*  madara didn’t know much of nazuna, nor valkyrie as a whole, during his second year and the war (beyond their themeing, and the way nazuna behaved in the past, which just felt all too doll-like for him, earning him madara occasionally calling him ‘pinocchio’ in an almost chastising way). what he did know, however, was that they were very much victims in the same way that kanata and ryuseitai were. however, madara had always felt that he and nazuna were similar in the regard that they weren’t fully involved with the war, yet still were in the blast zone and suffered their own pains and casualties from it. he considers MaM and ra*bits to be “sibling units,” since they both came from the war’s effects on their respective units. *  madara’s joking at kuro in shinsengumi aside, however, madara was genuinely very pleased to come back from his various trips to see nazuna no longer being shu’s “doll.” ra*bits was also a welcome addition to the school’s roster, and he couldn’t help but feel a lot of pride seeing that one of his schoolmates was taking such ready steps in improving themselves and growing as a person. in a way, he was envious of nazuna for a long time, because of this. *  nazuna is one of the extremely few people that madara will openly discuss matters of the war with. it’s this openness about the past that resulted in their most frequent meeting spots at ES being the cafeteria before heading to their main destination. nazuna doesn’t like to drag madara to rhythm link unless it’s absolutely necessary, on the chance keito might be around. madara, however, is an idiot, and will frequently stop by rhythm link anyway, because damned if that keito is gonna get in his way of loving nazuna! *  (featuring yours and cry’s kohaji)  while madara would usually be worried about kohaku’s heart with a partner, like any overbearing parent would be, there was very little of that when it came to hajime, because he knew that “nazuna-san would always raise his kids right!”  madara’s trust in nazuna’s judgement and sense of responsibility and very airtight, and he trusts nazuna to talk him down or give him feedback on his feelings, even when he doesn’t understand them himself.

“Madara-chin I don’t like that lo—..” Before Nazuna had even finished speaking he was being picked up, normally such a thing would earn a nice chop with his hand right to Madara’s head. But given he couldn’t REALLY think, as when he was lifted lips came crashing onto his own. Kisses from Madara always tasted sweet, they always made his whole body yearn for more ( or was that him being greedy? ) The blonde’s arms wrapped around Madara’s neck — fingers travelling into Madara’s hair.

Nazuna didn’t want to pull away but he could feel himself going lightheaded. Despite pulling away Nazuna let their foreheads touch, he needed a moment to collect himself. Besides he didn’t want to blur out something slurred —-he hated that his mind got clouded after something so simple like kissing. 

He wanted to enjoy this for as long as possible, with college and Madara’s ventures with DOUBLE FACE. Getting moments like this felt rare, Nazuna wanted more of this —-slowing down on sentimental things, going at them steadily to keep that memory burning and to keep him going. Nazuna knew it couldn’t be helped —hell he’d even enjoyed those moments of having to clean Madara up, even if that did unsettle him a little. Not to the thought of WHAT EXACTLY Madara was doing. But that Nazuna found comfort in something like helping Madara ——was that strange to find comfort in something like that? Was that what Hajime felt when doing the same with Kohaku? Maybe he should ask —no he wouldn’t want to scare Hajime if something like that hadn’t happened ( yet. )

Nazuna finally collected his thoughts and just hummed, he was content like this. Being held close to his beloved. Being able to sneak in random kisses without having to pull Madara down —that was ALWAYS embarrassing. 

“Madara, I like this —us, all of this so much.” He doesn’t want it to end, could they stay like this forever? Forget everything, forget the world and just stay like this. That was probably a childish thought wasn’t it? A childish selfish one. “I never want it to end,” he had to say it —he didn’t want to hold back on feelings with Madara anymore.
