#pokemon swsh #pokemon sword and shield #pkmn swsh #pkmn sword and shield #pokemon #gym leader raihan #duraludon #art #poke's doodles #SO - i drew raihan again im sry #anyways-- i wanted to doodle a duraludon then. i ended up adding colours-shading-etc #i couldnt get the hand fan to look right so. i did give up on that tbh sorry about that- #i. imagine that a duraludon would be... dangerous in the harsh sunlight... scorching hot metal huh--- #raihan is one absent minded slip of the mind from incinerating his whole arm lmao #he's using the parasol as a precaution- #if the metal on top doesn't get. too hot. maybe he'll be fine #that leads me to my other concern.............. #duraludon are made of metal - if the metal gets heated up from the sun does it hurt? can they overheat - how can they cool down efficientl #like - water = rust apparently so----- #they are /metal/ like actual steel and iron etc #at least - on the outside - i do not know actual pkmn anatomy and biology alas... #i imagine you'd have to take extra care of your duraludon in the heat of summer - #- just as you'd have to in the humid or rainy conditions throughout the year--------- #though - that probably applies to most steel type pokemon - not just duraludon huh--- #... do you think some trainers would use cold water or ice to cool them quicker- would it hiss at the contact if it was hot enough-? #if you used that you'd have to dry them carefully in case of rust or anything similar #i assume the pokemon universe has pokemon icepacks and cooling packs for different sizes of pokemon.. #some would be a lot sturdier than others - depending on how harsh a temperature they were used on perhaps... or if a pokemon has spikes- #-or rougher textures....... #... huh i think i should stop tagging probably

duraludon is such a funny pokemon to me like.

it was raihan's ace, it's only found in one spot in swsh, it's abilities either double or halve it's weight so it could either crush you in one step or be lifted like a big dog, it's 5'11, it has a canon rivalry with tyranitar that references mechagodzilla, it's a lighter, it's a building, it's gigantamax form is the london shard, it evolves into the golden gate bridge which is also a railgun with 600 BST
