tomorrow (january 26th, 2024) will mark 3 years since i ~became a twitch streamer~ and 2 years since getting affiliate. but i'm not really much of a streamer anymore at this point. i haven't streamed in more than 2 months & i don't really have plans to stream anytime soon. it's still something i'd like to get back into eventually; it was a fun hobby that i genuinely enjoyed, but. i don't know!!! i don't know. 2023 was a hell of a year for me and i don't know where i'm going from here. that's all i can say

ok so i havent streamed in uuh.... more than 2 months....... but today is a special occasion because we are celebrating some BIRTHDAYS!

17 years old today: the nintendo wii, the only video game console i've ever owned!

also 17 years old, a wii launch title: the legend of zelda: twilight princess, one of The video games i played as a kid, one of The video games of all time

and finally, something that will be 27 years old tomorrow: meeeee :3

i havent been streaming at all lately because i just havent been in a good headspace for it. feeling bogged down by the cumulative weight of many small things. just Life getting to me, yknow

if you follow me on twitch and youve been wondering when i might come back: your guess is as good as mine. could be tonight, could be next week, could be next month, could be january.... i do plan to stream again sooner or later; i just really don't know when i'll be ready for it

personal update: yeah i'm kinda going thru it right now. and by "it", i mean SSRI withdrawals

(ive been on sertraline/zoloft for Years, & recently decided to try Not being on it anymore. so ive been gradually tapering off it over the past ~month and a half. i'm in the home stretch now & ooh boy i am feeling the Effects. the good news is that my withdrawal symptoms havent been TOO debilitating, and it shouldn't be too long before my body adjusts to being ssri-free and then all of this will be over!!!! yippee)

#ray's art #gradually tapering off medication is supposed to help minimize withdrawal symptoms. but it sure doesnt eliminate them #and ssri withdrawal symptoms are WEIRD. dizziness and brain zaps are big ones. such an interesting experience #ive dealt w/ withdrawals before due to issues getting my prescription renewed in the past.... not fun lol #it's honestly so much more bearable this time around because im doing this to myself by my own free will & it'll be over soon enough #& hopefully i'll be ok without these meds & then i'll never have to worry about getting this particular prescription filled ever again yaay
