Poly Relationship with Irene and Jennie
Both of them would be the worrier types
Like they will do everything they can to make sure you are comfortable and healthy
Like almost every morning you would walk into the kitchen to find them working together on breakfast.
And they would both agree to make sure your food was heart shaped because you found it cute the first time.
They both do the smallest things to show they care.
Note exchanging between all three of you is one of them.
Most of these notes are full of reminders to drink water or to eat something
they are always signed with hearts and XOXO
Irene would be more into PDA than Jennie
Her arm would be around your waist a lot or hang on your arm.
But both of you are also content just holding Jennie’s hands.
Touching and PDA aren’t a big thing to the three of you anyways, even if Irene could careless if people see her showering you guys in affection.
Irene is more for kisses where she is looking in your eyes
but Jennie loves to surprise the both of you with Kisses randomly.
She thinks it’s the cutest thing in the world to see you and Irene flustered because of it.
Netflix dates are a must.
The three of you would cuddle up on the couch, usually Jennie is laying across your and Irene’s laps as Irene’s head rests on your shoulder and plays with Jennie’s shirt.
You guys would start some random series, but end up not paying attention to it anyways and just laughing about the different cliches of the shows.
By the end of the series, the three of you would be asleep on top of each other.
Arms and legs tangled, shuffling to get closer when one of you feels a bit chilly.
Irene might be the first one to untangle herself to grab a blanket for you and Jennie before crawling under it and wrapping herself around you two again.
This relationship would just be a mix of soft, sweetness and playfulness.

Your girlfriend Irene planning your surprise party
It was your birthday and normally Irene would send you a text at 12am, just to be the first to tell you happy birthday
This time she didn’t, but you didn’t question it too much because she has had to work a lot lately
Instead you just got ready as normal before sending her a small good morning text with a heart.
smiling to yourself, you headed out to the cafe you frequent at, and you saw this strange girl that looked a lot like Irene walk out, but you put it off as you headed in to stand in line
as you got to the front of the line, the people around you started singing happy birthday as they gave you your favorite coffee and said you didn’t need to pay for it.
dazed you walk out and head back towards your place
but before you could get there, Yeri and Joy came out of nowhere and pulled you in the opposite direction.
laughing you ask them what is going on and they both said they wanted to take you out for breakfast and then shopping.
not having seen them in a long time, you agree
but not before checking your phone to see if you missed any messages from Irene
there weren’t any, which started to worry you as you followed the two girls to a car.
once in the car, you decide to ask them about it
they just brush it off saying that everything is fine, and that she has just been extra busy
“Maybe I should call her, make sure she has at least gotten something to eat.”
“No!” Yeri and Joy would shout simultaneously, causing suspicion to creep up into your thoughts.
‘She must be planning something big for my birthday then, that has to be it’ you would think to yourself
Spending the first half of the day with Yeri and Joy, eating a huge breakfast and helping them pick clothes, you still couldn’t get the feeling of butterflies out of your stomach
what if you were wrong, but then suddenly, you swear you see her in the flower shop you just passed by, but Joy was right there pulling you along as Yeri waited in the next shop, a hand full of clothes already displayed on her arm.
watching Yeri try on the 4th outfit, you lean back, “You guys, I’m tired can’t we go back to my place?”
Once again they are screaming no as they throw an outfit on you and push you into one of the booths for dressing.
Finally changing into the outfit, you could see how well it fit and was actually satisfied with it.
They have you come out and model it, when you catch a wisp Irene’s hair as she exits the store
“Wasn’t that Ire-”
“Y/N! You look so good in that!” Yeri shouts as Joy messes with her phone. At that point you felt done with it
“You guys, what is going on?”
“Nothing is going on Y/N, oh look it’s time to go!” Yeri pulls you out of the store after her
“But we we have to pay for the clothes”
“it’s okay, we already got it”
Heading back into the car, you notice that they are heading back to your place, which looks as dark as when you left it
Unsure, you follow the girls up to your door as you get your keys and unlock the door
right when you flip on your light switch, a whole crowd of people with Irene front and center with a birthday cake and a bouquet of flowers yell surprise before singing happy birthday
walking towards you, Irene holds the cake out and says “Make a wish”
instead, you kiss her on the lips before blowing out the candles
She smiles, “Happy Birthday cutie.”
Instead of saying anything, you pull her in for one last kiss as the crowd of people cheered.

May we meet again?
Pairing: Irene x Reader
word count: 1.8k
You go to look up at your friend only to find yourself in the middle of a field. A soft breeze blew by, and the flowers and grass bend along with it as the sun shines on them. It was a beautiful place, but it wasn’t your first time there.
You make your way back over to the now familiar bench where your name and a stranger’s name were carved into the wood. “Irene,” you whispered into the wind.
Your eyes scan the area and you can catch her again, turning around quickly as she tried to figure out where she was.
This almost felt routinely, although the girl was too beautiful and so you never approached her. You wished you could tho, but every time you muster up the courage, she was gone. She would run until she hit the invisible barrier and disappear behind it.
