Things I would like to see in future story events/fan works for the SO Trio:
After the Wonderland fiasco we check in on a mostly empty tavern in Nevras. At a table sits Gingerbread and Red Wine having, Steak is sleeping in a backroom. The conversation eventually shifts to that of the past, and a flashback of Gingerbread a few days after she moves in with Steak and Red Wine. Perhaps it starts with her sparring with Steak, she’s relentless and aggressive and trying to blow off steam from all of these confusing emotions she’s pent up for so long. After some time amusedly watching Steak struggle against fighting a little girl, Red Wine decides to pull Gingerbread away before she actually hurts the man and take her shopping to get some new clothes and accessories(I hc that the outfit she has now is different from the one she wore when she was first summoned, it’s similar but not quite as fancy). On the walk there the two start talking about why she was brought here, and Red Wine shows a rare moment of sympathy with Gingerbread, who realizes he isn’t as arrogant and self-centered as she thought.
Steak and Gingerbread get lost in a haunted forest and separated from Red Wine. They end up having to team up to fight monsters together and search for their friend. Meanwhile Red Wine has an encounter with a shapeshifting spirit who takes the form of Pretzel, and we learn some backstory of the history between the two. Things get dark, maybe Red Wine starts being plagued with repressed memories, and the spirit begins to close in on him with the intent of draining his soul power. Suddenly, everything stops and Red Wine can think clearly. Gingerbread has slain the shapeshifter and is shaking ectoplasm off of her sword. Steak runs up seconds protesting that it’s not fair she runs so fast for someone so small(they ended up making a contest to see who could kill the most monsters), but quickly goes quiet when he sees how shaken up Red Wine is. They both ask if he’s okay, and after a moment of hesitant silence, Red Wine says he’s fine.
It’s the New Year’s Festival, and two groups of three have inexplicably been split up. Red Wine runs into Cassata, Steak runs into Pizza, and Gingerbread runs into Cheese. The conversations start off brief mention of the other two companions, they agree to help look for each other, and then it’s innocent fun from there. Red Wine and Cassata check out a weapons stand, have a brief debate about guns vs swords, then they check out competitive game stands like darts and the shooting gallery. Steak has some cute bonding moments with Pizza, who wants to touch his horns, and enters into an eating contest to amuse the little guy. Cheese shows Gingerbread the beauty pageant(which is an all-genders one this time) and tries to get her to understand fashion, which doesn’t work out too well with Gingerbread’s preference for mobility and practicality. Once the show ends Gingerbread decides to show Cheese the arm-wrestling contest to show something that she personally enjoys doing, some guys tease Gingerbread for entering and say they’ll go easy on her, only for her to nearly break their wrists in a show of hidden strength. All pairs run into each other at the food stands, just as the fireworks begin.
Gingerbread definitely needs one-on-one time with Steak and Red Wine. She has problems connecting with people as shown by some lines with MA. It's not like she was immediately going to accept these two as her new friends. There would be a lot of conversing and her getting to know them before she would open up. Not necessarily years, but more than a few days. Gingerbread really had no reason to befriend them even if she wanted to stay with them.
The full trios interacting with each other can be interesting and also a bit hilarious. While each of them isn't a polar opposite, they do have good contrasts. An event or story like that can be a simple way of getting into a deep dive of the character. Bonding over opposites, showing that there is more than one side to a character, giving them a personality that can be described with more than one word. If the pizza event was expanded into something like this, I would love it.

I feel like Pizza wasn’t exactly closer to Cassata per say in the earlier stages. We all know Pizza is kind as heck, and it seemed to me that he was just looking out for Cassata- Who clearly has a lot of problems hes bottling up, and they also literally found him half dead the first time they met. It’s more of like, concern I guess?
The only time where I felt they got closer is when Pizza got kidnapped by Whiskey, and Cassata saved him. In a way they became closer due to their joint relationship with Whiskey, and they’re keeping Cheese out of the loop (Not telling her everything) because they don’t want to hurt her
But that leads to Cheese wondering if she’s untrustworthy or whatnot
Basically the whole thing is a mess and they all love each other but the person who’s having the most fun here AKA Whiskey had to make things a million times more complicated
I mean it’s just my opinion, I would like to hear everyone else’s as well!
I think the best way I could describe it would be Cheese getting pushed to the side. It's like when you invite someone new to your friendship and the chemistry only works between two people. One person always ends up getting less attention and in this case it ended up being Cheese. I feel bad that Whiskey's horrible attitude had to put a split in the group.

