You're fine, image id's are for blind / visually impaired people! So that those using screen readers n text to speech or whatever can understand what the image is!

Plus, it also helps out anyone with poor internet when the pictures won't load, but they can still read the captions! Hope this makes sense!

So! Quick update for all of my blogs as I feel it is needed!

So, I technically have a job now, and am just busy in general lately, so obviously I have less time for making and posting art

So basically, heres my idea, I'll post art specifically over the weekend to my art related blogs (this one, @princegay-art ,@starcasterocs , @dandelionenderman . which blog just depends on which I have relevant art for) and then probably have a few self reblogs throughout the week

Now to be clear! I do mean this only for my art, so! I may still answer asks, interact w/ ppl in general, and reblog posts to @starcastergay the whole week! I hope this makes sense, lmk what u think if u have any feedback

Now also! I hope to be opening commissions soon! I just have to get shit sorted which is taking a while :/ once thats done tho !! I guess lmk if y'all would be intrested in that too!

Uhhh and asides from that! I'm not sure how much I'll be posting to this blog! My interest in fnaf kinda fizzled out at the beginning of the year and hasnt come back yet, that doesnt mean im done with this blog tho! Just. No promises to be active! (I am working on a drawing for pride rn tho! :))

On one hand I feel like some of this outrage is justified. On the other hand if feels like this is apart of the very toxic mentality of witch hunting, and people are acting as thought Scott himself has committed a hate crime. The narrative went from "Scott donated to far-right Republicans, which could be bad and mean money spent on merch is going to the same thing" to "Scott Cawthon is transphobic and homophobic" in record time.

Being complicit and or tacitly supporting Republicans is not an evil thing to do. It's a complicated political issue that cannot be made as black and white as that, and the reason as to why someone chooses a certain side is varied and changes from case to case. I sincerely doubt Scott Cawthon is openly or aggressively anti-LGBTQ or POC: what he is, is a middle aged straight white man living in Texas who likely grew up in a community of similar people.

That being said, it is totally fair to critique FNaF's media and point out examples of unhealthy stereotypes within that media, ones that the author may not even be aware they are doing because they have grown up thinking they are okay. It's also fair to question why Scott donated so much money, and if that money is going to people who actively support white supremacy, and if Scott is aware of the affects this has on his audience.

tbh even if that update on fnaf reddit was true i still don't trust any of those reddit freaks considering they're always kissing scott's ass when it comes to any problem lol

i'd rather like fnaf and avoid giving money to scott. you can like something (largely depending on the media) and remain critical ^^

even if scott does come out with a statement on the matter or some kind of apology, as a poc and someone on the lgbt spectrum i can say that that wouldn't change the damage he's done. even prior to this coming out, this man was still paying bigot fuckers (even after it was well known; he's so involved with his fandom he should already know) and ignoring the blatant problem of racism/homophobia/transphobia in his own fandom.

he even added to the bigotry by adding/allowing racist caricatures into HIS work (el chip for example which HE MADE and some of the fnaf ar skins and a black character from the ff books who was a thief), feeding into the huge fatphobia problems (mostly in the books), and neglecting the problems in his fandom which add to the ignorance to other issues. his ignorance also makes younger fans think it's ok to ignore these world wide issues. it's moslty the white people who are waiting for scotts explanation, which if they're not affected they shouldn't decide whether to forgive him or not, but in the end it wouldn't matter.

it would take so much more than an apology to fix any of this. even if scott has some kind of explanation on the whole donation matter, he has still contributed to other issues and hatefulness which will have some effect on the future.
