Clowns are not people.
Clowns are a social and nomadic species of monsters that roam several parts of the earth. The most ancient clowns have been found in the Fifth Dynasty of Egypt, around 2400 BC. Since then, clowns have evolved alongside humans into a variety of breeds, much like domesticated dogs. The domestic clown (the clowns that live in human society) are very secretive. No human nor monster knows that clowns are a different species, as they hide themselves very well and use the excuse of it all being a costume and makeup. Abilities: - Clowns have the ability to shapeshift into humans if they choose. They cannot change their human appearance. They have 1 human form. - Clowns feel less pain, and are basically immune to violence. This is how they can perform slapstick and death defying acrobatics. - Clowns are incredibly flexible, able to fit in tight spaces. - They can also manifest any funny object for a given situation. If a pie is needed, a pie will suddenly appear. - All clowns have the ability to create sentient puppets/toys if they create it by hand. The toys will talk and play on their own. They don't have free will and are incredibly stupid. Most they can do is tell silly jokes. Behaviour: A clown's behavior is heavily dependent on which breed they are. Identifying the base breed of a clown is the most important thing, as the breeds and sex of clowns are fluid. All clowns are born under a specific breed, under a specific category (simply just happy or sad clowns. Happy clowns tend to be happy, and sad clowns are more prone to mental illness. Any breed can be under this category, except for the Pierrot clown, which is always sad). The breed of a clown can vary due to environmental and emotional factors in the clown's life. As a clown needs to adapt to its circumstances, it morphs into a hybrid clown. You can see this in cases of breeds having mixed characteristics for example, a talking Mime or a colorful Pierrot. Here's a list of the most popular base breeds: - Party clownParty Clowns is an umbrella term for multiple clown breeds that fall under this category. They are also known as bright clowns, holiday clowns, happy clowns, or performance clowns. This is due to their breed traits, outgoing, boundless sense of energy, and artistic talent at making balloon animals. Their classic appearance is the most famous of all the clown breeds, being the typical image that comes to mind when clowns are portrayed in the media. They are brightly colored, and often have plump, round noses that are a red color.
-Pierrot (Pedrolino Bertoldo)Pierrot clowns are delicate and sensitive, preferring calmly stimulating low-risk play over slapstick comedy and general performance. They should be kept away from scare and party clowns at all costs, as sudden loud noises frighten and overwhelm them regardless of friendly intentions. Pierrot tends to have bouts of random melancholy as they fall in love very quickly but struggle to get a date because they are very shy. Pierrots tend to sing, play instruments and are very artistically inclined to express their feelings (usually of sadness or love).
-Harlequin
The Harlequin is characterized by their checkered costume. Their role is that of a light-hearted, nimble, and astute servant, often acting to thwart the plans of his master, and pursuing his own love interests, (mostly going after female clowns such as the Columbine), with wit and resourcefulness, often competing with the sterner and melancholic Pierrot. He serves the role of the romantic hero. The Harlequin is physically agile and his trickster qualities allow them to be great performers. They have mischievous personalities, enjoying playing pranks and bullying their fellow clowns. They are most likely to steal your girlfriend and cuckold you.
- Columbine
She is dressed in a very short ragged and patched dress, appropriate to a master of the arts and carries a tambourine, which she uses to fend off the amorous advances of other clowns, such Pantalones or Harlequins. She is the only functional intellect on the stage and she uses this intellect to seduce or trick others around her to do what she wants. Columbines tend to be ringleaders of whatever troupes they are in due to their desirability from the males and their cleverness.
- Scare Clown
Scare Clowns are often large, intimidating looking breed of clown, with genetic ties to the Big Top and Carnival clowns. Scare Clowns are considered an umbrella term for many breeds of clown that have frightening traits, but that are not all close genetically, for example including the Axehandlers, Greater and Lesser Scare clowns, some Space clowns, as well as the Killer Clown and some feral clown breeds (juggalos). They are very protective of their young and territorial, often serving the role of a ‘guard dog’.And many more...
Hierarchy: Clowns are a happy go lucky species, even the sad ones, so it may come to a shock to some to hear that clowns have a hierarchy. In fact, the scientist that studied wolves and claimed that they had ‘alphas’ and ‘betas’ was actually studying local wild clown populations. The study was changed to wolves so as to not ruin his career as nobody believes clowns are real… Even then, the study was wrong. The hierarchy of clowns is not strict, nor enforced with any rules. When clowns gather in large troupes, this happens to be how they structure their colonies. They live in tents and roam the world, stopping in random locations to perform their acts and engage with any humans in the area. Humans find these visits fun and love to play with the clowns. These are called carnivals or the circus. During these visits, certain clowns might enjoy the human population so much that they shapeshift into their human form and chose to live amongst them, thus domesticating themselves.
