You can always tell when a physical activity hits me way harder than I expect bc I immediately start disability posting. Anyway every time I walk from class back to where I park I have to sit in the cab for like 5 minutes until my heartbeat leaves my throat

You know I'm pretty sure I say this like every couple of months but it's crazy how I was literally born with five holes in my heart and my family is surprised my cardio is shit. Even if I didn't have hypermobility issues I'd still be a little messed up. Like even with the surgery the doctors said I'd probably struggle to be active. "Why don't you do sports anymore" idk man maybe it's the heart defects. "Why are you lagging behind this hill isn't that steep" idk maybe the heart defects. "Why are you doubled over clutching your chest after coming up the stairs" beats the fuck out of me dude. Maybe it's the goddamn holes in my heart they had to seal up so I wouldn't die by age 16. "Well I don't view you as disabled" listen I understand you mean well with this comment but it doesn't really matter how you view me. I had five fucking holes in my fucking heart HOW IS ANY OF THIS SHOCKING TO ANYONE LMAO???? Including myself. How was I so deep in denial my fucking chest hurds

#like I get if it's a little confusing I was pretty active when I was really young! But once I hit middle school I got a lot worse real fast #I don't know exactly why I'm not a doctor but if I had to speculate. I just grew. Heart has to work harder when you get bigger #and it's not like I didn’t have issues when I was young. They were just misdiagnosed or ignored #the hyper extension has always been there! I'd regularly bust myself up bc my kneecaps would slide out of place and my legs would lock up #I had chronic breathing issues and got misdiagnosed with asthma bc dad has it! #disclaimer I love my family they are a lot better about all this now but it’s been a ride

Hi intersex mutuals and followers I have a question: does anyone have any sources on like. Intersex symbols/culture/terminology etc? I want to continue the pride charms I've been doing in ceramics, and I want to do something for intersex, but the only imagery I really know of is the intersex flag and I'm not sure how clear a plain circle charm would be. Depending on the glazes available, I might be able to do a circle charm with mottled purple/yellow coloring, but I'm not sure if those colors would turn out well together bc they might blend weird. Basically I want to make something distinctively and noticeably in reference to intersex people but I'm not sure about how sorryyy

But yeah if there are sources, awesome. If you want to tell me something you'd like to see specifically, that's awesome too 👍

#disclaimer: I know not every intersex person feels like they're inherently lgbt #but it's also a community that overlaps with ours and gets thrown under the bus a lot #so I wanna make something specifically for intersex people #and I say terminology bc I'm not just making symbol charms #I'm making butch fem and t4t charms so it is not just related to the specific symbols

i am fleeing my abusive family and need help, as my only income right now is social security disability payments once a month that are currently reduced due to my living situation with my mother. i will be moving across the country to my wife and their roommates very soon, and need help with money for gas, emergencies, necessities, etc. any amount no matter how small would be immensely helpful and would literally be saving my life. thank you
