It's my story, I am the target audience. Self-indulgence is the fuel with which I write. If I want a story about Itachi getting a good father figure who won't use him, a warm meal, and friends who love him I can. I will give this boy a childhood if it speeds up my probably incoming arthritis fucking tenfold. I just finished svsss and decided to take a look into some Shen Jiu fics because. Shen Jiu. And. This fandom as a whole doesn’t seem to believe in fix it fics / happy fics h u h? The amount of dead dove descriptions I’ve seen. The doves are the main cuisine of this fandom from the looks of it.

Why does writing fanfic involve so much math. Sitting here going “If Barret is 38 and Sephiroth is 30 in this scene, there’s 8 years between them. If Barret joins avalanche at 31, Sephiroth would have been 23. If Sephiroth is put in a coma that halts his age, however, at age 14, he will be required to stay in said coma for how many years in order for him to wake up when Barret is 31 / 32? How would this affect the ages ratios of Tifa, Cloud, Marlene, and Aerith in correlation to Sephiroth?” Oh f_ck off, I’d skip the f_ck out of that question on a math test. I like playing this fun little game where I use Orochimaru as an excuse every time I want to merge two characters without making things terribly OOC.

Kisame and Itachi? 0% chance of them having a kid. They’d never. But if Orochimaru wanted to make a nice lil sharingan-wielding vessel for himself? A little backsy upsy incase Sasuke is Sasuke? Mmm.
