s something I could have done to make it better!

Day 16: Flight.
So… this is an event I joined just today, because I don’t have enough time to give it my full attention, but I wanted to give it a go at least for one day.
So, here is the context: this month, the Nintendo Company celebrates 35 years of activity. To celebrate it, @starprincesshlc and @jklantern organized an event called “Nintember”, in which people shares their love for Nintendo games by making a piece of work per day depending on the prompt.
At this point, the event is half-way through, but feel free to join in and give it a try!

So... my “summer vacations” (although I wasn’t actually on holiday) are over... so that means I’m back with more SFM posters! And what good way to restart if not getting the inspiration from a video made by one of my favourite animators? These two posters are inspired by “Demon’s Dark Souls Ep 1 - La Triade” by ThePruld (if you don’t understand the italian language don’t worry: there are also official english subtitles, along with russian, spanish and portuguese); I was also inspired by the announcement of the Demon’s Souls remake, coming a few years after the Dark Souls remaster: in fact, I began these posters a few days after the PlayStation 5 convention where the Demon’s Souls trailer was shown, but I’ve interrupted it because of other works I was doing in these days (I can’t say anything about it yet, but... it’s gonna be worth the wait ;) ) and I was losing inspiration. I get back to it just few days ago and finished it on GIMP, making it in two different versions. It might not be my best work, but it has been a good exercise in posing and editing!
CREDITS:
-Iron Golem Pack and Looking Glass Knight models: Fuzz.
-Tower Knight model: Pennywise the Clown (providing model and scripts),  BlueFlytrap (shaders, promo), Sundown (SFM porting, promo, smoothing groups), Champion Plague Nexus (Gmod porting).
-Dragonslayer Armour model:  BlueFlytrap.
Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2 and Dark Souls 3 all belongs to FromSoftware and Namco Bandai.

I’m going straight to the point: usually for topics not pertaining my blog I would use the secondary one, but this time it’s different.
While I consider myself an apolitical person, I can’t ignore the facts and the changes happening around the world. That includes the #blacklivesmatter movement.
For the very few of you who don’t know what I’m talking about: on May 25th, an African-American man named George Floyd was murdered by white policeman Derek Michael Chauvin, who is now charged for second degree murder. However, this grim case was the spark that ignited the rage of the black population in America who suffered years of racism and abuses, who do not possess the same rights as the white people, and now they’re fighting against this messed up system to be treated like any other people, to have equal rights, to protest against the abuse of power by the american police and, especially, to put an end to racism in the U.S.A.
Fortunately, they’re not alone in this fight: other minorities and also part of the white people in America are joining the protest, and so around the globe people are crowding the squares to demand the end of injustice and racism both in their countries and in America, in the hopes that black people may one day have the same rights as any white citizen and be treated as an equal.
There are many ways you can all support this: one of the most direct activities is to take part to a protest announced by a reliable organization (BEWARE OF FAKE ANNOUNCEMENTS: THEY MIGHT BE TRAPS PREPARED BY ULTRA-RACIST GROUPS), which it might be dangerous in these days but it’s important to let your voice be heard more directly.
If you can’t/don’t want to partake on a protest, you can still show your support by signing petitions and donating to charities in order to support the cause. I will leave some links in this post.
If you can’t do any of the above, then please spread the word as much as you can on the social medias and educate yourself why Black Lives Matter.
Thank you for reading my post.
P.S. : If you disagree with me or putting hashtags like “All Lives Matter” or, even worse, “Blue Lives Matter”... then I invite you to block me, unfollowing me here and unsubscribe on my YouTube channel, and I will do the same to you. I don’t care if I would lose part of that little audience I have, I rather prefer to have few good people than a multitude of bigots.

You’re never fully dressed without a smile...
This poster has been a good challenge for me: I’ve been practicing with GIMP in order to improve my posters and add some additional effect on them. While the result might not be perfect, I’m really glad for how this came out!
Also, I’ve been meaning to make a “We Happy Few” themed poster for a long time: while this game has a lot of imperfections and bugs, the setting and the atmosphere always fascinated me, and some of the characters (first of all Uncle Jack) are unforgettable. I have mixed feelings for this game ^^;
I hope you like it!