The clown hierarchy is formed by 3 main classes.
The ring leader at the top, the stars of the show (androgynous) in the middle and the males at the bottom. These classes correspond to their sexe. Clowns do not reproduce sexually, instead each sexe of clown has a special balloon with the color of their sexe (males are yellow, females are red and androgynous are orange). Also, clown sexe is tied to their breed (ie: all Pierrots are male, all Columbines are female and all Harlequins are androgynous). To reproduce, the red and yellow balloon must be tied together to create a baby. Androgynous clowns can just tie their own balloon together. Once the balloon is tied up in the shape of a baby, the clowns must protect and take care of their baby, and not pop it. Over time, the balloon creature will grow flesh and become a living being. As females are so rare, most male clowns will never be able to find a suitable mate to reproduce with, but that’s ok. Clowns are not bothered by the burdens of parenthood. Most of the clown population growth comes from androgynous clowns making their own children. However, androgynous clowns still compete to mate with females as to ensure that their offspring comes out female. Androgynous clown asexual reproduction will only produce more males or androgynous. Mating with a female will result in a female 100% of the time, and females are so rare, it's best to mate with them.
Ring leadersRing leaders are the clown that chooses where the troupe will go, where they find food and who organizes the shows. Their work is to take care of their fellow clown and ensure their safety. Ring leaders might have to break fights, or comfort sad clowns. They tend to be the smartest clowns in the colony, so sometimes the ring leader can be male or androgynous. However, most ring leaders are female, as females are extremely rare, and once you add a female clown, all the males are swooning for her and fight for the right to mate with her as clown couples last a lifetime. As their breeds are few in number. The only female clowns are Columbine, the Fool and Clownettes.Androginous clownsThese tend to be Harlequins, Auguste clowns (red clowns), Mimes, Big top clowns, Greater Scare clowns and more. The androgynous clowns are characterized by their propensity for mischief and attention seeking behaviour. They are often outgoing, and the stars of any circus they are in, right under the ring leader. They are cunning and capable of charming others for manipulation/trickery, but they aren’t the sharpest tools in the shed. Male clownsBeing the most common clown, many of the breeds are male such as Party clowns, Sweets british clowns, Pierrots, Jesters, Jokers, Fools, white clowns, etc. Diet:
The Clown diet varies among breeds but shares some commonality. Most party clowns are happy with corn dogs, doughnuts, pretzels, or most types of cake. The Sweets British breed have a light and delicate food-taste. They favor cream teas, jellied scones, mini sandwiches, and sponge cakes. Any food that is themed the same to your clown should work. Clowns are communal eaters, enjoying to play and fight with food as eating is a time for bonding and socializing. Clowns get really sad if they have to eat alone or throw pie at themselves.
Environment:
As clowns are nomadic and live in tents, they tend to stay in more dry and even tempered climates. They avoid the rain and snow as much as possible. If they live in a climate with snow, their circus either goes into hibernation, or they flee to live in human-built colonies as the building infrastructure is far superior. Domesticated/Solitary clowns:
These clowns live amongst humans, they stay in their human forms most often to conceal their clown identities. Though clowns are not sexual by nature, they have evolved to look and operate like us. Clowns are not very fertile, but there is a chance of clown and human reproduction. It doesn’t matter if a clown is half human, as long as there is the active clown gene in its DNA, the offspring will be a clown.  This had resulted in a small but growing population of clowns living ‘normal’ lives among us. But secretly, they do wish for the freedom of being with their kin. These individuals sometimes run away to join the circus later on in life, but some get jobs as holiday performers instead to cope with their clownhood. Domesticated clowns struggle to understand human conventions. Sometimes, they dress weirdly, or break social norms. They often feel outcast by society. They take solas in watching movies such as “The joker” or other clown related media. Happy clowns can cope well living amongst humans, using their clown powers for good. Unfortunately for sad clowns, they have a harder time coping with loneliness. These negative emotions corrupting their breeds and turning them into scare clowns. In 2016, there was an uptick in sad clown mental illness which resulted in the increase in scare clown sightings and attacks across the United States of America. These were sad clowns lashing out at the human society holding them prisoner. Thankfully, the SCP foundation has partnered with the World Clown Association and has provided therapy and rehabilitation services to undercover clowns.
