Book review. 'O's Little Guide to Starting Over' The Editors of O. The Oprah Magazine. I came across this book during one of my low periods some two years back. Since then, it's been my go to book whenever I'm feeling low or I fail at something. This book is a collection of personal stories that inspire the power of a fresh start, I would say in every reader because you will find at least one story that speaks to you personally. For me, there are three favourites. The first one, 'Coming to My Senses' by Molly Birnbaum. When I first read her story I didn't take it seriously, because I couldn't relate to it. But recently I experienced same issue and couldn't help but reread the story and hoped for a similar ending, which came through. The second, 'Take Two Risks and Call Me in the Morning' by Bonnie Friedman. Inspired me to be a risk taker, and do positive things that scares me the most. Made me publish my first work, despite the fear of criticism from readers. The third, 'The Truth Is in There' by Caitlin Flanagan. Inspired a change of my mindset from negativity to positivity, and had me researching the work of Byron Katie; which is amazing by the way. I'll recommend this book to those who experienced loss in one way or the other and need to start afresh. This book will prepare you emotionally for the long journey... "What I know for sure is that transformation happens when you dare to be awakened to greater heights." — Oprah Winfrey. #oslittleguidetostartingover #bookreview (at Port Harcourt) https://www.instagram.com/p/CBxft-cJGHj/?igshid=lz60zxdsn85o

YA? Yes, I love YA Romance too. I read them when I get the chance and discuss them with my girls. Well, books don't go out of season, do they? Besides it's good to read the genre that you write. PS. No spoiler alert. FLIPPED by Wendelin Van Draanen. Bryce certainly got a taste of his own medicine, when attraction between them flipped. Juli Baker definitely was a lot to deal with for him and boy did he mess up with her heart. She's a relatable character and reminds me so much about high school days. The book is part funny and serious and the plot was easy to follow. Rating: 💫💫💫💫💫 I would recommend this book to lovers of Jenny Han and all things YA Romance. #ebooks #YA #yaromance #highschoolromance #booknerd #bookworm #writerslife #readwhatyouwrite #writerslife (at Port Harcourt) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_XwyNlpP0p/?igshid=o90wh16d737j

Would you risk your life guarding a strangers property? ‘I Owe You One’ by Sophie Kinsella is an interesting book, the plot was easy to follow with some twists and turns here and there. I read it past my bedtime, because I couldn’t put it down. The characters were relatable and felt real like people I meet in my every day life, especially Fixie Farr and Jake Farr. Rating: 💫💫💫💫💫 (five stars).
I’ll recommend this book to lovers of Marian Keyes and all chicklit books.
ebooks are fun too.

New to Phoenix Academy, Ifenna Ifediora faces a losing battle with peer pressure and bullies.
Not only that, she has to cope with academic burdens -a struggle she is already losing. She also faces lots of
struggles at home; she fights to gain the approval of her father, regain the love of her mother and earn the
acceptance of her sibling. In all these, her battle with low self esteem is epic. As if these were not enough, a nagging
voice in her head would not stop telling her to take her life. It was looking more and more like the best idea as days
went by. It would end all the sufferings or at least make everyone else see how wrong they have been treating her.
After looking at all the wrong places for love, one she had been blind to beckons louder and if she would only
embrace it and accept it as love in its purest form, it would be her chance to a life of peace and success. Will she?
