I was captivated today by my own "cabiNETTE of curiosities" and thought I'd share my "Hellish shelv-ish". My "display of decay" includes a plethora of senti-mental items I'm excited to over-explain:

Plaque Attack: the caustic coffee kitty along with the pretty, witchy lady (and 2 of the postcards above her) were gifts from Ma. I adore them because they're her perception of what my dark, kooky brand is, and though I might not've added them to the cart myself, they remind me of her taste, and it makes me all warm and fuzzy. The leftover Polaroid is of me from a SuperbOwl party one of my few, true goth friends threw. I love that freaking snap taken on vintage, expired film by a cool dude who's name I didn't even retain on the night. I just so happened to have a black rooster feather vest. I won the unofficial prize.

Fake Food Paraphernalia: that's a donut crown I make and sell in my store. This girl has even more talents?? It's my prototype, modeled by a black velvet skull atop an antique waffle maker that makes the most perfectly sized and shaped waffle that I also sell in the store. I've since retired it because, as evident from the overflow, this relic is from the pre-Teflon era and my memory foam sticks to it. I love it, just how it is. Both skull & waffle maker were amazing gifts by BFF Val.

Bookie Nookie: Do I read? Barely. But this love-y display includes one of the only genres that gives me life if not puts me to sleep: ghost stories. And, yes, I do have 2 copies of The Ethical Slut. 2 different editions, the first being a relic of the beginning but excluding the author's real name as well as the "single slut" chapter which spoke most directly to me from the 3rd Edition. They are both second-hand from LA's Last Bookstore, and they (as I'd HOPED!) contain footnotes and worksheets from other lost sluts exploring their dating style. I've read neither of them as I only consume text via the audiobooks that come free w/ Spotify Premium.

Always Falling: it wasn't apparent from this blog, I'm not kidding about how much I love Autumn. You're looking at an 8' tapestry of an amber Autumn forest, a spooky woodland lamp I crafted on livestream, a tiny clay, pumpkin (from BFF Val) and a 'shroom I painted on Portland vacation also with BFF Val last year. You have seen many a photo from that trip in the archive.

Candles: your Pumpkin Spice Bitch loves candles. If I ever stopped posting here, I may have accidentally burned my house down with myself in it as Ma has prophesied.