Clown Origines:
The clown species first made contact with humans during the Fifth Dynasty of Egypt, around 2400 BC. They were seen as harmless by the humans and fun to observe, so they were not attacked. Clowns didn’t really understand human culture or rules, so they made fun of it. These jokes humored the humans and caused them to self reflect. Some clowns have traditionally served a socio-religious and psychological role. Often participating in rituals and ceremonies in many native cultures. In Europe, the clown or the jester was the only one free to speak against the ruling class. No human would ever dare say such negative comments, but the clowns had no fear and spoke honestly. Clowns evolved alongside humans, learning to mimic them with their shapeshifting abilities and make them laugh. Humans would seek out clowns for entertainment, and in return, they gave the clowns money or treats for their shows. Clowns would use this money for food as humans cook really well, and the slapstick of the clowns make food preparation/hunting impossible or even deadly.
However, the clown species has been struggling. Due to advances in technologies and society as a whole, clowns are an outdated means of entertainment. Humans seek human made media, and are too busy with their jobs and families to be interested in the circus anymore. The wild clown population has gone down with the decrease of circus ticket sales, as they are unable to feed themselves. The main cause of death in wild clown populations is no longer pie suffocation, but now starvation. Ever adaptable, clowns are not an endangered species yet as there is a rise in domesticated clowns. This is not good for the mental health of clowns, as they need to be with their own kind in order to be properly socialized and live authentically, but hopefully the species will find a way to survive in these tumultuous times.

Total Drama Action details I noticed

Gwen's lucky necklace is just a blender. I love how the animators use their old assets to make stuff like this. On TV, or from far away, it goes unnoticed

In the picture Harold shows of himself naked from season 1, Harold's smiling in it. Implying he was enjoying it. What a weirdo.

just love that each character has a different reaction to Owen being a gross creep. It's a nice touch. Trent looks traumatized.

Rewriten scene from 2 times alive (minor spoilers, but this is essentially just cut content that was replaced with something else)
Kiel (mother) and Dimitri are in the car.
Awkward silence for multiple panels, until she breaks it. Kiel: Was it another attempt? Dimitri: No… I just wanted to have fun. Kiel: Your idea of fun is to get high, run away from home for a week, go to a synagogue on new year’s eve and rant and cry about your father? Dimitri: …. Kiel: You know the fucking rules. She slaps him while she’s driving. She’s a pro. Kiel: We don’t talk about him… He doesn’t exist! No matter the circumstances. I don’t care if you’re high. We don’t tell ANYONE that you’re his son, that I’m his ex-wife. Being like him is nothing to be proud of. Dimitri tears up: I’m not proud! I’m scared… Mom I don't wanna be like him! Kiel: YOU’RE ACTING LIKE HIM. They stop in the drive way. Dimitri is crying and she’s avoiding eye contact. Dimitri: I’m sorry. Kiel: You better be. She leaves the car. Dimitri face-plants into the dash board. Scene transition with red. Dimitri’s in his room with his arm all cut up. There’s a chat between him and his friend behind him to serve as narration. LyreRose: Dimitri! I love you. Please don’t hurt yourself. Dimitri: I’m already bleeding. LyreRose: Stop. Stop please. Call me, OK? Missed call Missed call LyreRose: Dimitri Please reply, I don’t want you to die. Don’t kill yourself. Dimitri: I’m not gonna do it, I’m just thinking about it. When I’m high, I feel so happy. LyreRose: I feel happy when we hang out. I feel happy when we chat, and game, and talk. Please. Doesn’t that make you happy? Dimitri: It’s just numbing. LyreRose: It’ll get better, I promise. Stop cutting and answer the fucking call. Missed call. Missed call. Dimitri is lying face down in bed naked. Most you can see is his butt. He’s dirty and his hair is a mess. Tissues and trash littering the floor. [Dear diary. January 3. School started today but for the past 2 days, I have barely eaten or moved. I peed in my trash bin. I’m bored. Positively rotting alive. :) But that guy from the synagogue… I’ve been following what they said. They were right about all the religious stuff. I’m been high pretty much all day now, and I see it… The gods, the universe… I’m figuring it out on my own. ] His phone buzzes. It’s Zachary! Zachary: Sup dude. It’s me, that guy from the Halloween party. My brother gave me your number. Dimitri stares at it with bored dead eyes. [Things might get interesting…] Zachary: Wanna hang out? Dimitri: Yes. The park, tonight. See ya.

