Painting frosting on the fondant ears did tone down the yellow to match the frosting better.

Strawberry and chocolate- alternating choc and strawberry cake layers, with strawberry, then chocolate, then strawberry filling between the layers. All with fresh strawberries. It all tastes so good too! 😁

I meeean ig I should stop reading fanfic at work but its so sloooow today! My manager (theres only 2 of us why do i call her that) forgot to put our order in so we are out of shredded and sliced cheese, coffee, yogurt, spoons, cottage cheese, cucumbers, and we have only a few bags of cheetos left that nobody wants. Like????? Im p sure Half our sales are grilled cheeses and coffee??? How do you just forget???

My most recent cakes!

First up the valentines cake was a chocolate cake with a cream cheese and maraschino cherry filling. This one was very popular-I knew it would be and made a batch of cupcakes too, and they still all sold within 3 hours.

The second one is actually a cheesecake. Made with fresh strawberries in the batter as well as ricotta for some more flavor. I kept back about a cup and a half before adding the roasted strawberries in to create the layered effect.

The most recent was the blackberry cake! It went over super well, though not as well as he choco cherry. I love how pretty it turned out even in its simplicity. It was dark chocolate, with a blackberry filling that was basically a small batch of buttercream with a cup of pureed blackberries mixed in.

Next week I'm doing a lemon meringue cheesecake (we'll see-didnt turn out well last time) as well as my nieces bday cake! She wants a chocolate and strawberry cake thats pikachu themed. I've got it all planned out.

The relief I get from a good shot day. One of the only times I havent had an issue with my right leg.

I did it like an inch or so higher than I usually do, and it was perfect. Didnt bleed at all, didnt hurt- such a sigh of relief.

Maybe thats been the issue the whole time. Just. It was hard figuring out a spot at first bc I have scar tissue I dont wanna try and go through, more so on my right than my left, so the left has always been easier.

Another bad shot day ugh

I really should ask my doc to show me again, the nurse who originally did it was shit, even had me using the wrong size needle at first.

Idk if it was the angle or the spot, but it really hurt for like 10 seconds, and now, a few hours later, ive noticed theres like. A red patch by the site. Looks almost like a rash pattern but isnt raised or feel different at all. If it doesnt go away tomorrow ill ask my doc ab it.

Now that i think about it this has happened before, within the first year I think? Except the weird red patch showed up on my foot so i thought it wasnt related. Hm.

When rossi comes back to the team back when gideon left, its the first time the team (barring hotch) meet him.

Yet in 7x22, while giving a lecture about the 'womb ripper' case, it mentions that after rossi leaves to write books, theres another victim years later, so hotch calls him in to help. But by that time at least both morgan and reid are shown to be on the team. So? They wouldve met him before he officially came back, despite what they said in the other epidode.

Unless I'm missing something, idk.

Whats the vibe on doing your shot in the same spot every week? My doc told me to switch legs every week, but 75% of the time my right leg gives me issues. It either bleeds or bruises a bunch, or just hurts like a bitch. My left only has issues like 1 time out of ten.

I learned today that now my work insurance (which I just got after aging off my moms in nov.) Doesn't cover my testosterone prescription, and i was rightfully angry about it. Thank god for GoodRx or I'd be paying $120 for it, instead I paid $27. (Which is actually cheaper? Than it was on my moms insurance)

Anyway, I was venting about it on fb, bc I originally thought it would be covered, bc I looked it up. Health insurance is through Highmark, which (from my research at least) says it does cover it. But I aparently didnt see the section in the benefits booklet that says they use a different prescription card (which is thru Everence) that doesn't cover it.

So. Anyway, I talked about how bullshit it was and how I was pissed about it, and my grandmother decided to comment "welcome to the real world, imagine all the old people this happens to all the time"

And Bc I was (and still am) very anxious and on edge and halfway to a breakdown, I actually responded instead of ignoring her like everyone usually does when she says some unfiltered bullshit.

I talked ab how I should be able to vent without someone acting like hardships are just life lessons, and that i should stop being a baby about it. I put in quotes "oh thats too bad! Sorry! I know youll end up super depressed if you cant get your meds, thats awful!" Bc thats what an actual person would say when something shitty happens. I said that I should be allowed to feel things without someone making it into a goddamn pissing contest of "someone had it just as bad or worse, so you need to just get over it"

And She didnt respond (yet), but my grandfather did, and all he said was that "something you can do is to knock off this BS! Your language doesn't make you a man"

As if I said Fuck or something (Which i do, often, just not in the post??) I said bullshit twice and goddamn once, and hes acting like a little bitch as if I have heard him say worse over a stupid little football game, or driving, or JUST IN NORMAL CONVERSATION!

Im not gonna respond to him and get banned from coming up for Christmas, but Tbh all hes done is push me closer to the edge. If I dont have an panic attack for some stupid reason tomorrow, I'll be surprised.

Edit: ive been informed that aparently my gpa meant to watch how i talk to his wife??? The way old people talk is weird. My points the same tho, he was being a little bitch to her earlier this year, from what i overheard my aunt and mom talking about.

Wow ppl really like my dinosaur cake, that post is my most popular in like...the whole year. Anyway, heres the past few months of cakes I've done! (Most are for work, I make one usually every 2 weeks to sell in the cafe)

-Neapolitan cake decorated like a sundae-one of my prettiest according to coworkers

-devils food with toasted marshmallow filling; spider cake for Halloween

-cannoli cake; lightly orange flavored cake with cannoli cream filling decorated w pistachios

-marble chocolate and vanilla cake for my cousins bday-used whipped cream icing for it and I hated it. Looks good though!

-same flavor as the spider cake, choc and mallow, but a coworker ordered 2 of these fall themed cakes for her thanksgiving (only one pictured but they were the same design)

-Gingerbread cake I made yesterday! I was trying to lean into the gingerbread house vibe. its all gingerbread buttercream too; except for the filling, thats a cream cheese frosting.
