I hate how the only anti-war argument that most of America seems able to even process is "if you really supported the troops you wouldnt want to send them where they could be injured"; that speaks to such a deep cultural dehumanization and evil that fucking hurts to think about, like imagine thinking so little of another person that the only argument that might get you to pause before beating them to death is "but your hands might hurt after you do that"