Platonic anon here. That last sentence when you answered my ask hits the nail in the head. It's my biggest pet peeve of the game. Hopefully in the future they actually revisit the characters and add a lot more depth to them, especially their inter-personal relationships ̶w̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶b̶a̶r̶e̶l̶y̶ ̶a̶n̶y̶ ̶f̶o̶c̶u̶s̶ ̶o̶n̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶c̶e̶d̶ ̶O̶T̶P̶s̶ ̶i̶d̶e̶a̶l̶l̶y̶...
I only don't mind it mentioned in the balcony because it's funny and doesn't matter in the long run. Also, you don't have to pay attention to it if you don't want to.
Even if the characters aren't revisited, they at least deserve one more part of a backstory. Use it to explain something that's too small for an event but too big to ignore. A few paragraphs can make a huge difference.

What I find confusing is why Pizza seems closer to Cassata than Cheese. Those two were raised for YEARS as near-inseparable siblings. Then Cassata comes along as the literal red headed foster child and suddenly Pizza is always around him?? I get Cassata protected him against Whiskey in that one incident(or tried to anyway), but is that really enough to make him change favor that much? In my eyes Pizza and Cheese have always been like twins while Cassata is like that cool and kinda edgy older adopted brother. You admire the brother and think he’s super cool, but in most cases you’d ultimately be inseparable from your twin.
Of course someone wants to be close to a protector because "Wow! This person was nice enough to help me!" but it's definitely unrealistic to suddenly be so close. I can understand if Pizza was alone and became close, but he's not. He had Cheese forever. I get adding in a trio for more possibilities and combo powers. It's more fun that way. It seems like the power is the only thing that ends up well, though. In this group, not all of them. Cassata almost seems like his backstory what written in a "just fit him in" fashion. In my opinion, anyways.

I might be in the minority, but I kinda wished they didn’t separate Gingerbread and Cheese from their main group just to make more ship bait for both them and the male food souls they are leaving behind.
Like I would like to see gingerbread actually being part of the group and actually getting into hijinks together as a trio. Maybe I’m just so tired of seeing Red Wine and Steak being forced together and Gingerbread in the sidelines, thirdwheeling all the time when the trio itself has potential for so much more. Same argument with the Pizza-Casata-Cheese trio. Just let them be friends and get in trouble together without any ship teasing…
I want to see both. Gingerbread and Cheese having their own lives but also showing how important they are in their groups. Tell me why they want to stay. Especially why Gingerbread continues to stay when she was taken in during a rough time. Surely she could have left for any reason between then and now.
Is it weird to say it seems like the devs care more about their OTPs getting screen time than adding lore to other characters?

I played the Stollen Bread event on the CN server I got from QuooApp, the event was relatively easy enough(though knowing global they’ll probably raise the amount requirements to get something). Essentially you go through stages, get a fuck ton of apples, and exchange those apples at a special shop for things like gold, artifact tickets, and shards
I’m really not sure how I feel about the Gingerbread and Cheese thing. On one hand, the potential for them to be unlikely friends is great considering that they’re kind of similar in the fact that they go on adventures with two male companions and have a lot of hidden trauma. But on the other hand, it feels like they’re just pushing these two incredibly important characters away from their main groups so they can keep focusing on the two men and their hijinx. Whether you (romantically)ship any of the pairs being shown or not, I still find it pretty iffy and almost sexist. Also, most of the food soups are completely different people in Wonderland, just with similar personalities, how much can you really rely on it for characterization?
With Gingerbread and Cheese, I want to see them spending time together without any mention of the others. It's two people who are constantly hanging out with two "we share one braincell" men that need some time away. I do ship Red Wine and Steak but I want to see more than just them. I'm fine having them ignored if it means I see something new happen. If Gingerbread and Cheese had a side adventure it would be nice.
Wonderland food soul actions, I don't count them in canon. I liked the other sides shown and that more things can be done. It shows there is potential for expanding the characters and it's just being wasted.

As far as I can recall, the last time new Food Souls and old Food souls who interacted with each other was during the Cordyceps event. Pretty damn big convergence of a couple of Light Kingdom based groups. After that... Nothing. All new groups. Our next one would be Stollen's event but that's just Wonderland 2.0
The last Wonderland made me want so many more Cheese and Gingerbread interactions along with Bloody Mary outsmarting the other villains. We were teased with so much potential and then nothing. If an event like that can happen, I don't see why it wasn't put in the normal timeline.

