Made this blog mostly to just stalk people and reblog stuff I like. Such as Takarazuka. And lesbian things. Bats. Old bestiary-style pelicans. And vampires and all things that have to do with blood.
Am aware that my name is a mixture of italian and latin,...
People on tumblr really.... REALLY don't know what "yuri" or "yaoi" or gay or straight or lesbian mean, do they?
I just saw posts calling Oscar and Andre (from the rose of versailles) a Yaoi couple... *facepalm* Oscar's a woman! That's straight!
I'm also sick of all the posts in the Oniisama E tag that label the very obviously butch lesbian characters (Kaoru* and Rei) "female yaoi." What does that even mean?! They're both women! Please just stop this nonsense already...
Tumblrites, pointing at a screenshot of anime characters: OMG they're so gay!
Me:... That's literally a man and a woman. There's nothing gay about a straight couple
Tumblrites: But the woman has short hair and wears pants, so that makes it gay!
Hi, I see that you do Takarazuka streams. I've wanted to get into Takarazuka for ages but I've never really been too sure on how to start. You recommended downloading cytube for people watching your streams, but I'm just slightly nervous because i've never head of the platform before. Is it safe? ;-;
Thank you so much for your time btw. Hope you have a lovely day <3
Hello! I'm no expert but I do think cytube is pretty safe. It's been used by many zuka streamers for years.
Is there a specific show you'd like to see or do you wish for recommendations for first shows?
There were some bumps in the road but I did eventually get the otokoyaku style wedding dress I wanted. My wife's face is blurred according to her wish. She makes a fine musumeyaku to my otokoyaku in her lolita-style dress by Angelic Pretty. Originally I wanted a tailcoat but decided to go for a poet shirt, velvet pants and a cape, inspired by the Song of Grief number in Fascination II - Neo Egoist. (I wish there had been a curtain to hide away the gym equipment.)
We cut the cake with my sword.
Caketopper was a White Rabbit (my wife) and blood-covered Pelican (me).
Instead of saying our vows in front of a cross, I made us a "Seal of Roses." This is because I'm not a christian and because I just think it looks cooler. The symbol replacing the cross is an alchemical symbol for bloodstone that a friend of mine who is a blacksmith made for me. I placed the roses on the symbol mimicking the pattern of the rose seals in the zuka musical Seal of Roses, which is my favourite zuka vampire show. I originally wanted to have gem-shaped fairylights inside each rose to light them up, because in the musical the rose seals are supposed to have gems inside them and they light up beautifully, but unfortunately I didn't have time to find fitting lights. The Seal of Roses now decorates the wall of our home.
Looking for patterns to make a zuka style poet shirt
As said in the title, I am in need of instructions on how to make a poet shirt. A person promised to make me one for my weddings but turns out she has troubles copying the design from just video clips and screenshots that I’ve been showing her. She has asked for more detailed instructions, especially on how to make the ruffles.
Does any zuka fan here know about sewing or dressmaking? Any cosplayers here? Any help on the subject will be very appreciated. Even if I can’t get proper patterns to give to the person making my shirt, advise on how to make the ruffles would already help a lot in this project.
Sorry for the low quality screenshots, I tried my best to get a good pic.
