additional comment from the anon: this mostly applies to things like smut or nsfw art. I see a lot of blogs that are 18+ and I’ve always wondered if people actually listen to "minors dni (do not interact)" or if they just ignore them.

iIcntly reread a fic where the author complained about how unrealistic it for Sozin and Roku to be Zuko's great grandfathers and I've been reflecting on that in comparison to my own family.
One of my great grandmothers was born in 1924, so this year (about 10 years after her death), we're coming up on 100 years. I think my baby brother is her youngest great grandchild, and he'll be 20 this year.
Compare this to Zuko being sixteen (and Azula only 14) when his supposed great grandfathers were old men 112 year ago.
There should be at least one or two more generations in there.
There's got to be a Toph is the avatar au out there somewhere. I'm thinking that Aang died with the other airbenders and then the next avatar was born to the swampbenders, but then proceeded to live a long and uneventful life in the foggy swamp.
I feel like more people should know about the Filipino phrase bahala na si Batman. quite literally, it means it's up to Batman. on a more figurative level, it means that you're leaving something to God/fate - metaphorically represented by Batman, of course.
big event that you haven't prepared for but you're going anyway? bahala na si Batman. major exams coming up and you haven't reviewed yet? bahala na si Batman. about to do anything remotely risky/luck-based? bahala na si Batman.
anyways, I just think it's hilarious that Batman is now a part of our culture through this saying. is this a thing in other cultures/languages too? let me know!
So I just saw a post by a random personal blog that said “don’t follow me if we never even had a conversation before” and?????? Not to be rude but literally what the fuck??????????
I’ve had people (non-pornbots) try to strike conversation out of nowhere in my DMs recently, and now I’m wondering if they were doing that because they wanted to follow me and thought they needed to interact first. I feel compelled to say, just in case, that it’s totally okay to follow this blog (or my side blog, for that matter) even if we’ve never talked before.
Also, I’m legit confused. Is this how follow culture works right now? It was worded like it’s common sense but is that really a thing?
rb this and tell me what ur accent is. this has no purpose except the fact i just realized i could have like... mutuals with cockney accents or newfoundland accents or something and thats just wild