We've been hoping that Funtoy would circle back and give more stories to their OG Food Souls but as time goes, we've only seen them make new FS to curry more interest for their JP server (mostly). We have over 250+ FS now btw. Also, I could be delusional but some of us have speculated that Spaghetti could have been more involved with other groups and was meant to have more backstory based on how he was set up across some bios but that never came to fruition because... Funtoy priorities. I really, really wanted story arcs of DesireT and HolyS just clashing here and there, or even a continuation of what happens after the Borscht skin event since it's technically the last story in their canon timeline.
I wouldn't mind new food souls if they interacted with older food souls. It wouldn't be hard to toss one of them in. Since there are numerous unknown elements, how can we be sure Mousse didn't have a deep relationship with Sweet Tofu?
Sweet Tofu and Black Tea have a history that was barely touched and I want to see something deeper with that. They met up in a backstory but it wasn't much. Black Tea hates Sweet Tofu and Sweet Tofu likes her. Tell me more and don't brush it under a rug.

I have no idea what’s going on in the current story event right now, I just want more canon Gingerbread(and Pretzel)development. Trying to make my interpretations of Gingy as canon-friendly as possible but I’m not getting much source material that actually characterizes her(outside of Wonderland, which I never really cared for since it’s not really the food souls we know them as in Tierra. Steak’s skin event was something but compared to the lore treatment he and Red get in their event cameos it’s not all that much) in Global or NJ :/ wish we could get those scroll story things with the 2D Live sprites like what the Chinese server has but it’s doubtful
Gingerbread plays an important part in Red Wine and Steak's lives but it's never touched on much other than how they interact. She went from being a person they took in to being a friend. There is a huge gap that needs to be filled with adventures between the three rather than Steak and Red Wine with Gingerbread as a side character.
Pretzel is dragging me down right now because he has unexplained connections. What did he do with Red Wine? Tell me more about who he killed. Give me more details with Bloody Mary.
Adding in new food souls is fun but some backstory should be added to the already existing characters in some of these events.

I’ve been thinking more about the domesticating food soul things. How many times did a food soul relent to MA doing something simple for them that it just completely changed them.
Say eating for example. MA wants their food soul to eat at least once a day because “Even if you don’t need to eat, it can keep you healthy” and the food soul eats to be nice. But then they get used to eating once a day and feel off when they don’t eat once a day. Now they have to eat once a day or they’ll eventually be weakened.
Humans trying to be nice and accidentally humanizing food souls.

I really, really want Gingerbread to have her hair be a living entity that has to be tied back or else it will strangle and eat people. Like, comedic potential aside it could really add to an almost creepy uncanniness to her. She’s adorable, but you still just know she’s not showing as much of her true self as what you see. Idk I just really want her to exude a bunch of cryptid energy
Her hair when released could look kind of like this:
Tumblr media
Or this:
Tumblr media
I would love to see any character with hair weapons. The hair could either attack or carry weapons. It would be a good surprise element to someone. We could have a Gingerbread skin with her Rapunzel hair down and wielding a shield.

Honestly fallen angels based off of ancient Egyptian mythology and embalming have such great gore horror potential. The predatory animals, the bugs, the mummification process, heck you could even draw inspiration from the Ten Plagues from the Bible. I would also like to see the idea of a world boss fallen angel based on the medieval Iron Maiden, something about that particular torture/execution device just feels like it has a lot of potential for something all bloodied and rotten.
Most fallen angel tribes are too cute or pretty, you could list those green pigs from Angry Birds as a fallen angel and it wouldn’t look out of place. Aizen is only 6’7” and looks like some guy you could beat up in a bar fight, Conchi is literally a little girl, and Spectra has all of these dumb and needlessly edgy skulls all over its outfit, we’re supposed to be scared of these guys? The closest we ever really get to something actually intimidating is the Uke Mochi Enhanced, and even that spends more time looking like a pretty blonde girl in a meat bikini. Same thing goes for Tsuchigumo, but at least Orochi looks kind of disturbing with its corpse-like skin and dull colors.
Food Fantasy’s general appeal is targeted towards older teens and young adults, and they clearly don’t feel shy about getting bloody, so why hold back on the creatures you advertise as being this big scary threat that caused a partial apocalypse? There are plenty of food souls for fanservice if that’s the answer, and even if you wanted more there are still ways to put sexy and grotesque together in a horrifically horny way(ex. Double from Skullgirls).
Prajna, a puppet that could easily be made demonic, looks like he hangs out with Pinocchio on the weekends and Sea Bunny looks like she'd sit at the edge of a crib.
I find Uke Mochi Enhanced creepy, but more gross than anything else. I would feel more concerned about getting drool on me than getting hurt by it. Orochi has a look on it of a face being sliced open despite it being a mask, so I find it decent.
With the iron maiden, Bloody Mary carries one around. Something could easily be done with just that. Blend them together. Have someone crawling out of it. Make it a person with spikes and spines coming out. Even have a human split in half or two stabbed together that attack by impaling you.