My life, past and inspirations for each of my books (part 3)
This one gets weird really hard and really fast. MK: 2 Times Alive This book is my 3rd and my favorite out of the bunch. It's the origin story of Dimitri. Taking place right after being traumatically r*ped, Dimitri struggled to cope and make friends. He's lonely and has always been bullied, so he's really desperate to make meaningful bonds this year. Things get tense when he relapses into drug use and accidentally creates a cult. This comic spawned right after coming home from the shelter. I had developed an interest in Wicca, and became a practicing witch. Also I got really into weed... I used this strange new experience as one for Dimitri's journey. The concept changed a lot over time, but eventually settled into being nothing like the actual Wicca practice. Also, the story was set in the year 2012, arguably the best year of my life creatively. I was 12, making flip notes, writing fan fics of portal 2, role playing as warrior cats. It was awesome. Internet culture was at it's most nostalgic back then. This influenced a lot of the easthetic of the comic, having a heavy internet core/black and white/dithering effect. I even use Flipnoteman brushes in photoshop to simulate it being draw on a DSi. Dimitri even talks to internet friends and games with them. Not only is it nostalgic, but Dimitri's need to make friends and struggling with substance abuse really just encompasses my high school life very well. At Dimitri's age in the book (15 to 16), I was also being bullied, started drinking alcohol and struggling with my mental health. I was obsessed with shows and memes about the paranormal and conspiratorial like Gravity Falls and 'illumaniti confirmed'. (That's also where all the cult and magic stuff came from). The character of Jacklyn was based off of an internet friend I made back then and still keep in touch with today. There was a lot of internet drama I got myself into at that age. At the time, it felt like life or death, but growing up, I see it as kids being kids. Overreactive and immature. This theme of maturity is even shown in the comic, as many characters point out their age and try to justify how 'responsible' they are. It was common thing to do back when I was younger. I was the second oldest in our group, then I was deemed to be the most innocent. Kids prided themselves on their knowledge of sex, death, or art but never actually did anything adult. This isn't to say that online was just a joke. I had been groomed and exploited online, arguably worse than anything happening in my real life. At 14, I was bullied and molested by this guy at school. It was so bad, I'd eat in the bathroom, avoid being seen in public and even got that bully expelled for that he did to me... but every night, I'd go home and I was pleased to see my friends. What I'm trying to say is, there shouldn't be a distinct line between internet vs irl. Both never bled into each other for me, but my online life was just as impactful, uplifting and traumatizing as my real one. That's why this comic has a more 'internet core' look to it. Not only that, but the friend group drama that inspired this comic was very therapeutic to unpack. Look at it as an adult, I understand that the dramas we has were the result of us all being hurt children. The friend who inspired Jacklyn, my ex online gf, my best friends. We all hurt each other, got into fights, etc. It's easy to forgive them now and if we had this experience as adult, these never would have been fights. However, some of my friends back then did do horrific things... Things that even an adult would be tried in prison for. That person, I cannot forgive but man, I sure hope he grew up into a better person. The whole plot of 2 Times Alive is about forgiveness, especially forgiving the youth. Growing up is the hardest thing somebody can do, as the world is cruel and bizarre, yet you're born into it with no prior context or frame of reference. Life does get easier with age, but only because you have more knowledge to help you figure it out... and even then, it's still hard.
Despite this, we need our inner child to feel happy and at peace. It's the lesson Dimitri has to learn and it's the lesson I learned while writing it. This book really means a lot to me. It's only my third book but damn. It'll be my best once I complete it... and I'm working on it while I'm so young too. In a few years, this book won't even be my best anymore. It'll have been just a time capsule of my youth, and that really fucks with me sometimes. There's no final book until I die. Even if this is my peak for now, it's not the end of my progress. Yikes.

