When you fall in love with someone thats killing you, you dont just fall in love with the person, you also fall in love with the pain. You fall in love with every shard of glass that penetrated your skin loving someone broken and in pieces. This is what makes toxic relationships so dangerous. You become addicted to the pain, searching for something to reproduce it long after the person is gone.

We left so many seats empty

So many empty memories

The "wait I think I lost my phone can you call it, did I bring it with me?"

Unreserved tickets to distant cities

Empty hotel rooms with white linen

"How does this look on me? Today it seems like absolutely nothing is fitting."

No car rides to the beach

No foot prints in the sand

No "Hey look at this seashell its shaped weird, it almost cut my hand."

Forks and knives unused

Unscheduled resturant plans

No "I wonder where the waitors at, is that him holding plates in his hand?"

These are all the things you'd say, your ghost echoes in this place, "you think tomorrow we can stop by... well it'll probably be too late."

Too late it is indeed and too great to forget these things, once a star finally dies thats when it has the brightest beam.

So today we exchanged nothing, and tomorrow we'll exchange nothing,

But all the sweet nothings,reminds me of these somethings,

The time when you said...,

the time when we went...

A time that was beautiful, but will never be again.
