17. Do they like children?

(Past) Sterling was rarely in the presence of other children or children in general. He grew up with his younger brother in isolation until they were young adults. I'm sure when he started volunteering in the city on his own that he was pretty cordial with the children there.

(Present) Once again, Lancaster barely in the presence of any children to be nice to. His friends kind of act like children and he's nice (enough) to them. Does that count?

8. Do complex puzzles intrigue or frustrate them?

(Past) Sterling probably would have thought it pretty interesting to solve a complex puzzle. Although he hated studying, anything to stimulate the mind was worth the time and he always did enjoy a challenge.

(Present) Lancaster has absolutely no patience for puzzles. Of course he would try if he really had to, but he hasn't met a puzzle he couldn't just smash his way through.

13. Name one thing their parents taught them.

The answer is simple: to fight. His father taught him more about the physicality and technique while his mother fostered his mental fortitude during battle. Lancaster was raised to be a fighter through and through.

28. Would they date a fixer-upper?

This question is sort of difficult to answer because the concept of 'dating' never crossed Lancaster's mind. He had no interest in romance or pursuing people in that way. When he realized he had developed feelings for Wren during their time in knowing each other, he was in denial about it, and then got super angry about it. You know that scene in Disney's Hercules when Meg is singing in the garden yeah it was like that. Anyway, Lancaster doesn't consider Wren a 'fixer-upper', and because Lancaster has only ever had feelings for Wren I guess the answer would be no.

30. What would they do if they knew it would be forgiven?

(Past) NOT BECOME THE NEXT KING! LOL! He would have became an adventurer so quick ...

(Present) Lancaster is a pretty responsible man at this age. He has a lot of responsibility and isn't quick to shirk on said responsibility. I don't think there is much that he would feel like he would need to be forgiven for. I guess in the event he might kill someone out of personal vengeance or whatever, that he might still retain his oath and be forgiven.

15. What would they consider a waste of time– other than school or work?

(Past) Mostly the courtly stuff. Sterling likes diplomacy and stuff like that, but the more social things like dancing and being nice to other rich/royal people sucks. He's a shitty prince.

(Present) Lancaster would never say it out loud but as a guy who can't sleep or rest, having to wait for his friends to be fully rested to continue traveling is his answer. Not that he blames his friends at all, but it's more like "I have to sit here and fill time by doing inane shit because I want my friends to be ready for the journey ahead. I guess I'll practice swinging this sword. I guess I'll write in my journal. Oh gods it's only been 2 minutes."

19. Do they study before tests?

(Past) Absolutely not. Sterling was by no means dumb but he wasn't exactly looking to excel in his studies either. I guess you could say he was one of those guys who could just kind of get by-- not that it mattered, anyway.

(Present) I guess if Lancaster had to take any sort of test he would study. The rest of his friends are slowly learning common and he is the only one who doesn't get quizzed. Maybe he feels left out.