My life, past and inspirations for each of my books (part 2)
(Warning this post gets a bit sad and dark) MK: 6 Rue Avenue This book has a lot more of myself in it. There's no shame and having a self insert character. It would be bad writing not too, as most writers write what we know anyway. The story of Emilien Flaversham is that of a overworked kid forced to labor in his mother's restaurant while she is dying of cancer. He sacrifices his education, social life, hobbies and well being in order to keep the family business afloat, until she dies. This scenario is very exaggerated. People go thru this, I'm sure, but it's overly tragic on purple. Emilien's character is all about people pleasing, selfless sacrifice and workaholism. This relates a lot to my compulsive need to work or finish tasks, as well as this isolating feeling I get when in social situations when I'm not helping/cleaning something. Essentially, if I'm not working/helping somebody, I'm either wasting my time or useless. Emilien has 'ant philosophy', a mind set I developed ever since I was 14. In high school, I didn't have many friends, and I was encouraged, even forced, to study in order to get into a good college. Due to being bullied and isolated at school, I decided to spend my free time working as much as possible. I prided myself on being as productive as possible. It felt good, but it would cost my mental health. It has taken over half a decade to heal from this era in my life. Even to this day, I struggle to give myself breaks. The scenes were Emilien confronts his father and runs away from home, seeking a new life is very eery to me now as it was writing before I ever ran away from home... But it happened! During production of the comic, A fight between my mother and I broke out. I packed all my things and lived in a homeless shelter all summer long. I even finished my comic there. It was fun, but dangerous. I was hospitalized, I watched suicide attempt, overdoses, seizures and heart breaks. I was lucky to have avoided most of that pain, but I made friends with people who I considered family. I had formed a 'mafia kids' of my own! Then, slowly, I watched them all erase themselves from my life. Emilien's story ends on a happy note though, he succeeds his escape and goes to live with his sibling. I ended up moving back in with my parents. As for the vapourware aesthetic, it was chosen because: - It looks cool
- Fit Emilien's personality - Has anti-capitalism commentary - I really liked vaporwave during that workaholic period of my life In cannon, (and this is a story for a unwritten book), the vaporwave is explained to be Emilien's adhd view of the world. Constantly distracted and in a slight day dream state. Because he has adhd but worked at a restaurant, he didn't need to be medicated. He could work just fine with his disorder, but once he needs to sit down and study for example, the adhd will cause problems. Taking AHDH medication would cause the vaporwave colors to dull, thus signalling what is and isnt reality. Emilien is a lot like me in the sense that he can't concentrate and has an overactive imagination.

My life, past and inspirations for each of my books (part 1)
This might get ramble but also a warning, this post gets heavy. MK: 12 signatures This is my first comic book, it was produced right before covid started and finished 4 months in. I even worked on it while sick with the disease and during my time working at a hospital during the pandemic. It's a coincidence that some vaguely dramatic event happens during the production of my books, haha. But on the bright side, during produce I started dating the love of my life. This book is my least favorite of the current trio. It was rushed, and the least creative out of my books. Not much of my life is portrayed in this book. There was a heavy use of culture put into tho as the book was made for a government organization. There were plans to distribute the book in youth shelters, have a book signing ceremony and even produce enough copies to sell at my local book store, but due to covid, everything fell thru. For a first book, anybody else with experience would call this a failure or just practice. The book was barely sold, I was to donate to centers by myself and hell, a doctor even stole one of the copies. However, I really appreciated making it. It taught me a lot I needed to know, and would serve as the building block to my Mafia Kids series.

Jacklyn Anderson's entire backstory
Jack, aka 'Jacklyn Jacqueline Jackoleen Anderson' is one of my longest used OCs, even before Dimitri. She's now making her first debut in the Mafia Kids world as a co-star in the 2 Times Alive. This is the origin story of Dimitri but also her... But her life didn't start at 16 years old moving to Canada. Back in Finland, she lived thru some pretty unusual events. Early life: Jack's father is a world renowned detective, Mr. Anderson. He's a very strict and perfectionist man who raised his daughter to be exactly like him. Her mother, Agent Catrina was a strong willed and skilled police officer, who cared about protecting those in need. Jack was the pride and joy of the family. Any other parent would be proud to have such a pretty girl as their daughter, (Jacklyn is one of my OCs who's meant to actually be pretty) but her parents didnt care about look. Anderson wanted her to excel in school and get smart. Catrina wanted Jack to exercise and get strong. Unfortunately, they discovered thru exercising that Jacklyn was born with a rare condition making her muscles and lungs very weak. She's never be able to bare children let alone live an active life style. Her mother was devastated, and this was the first time Jacklyn was ever anything less than perfect... And