What does Al favor most? Biotics or tech? And how did he learn to use a gun?

I think he's definitely more of a tech, but his specialty is medic so... fixing stuff and fixing people. He's not the biggest on flashy biotic blasts or wild moves - his specialty is barriers and defensive biotics. That's partially because Bo is the Angry Pink Monster (her wrestling name against krogan on Omega) and she has offense covered.

He learned to use a gun in basic. He's a little guy, so big guns don't appeal to him. His favorite gun is a little red pistol he carries with him from basic on. It was the only thing that the Alliance could get back after he died. Bo rebuilt it because it's a pain in the ass to find a gun for a left handed shooter that won't eject the cartridge at you. Some things never change, lol...

my absolute favorite of my ocs' names is andraste because like. obviously. you can just do that. you can just give a mage the name andraste and the psychological issues start rolling in for free.

in her case it started as a tacky bid by a minor noble family to suck up to the chantry that went ruinously wrong when she developed magic (a totally unforeseeable outcome to her family, who could never imagine that they would produce a mage), but there are so many good reasons to name a child after the prophet, the bride of the maker. andras, andrastian - easy names for boys, too, those should be basically ubiquitous in southern thedas!

demonstrate your devotion, your assimilation into a dominant culture, your theological aspirations TODAY! name your child after andraste!

i'm holding this name out like it's free! you can do this too! name your protagonist andraste and unlock a world of religious trauma and extremely uncomfortable situations!
