A BREATH OF condensed air escapes his lips as they part , to do what he isn't sure. he would be ridiculous - and further disloyal if he interrogated the order given to him by Father. his claws twitch at his sides , ice beginning to draw itself on the bottom of his diving boots as instead of wishing the world to be silent IT GREW LOUDER.

ITS HIS FAULT. he's led his siblings to their deaths. by his hand no less. she's asking him to prove himself by doing this one thing , this last thing to prove that he's worthy of the title. his mouth closes , falling into a thin line as he concludes that any exchange had been shattered the moment the twins fell behind him to lie and KEEP THINGS from Father like he had

LUMINE HC OO1. i haven't expanded much on the world lumine came from and her parents involvement in the world yet so here we go <3

prifaitry was originally an absolute monarchy that gave way to a brutal civil war that would normally destroy most of the planet   --  the twins are only alive because their parents sent them away before the coup which led to civil war under the guise of something else.  

in verses or interactions where,  I guess,  the planet isn't destroyed:  prifaitry would become a hereditary monarchy with one of the twins to take the throne once the king passes away.  some powers are given to a government below the main " royal family " to promote a better stable system.

the twins' father is strict and was general / head of the military before the civil war and now is the king of the planet.  his rules are less strict than what the country had previously.

the twins' mother is an astrologer, creator, mender and reader of stars within their system.  her power was passed down to lumine who is only half-strength due to it being shared and the fact that big bad at the beginning took her wings away and depowered her. lumi's celestial powers would be stronger once her mothers' hold on it goes away.

courting in terms of potential marriages is important,  usually reserved for long-life species due to the life span that prifaitrians have.  they last as long as stars can  (  a fucking LONG time  )

FREMINET HC 001. this got a little long so bare with me,

so. with implied confirmation through the thelxie's fantastic adventures event, ( my ) freminet suffers from ' loneliness syndrome ' which is effectively genshin impact's equivalent to real world depression / major depressive disorder ( mad ). as freminet explains, he's seen children within the house of the hearth under the previous director suffer from it and even die:

freminet: and from the cases i've seen, there weren't many positive outcomes. in the worst cases, the patient could even . . pass away.

he even explains how the risk factors of getting the syndrome manifest which can range from heredity to environmental factors. in freminet's case, his stem from his lived experience prior to being placed with the ' care ' of the previous hearth's director and then his experiences within the orphanage before the new Arlecchino took over. as he explains that those with the syndrome dive head first into fantasy worlds and proceeds to talk about pers and ' penguin town ' in such a fashion where it is heaps fantasy esque . .

freminet: well, i often think that pers only came to me because he realized how much i needed him . . so it's not so much that i made pers as pers chose me as his friend

freminet: ... i even had my own fairytale world much like that boy's. i was able to draw a lot of support from it.

and then expresses his comfort in that world that has been created ( in his mind / imagination ) as well as putting on his helmet if he feels insecure in a certain situation - which is also confirmed in one of his character stories & voice lines. ferminet needed a friend, which is why he created pers / accepted his friendship, and humanizes / cares about his lil buddy so much. ferminet needed coping mechanisms, hence his focus on pers and the lil fantasy world of penguin town that he has concocted and the reason he dives so much. in saying all this, even if he denies it a little bit, ferminet does have loneliness syndrome and has his own coping mechanisms to try and regulate it. even if he does kinda falter here and there. one of the massive strides that likely kept him from also falling into the dark like the other children he saw die from the syndrome was lyney and lynette. as well as the change of hands / directors within the house of the hearth. he's honestly alive because of that, especially after all the physical, emotional and mental trauma he endured during that period.

FREMINET HC 6. so in terms of canon events in the early days of freminet's time at the hearth it will mostly depend on the person i write with. if its with arlecchino herself and the mun is interested in working out something then, sure, yeah, crucabena was the previous director they both shared and underwent much tribulation with. the age difference isn't much of an issue since freminet could have been deposited into crucabena's hands as per the agreement when he was very very young - but still able to remember her to a degree which led to his questioning of his mother in general. outside of writing with arlecchino's and if the mun is not interested in working something out / or we go generic before we get into the meat of it . . we'll go with my originally perceived series of events now mixed with the canon that we do know. how i can see the events playing out is: * the first half of the full animated short * freminet given to crucabena but he's too young at this point to matter being anything of use just yet * peruere / the current arlecchino kills crucabena as per the the later half of the full animated short and proceeds to be jailed in snezhnaya for an indeterminate amount of time * while in custody another placeholder arlecchino takes over the hearth and doesn't make it any better * during this time freminet is older and what not, sees as the hearth is not getting any better with the placeholder and begins to curl in on himself but also being deployed for actual missions. * the lynette debacle happens and in the same night our newly crowned arlecchino returning to fontaine, killing the placeholder. * yay.

FATHER MUST MEAN the traveller. her or . . he could make a few guesses but none of them would change the fact that Father saw it as a problem. his lips sit in a thin line as he remained silent , thinking over methodically over every potential thing that could go wrong. the trial ( the first one ) that involved the twins was already a disaster , since their cover had been blown. the reality of being fatui becoming public knowledge was . . inconvenient at best for Father. with master tartaglia it HAD BEEN ANNOYING. Father hadn't been in a good mood.

HE LET OUT a sigh , though not directed at Father's words toward him , that alone he hoped she knew he'd never do. he would never disrespect her in her presence or on purpose without. he was more so tired , before even beginning the order given , due to how much running around he'd have to do now. not that he minded at the end of the day - it gave him time with the duo and HE LIKED THAT very much.

HE FINALLY NODS. ❝ I UNDERSTAND. WOULD . . do you want me to redirect them ? if . . the traveller comes through i mean . . i remember h - hearing that she was around . . involved in a c - case of some sort with MADAME CHEVREUSE. ❞ he knew. not what it was about , at least not yet , but if he deigned to bring it up the diver was AWARE OF IT.

there was a sort of trust that unspokenly lay between the father and the boy. whilst outwardly it appeared to those looking in that lyney had been her favored of the children , internally that title donned upon freminet. one of the very few children who remained by which had lived under the ruling of arlecchino's predecessor. living through such shift together , it formed a twisted closeness so to speak. it's why arlecchino turns to him to divulge her departure to rather than the twins.

his reaction is not to be unthought of. it wasn't as if their bond was something by which she made clear even for the youth. but her faith in his word kept her standing , hands laced together behind her back as the eyes stuck with red keep against his blue. what questions lie behind his mind do quarry at her own . . . what wonders pry into him upon heeding the news ? it was a trait in him she marvels           his stoicism. the utter opposite of his brother.