it would be the last time. Childhood: Starting elementary school, Jack studied a lot and became a gifted kid. She was often paired with the 'troubled' students to help them. Jack enjoyed this a lot as they was constantly being praised and in direct contact with those who could benefit from her. At this point, jack still has her empathy intact and she enjoyed being about people. She didn't make any friends with the gifted kids, as she jealous of them, but all the 'troubled' students liked her a lot. It was at this point where she befriended Rory Riquette, an odd ball kid with a bad Homelife, but a big heart. She is introduced to making plush animals and furry art at thru him. She loves cats and cute snuggly plushes. At was at this point where her mother went missing. Jack was still very young and didn't really understand the severity of this. Her mom was gone, but she'd be back, right? Now a single parent, Anderson began to bring her to crime scenes as he struggled to find baby sitters. At first being at these crime scenes were traumatic and scary. She'd cry seeing the corpses and police officers, but Anderson reassured her and made it fun. He explained that this was like a puzzle, and they had to find clues. Suddenly it became easier to ignore the dead people there, and over time, the dead bodies were no longer fellow humans, but just props to her. The story of 'Perfect shot' is completely cannon. It was a short crime mystery I wrote for English class in high school where in a 9 year old Jack and Rory solve their first murder. Jack is also struggling to win her father's approval as being a single parent, he's become distance and harsher on her. Teen years: Jacklyn is more grown up and mature, but her father's horrible parent has really changed her outlook on life. She's become a bit of a control freak and extremely insecure. She wants to be the best at everything and feels this immense pressure to succeed. At this point, her and Rory have a falling out as he's not good enough to hang out with her. Jack stopped tutoring the 'troubled' students, focusing on improving her skills instead. Her worldview has become much more paranoid as being exposed to her father's work constantly has made her believe that the world is a dangerous place full of serial killers, murder and violence. Jack has taken an interest in researching true crime and has set her sights on being a better detective that her father is. She's become completely desensitized to violence, often watching snuff films and gore online to 'study'. She loves horror movies and thrillers but really she's become obsessed with reliving that high she experienced as a child solving her first case. It's at this point where she decides to solve the hardest case of all: her mother's Catrina has never
returned or been found. Her case went cold and was declared legally dead. This makes no sense, how could the world's greatest detective not be able to solve the case of his own wife? Jacklyn's growing resentment of her father has lead to her snooping in his files trying to find anything abut her mother. Anderson is firmly against this and has prohibited her to continue searching, which has only fuelled more suspicion and rebellious behaviour from jack. Her sense of privacy has eroded too. She understands that people don't like getting spied on, but she doesn't care. She's paranoid and hyper vigilant, and has taken to stalking her neighbours to make sure they won't sabotage her. She's even trained a crow to be her pet and has equipped it with a tiny camera she can watch while it flies around her neighbourhood. She loves this bird and has named it Amity. Despite her declining mental health, she is still excelling. Boys find her very attractive but she ignores them in favour of her studies and interests. She's aro-ace, but one thing has never changed, she loves her cute plush animals and sewing. She has crafted herself a red cat themed hoody that she wears everywhere. Despite the mockery and weird looks of her being a furry, she's completely shameless. She's got the best grades in school, all the adults praise her to no end, and she's striving for a highly respected career. Her hoody doesn't matter. The opinion of other's don't matter. She driven to accomplish her goals no matter. And that's where she starts her journey in 2 Times Alive. If you wanna know what happens next, you'll just have to read my comic ;)

How to make actually useful characters/OCs
One thing I see a lot of young writers do is over would build, or develop OCS all spererate from each other. If you are making OCs to RP or just doodle, thats fine, but if you want to use them for comics, it's better to stop overwriting them. Instead, you should: - focus on a main character and their story, then create characters that fill out roles that are needed for the plot to move forward or be interesting. Like Phineas and Ferb, their creator started with a drawing of PHineas and from their he created his world. Everything relates back to it's dynamic with phineas and how they interact.
- create every character to relate back to another character to create character dynamics. Everybody interacts with each other, the more special and character driven the interaction is, the better. Ex: rivals, best friends, love, foil, opposites attract, abuse, bullying or coorperating, etc. it's all about character dynamics -Have the world interact with your MC and other characters in a specific way. If the world has all this lore and history too it that doesnt affect the MC at all, then it doesnt matter. - Useful characters are important to the mc but unimportant ones are useless to the plot and boring. unless they serve a function to the audience, like a joke, foreshadowing, or being gay.