I saw in the tags that you wanted more mythology-based creatures and particularly ones based off of Egyptian mythology sooo,
I’ve always wanted to make a food soul or fallen angel based off of Sekhmet, the lion-headed goddess of both blood and healing formed from the eye of Ra. When she was first formed Ra sent her to kill the humans who to stop worshiping him because he was growing senile with age, but when her rampage went too far the other gods had to get her drunk and siphon out some of her diving power to calm her down.
As a fallen angel I would imagine that Sekhmet would be one of the leading fallen in Palata and West Palata, similar to Thundaruda Masters but with a giant lion’s head and more typically Egyptian-style clothing. Her skill set is similar to Uke Mochi, with massive AoE damage and some healing for her allies. Minor fallen that accompany her would include feral cats, jackals, organ jars, and sarcophagi possessed by the rotting, mummified remains of the dead pharaohs they hold. They could also have territorial conflicts with the Thundaruda tribes. Lorewise Sekhmet could be the corrupted spirit of a priestess who used to worship a long forgotten goddess of Palata, a patron of both bloodshed and medicine who would later be made obscure after the rise of Durga. Angered by this heresy, Sekhmet takes on the name of her patron goddess and vows revenge on modern humanity.
Sekhmet being a goddess of fire plagues would definitely cause massive AoE damage. She would be one of the hardest to defeat simply by translating her myths. Going with the game, she'd definitely be one of the "requires level 100" to even have a chance at beating her.
If she looked like an altered Thundaruda, I think it would be nice to have some jagged elements to her form. A big complaint I have about current fallen angels is how smoothed out they've been made. I don't want her form to be focused on being pretty or satisfying. She has the perfect style to be terrifying. It would be a good start for myth expansions.

So I received an email telling me a person had my password, which they did have the correct password, so I just had to spend forever figuring out which accounts were attached to that email and every account that had that password just to be sure no one could log into an account.
Luckily the threat they gave was fake so I know they didn’t actually send malware to my computer and some website just had passwords stolen.
Just a heads up: I suggest checking security on your tumblr because this account was connected to that email with that password so it’s possible tumblr had passwords leaked.

Is this a theory? I guess it’s not technically a theory, but I want there to be a higher class of fallen angels based off of biblical angels from Abrahamic mythology(Judaism, Islam, and Christianity). What were once already kind of unsettling in their design are horrid and broken monstrosities reduced to a semi-mortal husk for their choice of hubris. So far I’ve got Cherubim(the Lion/Man/Ox fusion not the little chubby baby cupids), Thrones, and a fallen Seraph who acts as the lead fallen. Parts of the Seraph still retain its unnatural and inhuman beauty, but its body is littered with old scars and open wounds, and its six wings have all be so twisted and disfigured that just the sight of it using its second pair of wings to fly makes weaker humans and food souls nauseous.
“Do Not Be Afraid,” the disfigured being flying before me spoke in a commanding voice, holding a rusted and shattered sword in a clearly dislocated arm. It was a common thing the angels in the parables my mother read would say, but this wasn’t like those beautiful and shining messengers of God I was told to respect. The top set of its wings, which covered the top half of the thing’s face, began to writhe and unfurl beneath the thorned chains that bound them. And as the nightmare’s face began to show and that broken sword began to spark alight with a hellish blue flame, I knew that these moments were to be my last.
“Be Terrified.”
I look at some of the fallen angels and find them cute. Some are disgusting, but none seem truly scary. For beasts that are supposed to terrorize and destroy, the looks don't strike much fear. Your idea fits much better with someone who brings destruction.
These creatures look like nightmares in their average existence. You don't even need a fallen one to terrify people. If you want an ongoing apocalypse, you don't want your "villains" to be smoothed out and slightly ugly. I wouldn't think twice about touching one of the dumplings. I'd question getting out of bed if I knew some kind of beast made of a human and multiple animals could be outside at any moment.
Food Fantasy should include more creatures of religions, myths, and legends. Not only would it be more interesting, but it would make more sense to the death and destruction story line.
