Summary:

This was not quite how Aether expected his visit to Liyue, and its Archon, to go as he was roughly slammed on to the ground by the millelith soldiers while multiple spears were pointed his way. Not quite smart, in his opinion, seeing as if he was the one to kill one of the oldest and strongest Gods and then proceeded to drop them from the sky, which he wasn’t, he doubted that an oversized metal toothpick and few non-vision wielders would actually do much. But if it made them feel better, then who was he to argue. He was the one on the other side of those oversized toothpicks after all.

“Cease outlander! You are under arrest for the suspected assassination of Lord Rex Lapis! Comply and come with us at once or we will be forced to use any means necessary to take you!”

OR

Instead of interfering, Childe allows Aether to be arrested for the assassination of Rex Lapis and Aether figures it would be better to simply comply than fight since he was innocent anyways. This might not have been a good idea as different factions move to further their agenda and Aether might be collateral damage.

The same glow spills out of his eyes and nose and mouth and ears like some kind of celestial blood—his wings of the same light begin to dissolve as he turns around with stumbling steps.  I had a strong image of this when writing my fic, so. The Police Force asks for Principal Nezu’s help on a case that opens up old scars. Despite his teachers and friends being strongly against it, Nezu accepts the offer to temporarily return to the field, if it meant no one else would get hurt. 

Seeing as it was once more Internship week, Second Years Midoriya and Tsu are chosen by the principal to accompany him. What they anticipated to be a maze of puzzles quickly turns into something more sinister as they get front row seats to their principal’s past.