What is the moon eye and what does it mean?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The moon eye is a symbol I created at 14 years old, and it's been an important symbol ever since. It's been a very important part to my philosophy on life, and for the lore of my imagination world/the stories I write. For many years, I've tried to create art that depicts this symbol and what it represents, but i's been very hard as in order to do this, my characters have to have be self inserts, or my talking piece. What naturally happened instead was the use of the eye meaning different things to different OCs, which I find interesting as I want this symbol to spread and become a well known human symbol, like the cross, star, heart, etc. To Avery Morse (2012): The story of Avery morse is that he wanted everything, so he put his DNA into Matter and became every single thing in existence. This was a big awakening for me, as I was often trying to figure out what 'nothing' was at that age. For example: It is impossible to do nothing. You can sit, lie down, sleep, etc, but you cannot do nothing. all action is... something. Anyways, the eye represented everything and his mind within it. All atoms, molecules, etc, are him, there for the universe is all under his control now as all atoms have his mind in it. Basically, it represented him being the highest consciousness aka god. not just being capable of creating sentient life, but also having control over it too with the power of pursuasion. To Aether (2012): Aether is the opposite to Avery in that she is made of anti matter, there for making her nothing, yet still existing. To her, the symbol of a drop of blood in a triangle symbolizes her being the blood it takes to keep eyes functional, but also not being an eye... idk its weird. To Westley (2021): The eye naturally has connections all the way back to Avery as well. It was intention to call references back to Avery and his concept, even if it didnt make too much sense in the Mafia kids current lore. Wesltey is a spiritual person, with interest in the 'infinity god' aka, Avery who is everything, Literally. West also worships Aether, and praises balance between nothing and everything. Thats why they explore all religions and worships all the gods by dipping their toes into all religions (aka, living at a church, mosque, temples, etc and just switching each 6 months). Their version of the moon eye has no arrows and is purple and orange instead of purple and pink. The contrasting colors indicate both everything and nothing. the moon symbolizes being at a disadvantage seeing. Instead of seeing something with sun light, they see with moonlight, both living the middle of blindness and full vision. Despite this lack of clarity, with full concentration, you can something extremely clearly with all your mind. Basically, not seeing reality, but seeing your own imaginations... seeing something that is both there but not real (like anti matter) Dimitri (2021): Dimitri is a schizophrenic who was listening to Westley talk about their beliefs and twisted it into his own version of beliefs that justify his life style. Dimitri has 1 symbols. The classic moon eye with arrows that is purple and white, and the alternative triangle eye that is black and orange. The moon eye presents higher consciousness, aka sobriety with full concentration. The triangle eye represents lower consciousness which is like, being high or drunk, less aware. To me, 2012: I have a very different meaning to the moon eye. This eye actually has a name and it's the Eye of Perception. It represents being able to see from another's point of view, and understand their actions. it also represented a lack of good or evil. People do theirs with their own intentions, and not all situations have bad or good eyes. "Just guys". It is heavily associated with empathy, self awareness and wisdom, however these values extend beyond just humans. It represents being able to see the whole picture as clearly as possible, seeing the lives of other beings. Ever if a rock is not alive, it will still has a history, past present and future. It changes and transforms in time. It's
being able to see every story. So yeah, I guess one thing we all have in common is the fact that it's about being a lot of shit, beyond your own mind or in your mind. Both Westley and dimitri have variants that focus on imagination, or simulating your own reality. like in a way, being Able to see it makes it real. Like unicorns are not physical things, but being able to see a unicorn makes it exist anyway. I don't know what conclusion to make of this. I think maybe.... I guess... The Moon eye represents... Extreme imaginative empathy? All knowing and caringness?

My friend's interpretations: @lizzietrashkittie: (uses this symbol) It being about perspective and seeing and understanding that those around you all have their own shit going on. But I'd also add in the idea of looking inward on yourself and understanding that your place in the world doesn't have to be big to still be a valuable story like the ones you see. Like. Okay this isn't an actual part of the symbol. But my brain instinctively puts the eye and moon inside of a circle (I can draw this if you want) And like. I guess the triangles that Dimitri added could also work for this, since they face away from the middle but like. That circle/triangles are the outside. The world. The eye itself is small and simply placed inside them. Anon: i would probably need to bounce off the meaning of other celestial bodies like the sun but i think the moon is really like the satellite of earth. its like jesus, closest to earth and the most "empathetic" of earth cause its so heavily affected by our gravity, whereas the sun "god" just sits there keeping everything in place. the eye can actually "generate" things, but its due to perceptual biases only. it's about belief and faith, not reality. because the moon only reflects light, not producing it, so the eye is a imagination limited by it's own life experiences. like you can imagine a unicorn, but only because you can combine elements you,re already seen before, like the horn alone + horse = imaginary animal

In all honesty, I was thinking that total drama should go back to it's roots and go rip off another famous reality show format, mainly big brother. Like trap them all in one house, or maybe in a city like the Truman show. The problem that the writers have is that they think the show needs to get big and grander. Adding more dangerous challenges, bigger thrills, etc. really, the best part of TD is the character interactions and... the drama. As long as they can use their roster of characters in different, unique and interesting ways, it'll be fun. Like dangorampa, the appeal isn't that kids are getting murdered, but solving the case and watching these characters interact. Like, literally who gives a shit about the location? Maybe spice it up by changing which island it's in or the rules of the game, but really, I just want a show about teenagers forming alliances, betrayal, love, and high tension. That show doesn't need fancy visuals, action shots or big changes, all it needs is a skilled set of writers and well defined characters. I really wish the crew would pull a Sega and start hiring a bunch of fanfic authors, THAT will fix the show, and it would be cost effective in terms of assets. we can just reuse the old characters from season 3 as everybody loves them still and just play with new dynamics. Total drama is so clearly good and has so much potential, but seeing it mishandled this way is so frustrating.
