Always thinking about how freaking embarrassing it would be for Feng Xin & Mu Qing to see the Land of the Tender as each other lmfao.
(Not get affected by their scent or anything 'cause the horniness would ruin the thick, awkward atmosphere afterward. Just see them as each other.)
Like okay, you can burn them all as quickly and as violently as you like but then you're left with each other and the newfound knowledge. What are you gonna do then? Huh? What then?

Every time I remember that Qi Rong can canonically cook I just have to wonder how and why because as a ghost he doesn't actually need to eat (?) so did he learn it as a person? did he spend time possessing other bodies, if so, why? Even then, he seems the sort to always pay or force someone else to do it. Yet there he is, not only cooking, but being an amazing cook. Which implies study, practice, dare I say it - dedication - to a task that, is, a "commoner's" task.
I have to wonder, did he learn it from his mum? As a reflection of Xie Lian's (since he cooks do badly in homage to his mum) because they are foils.
Qi Rong's mother spent at least 5 years in poverty, before she managed to escape her abusive husband, which meant he probably had memories of her cooking. She was probably decent, if not good, at it.
And so, when he was in exile, alone and hungry, without anyone left to care about him and hunted by two kingdoms that hated him, do you think he started cooking to feel loved again? To get a whiff of a delicious meal made with hardly anything, just to remember that once someone cared about him.