OK they put this show on a summer camp, a movie set, a f*ckin plane on tour, a radioactive waste land, and some stupid pointless fnaf lookin ah island. where the h*ll else are they supposed to make the new seasons?!?! total drama underwater? total drama in space?!?! total drama n*ked and afraid?!?!!?! total drama hype house?!?!??? they dragging the F*CK out of this corny ah show -_-

Harold is an Adhd-King, A dissection of NeuroDivergency in Harold from TD.
The reason why Harold has ADHD and not autism is because Harold does not show many or enough autistic traits. For example, Harold doesn't struggle socially. He understands and communicates well, he bonds with people easily. Yes, he's weird and mocked for it, but he is weird knowingly and simply does not care. He doesn't like Duncan, so of course he's rude to him, but he doesn't misinterpret other characters, or miss social cues. So we can at least confirm that Harold is allistic, but what confirms he has ADHD? For one, Harold is shown to have many 'skills' in a variety of weird, nitch and nerdy topics. Some include: beat boxing, karate, lock picking, knot tying, dancing, playing solitaire/chess, liking wizards, etc... Look at that list of shit. Almost nothing is in common. Harold seemingly jumps from hobby to hobby, gets extremely into them, then moves onto the next thing once he's learned all about it. This is extremely common behaviour with ADHD monarchs, and it's called a hyper fixation. But that's just one trait, what about the rest? Other symptoms include ( and examples of Harold doing these): - Stimming (harold does flappy hands a lot) - impulsivity (Harold's revenge on Duncan and other weird plans) - being easily distracted (All TD characters have this trait) - excessive talking (info dumping about his hyper fixation and bragging) - Attention seeking (He's on a fucking game show, and he brags a lot/shows off his mad skills) here's traits he doesn't have but I think could have irl: -constantly fidgeting (the animation budget was too low) - being unable to sit still, especially in calm or quiet surrounding (when do the challenges allow for this?) Another thing is the challenges are very ADHD friendly. they are stimulating, have an immediately goal and gratification (aka winning or losing) and don't require that much stillness. Now of course, theres a lot of holes in my theory, but I just want to break a stereotype real quick. Harold is a nerd, and smart. therefor he can't have adhd. This is stupid, of course people with adhd can do well in school. I do well in school and I have adhd. but Harold... if never stated to do well in school or academically at all. He excels in his mad skills and hyper fixations but what about math and science? or English? He does karate, so his gym grades wouldnt be that bad and he's at least in shape. but Harold is never mentioned to have any academic accomplishments. Maybe like a spelling bee, but he usually has awards for the weirdest shit: Like scouts, the know tying, karate, etc etc. It's not school, it's activities that are just random. Harold is only seen as a nerd because of his appearance, but when you think of it, most of the shit he likes are physical activities and even sports. on any other TD character, the trait of 'liking karate' wouldn't be seen as a nerdy thing. it would be seen as a sport. With all the hobbies Harold has, it's weird that he's a nerdy archetype. Wouldn't the mix of character, lock picking snd knot tying bend itself better towards... a ninja character? and that's my final point. All of Harold's special interest somehow relate to ninjas in some way. He knows each weird little thing because he likes ninjas, thus he must learn all this random crap. it's his special interest... which is an autism thing, however, adhd people have this too. My special interest is art. all my hyper fixations, my jumping to hobby from hobby is an extension of art. cartoons are composed of art and drawings, thus I hyper fixate on all cartoons, animation, my favorite show, art styles, etc. But I also like fashion, because fashion takes art. I like sewing, painting, video editing etc etc. I've dont it all, because it's all art. However, music is not a hyper focus of mine. because its not the kind of art I'm focused on. So Harold has his ninja thing, which in the show, he's shown to like a lot, theres even been moments where he dresses or becomes one at some point. His weapon of choice is even nun chucks. Anyways yeah, Harold is an ADHD ninja or
whatever. I kin him, I've never seen a man more relatable in my life. Please comment on this post, I'm losing my mind writing essays on TD.