You’ve always wondered where she had gone, but every time you follow her, you find yourself back where you were before.
This time, you decided to stay for a while longer and take in the view. The sun warmed your skin as you lay down on the bench. You sighed, “what a beautiful place.” You turn over on your side, you fingertips playing with a flower that was growing below the bench, “I wonder where this is in real life.”
Just as you said that, you could heard a thumping sound in the distance and with your heart racing as if you were trouble, you rolled off the bench. Landing on your knees, you push yourself up and hid within the tall grass. Your eyes peeking through the blades.
You watch as a young couple come down, the way their eyes darted, made you think that they weren’t supposed to be there. Using your forearms, you crawl closer to hear what they were saying.
“I don’t think they saw us,” a light voice said between breaths.
“Are you sure,” a familiar voice asked.
“I don’t know, but maybe we should try to get away. A bit further?”
“How about we sit and rest? I’m tired of running away Irene,” you could hear the foot steps getting closer and then the creak of the wood where the two sat on the bench.
Peeking over the grass, you could see a better view of the two people. You could only see the face of the girl though because the other person’s back was to you, but your heart almost stopped when you realized it was the same face as the other girl you saw here.
You felt frozen when getting a closer look as her eyes stared deeply into the person in front of her. Even with disheveled hair and bright red cheeks, she was still beautiful. Your heart could have almost stopped if she ever looked at you, you didn’t even know how the person sitting before her was still alive.
Suddenly, there was the sound of metal scraping against metal and shouts of alarm that caused the couple to startle. The person whose back was to you was now turned around before wrapping their hand securely around the girl and leading her the opposite direction of you, disappearing into the trees at the end of the field.
With the sounds growing closer, you decided to hurry as you almost throw yourself into the barrier, stumbling just before it. You could hear a man’s gruff voice near-by that caused you to freeze, your cheek pressing against the dirt.
“I can’t believe we lost them, again,” the gruff voice almost growled as his words were followed by a loud sound.
“Sir, calm down, they can’t have gone far,” a softer voice said.
There was the sound of clinking before the gruff voiced answer, “you always think you’re so smart, find Madame Irene, or else.”
“But sir-”
“OR ELSE,” he almost roared.
There was the sound of scraping metal again before it slowly grew faint. Taking in deep breaths, you gradually lift your head up, careful of being spotted, before peeking over the grass. There was a tall, lanky man bent down onto the ground as his hands wandered around, pushing stuff into a pile.
Because he looked harmless, you decided to stand up, dusting the dirt off your body. The man didn’t even notice your presence as you cautiously made your way over, too curious for your own good.
You watch as the man lifts up the pile of metal and drop it back into a crate. As it clattered, the man rubbed his hands together, his eyes wandering around before they fell upon you. They widened as his hand shakily reached for the sword strapped to his waist, “you,” he sneered.
“Me,” your voice raised in question as you pointed at yourself.
“You peasant, where is madame Irene,” the man took clumsy and quick steps forward.
As he stopped a couple feet away from you, you took a couple steps back, “I-i don’t know.”
“Oh, sure Y/N. I fucking covered for you so many times and what do you do to me? Leave me here to die,” his voice became uneven at the end, “I thought we were friends, buddy, I thought we were- what are you wearing?”
“How do you know my name,” you asked as your feet pulled you towards the barrier.
“Answer me question first you betrayer,” the man pulled out the sword, but the way he held it with two hands told you that he was unskilled with it. Although, you couldn’t decide if that was more or less dangerous.
Ignoring him and keeping your eyes on the blade glinting in the sunlight, you try to ask another question, “where are we?”
The man angrily pushed the sword into the dirt before making his way over to you, scrunching up your shirt into his fists. He looks you in the eye before throwing you down onto the ground, “we are where I introduced you to Irene.”
He spat towards you, it missed you by an inch. You watch as he grumbled, turning his back to you and making his way towards the crate. Even more intrigued now, you followed after him, “who is Irene anyways?”
“Who is Irene,” the man ran his hands over his face, “she’s your fiancé and the princess.”
“The princess?”
“There she is,” the man said, hurrying past you and into the field. It was the other version of Irene, the one you saw here every time. Her hands shook in front of her before taking off, away from the man and towards you.
As if it were natural, you took her into your arms and the world slowed down. it felt as if you were an uncompleted puzzle and the person just found the missing piece. Everything clicked as her arms tightened around you and her head fit perfectly into the crook of you neck.
“Irene,” you breathed into her hair.
She quickly pulled herself out of your arms, her mouth creating an ‘O’ as her eyes darted around. They were searching for something, but you didn’t know what. As if there was a magnetic pull, you unconsciously took a set towards her, but she held her arms out, “no. I’m sorry. I-I don’t know what has gotten into me.”
Before you can say anything, the man took Irene’s arm, pulling her away, “come on madame, we must get you back.”
You were about to step in when Irene’s fist smashed into the guys face, then her elbow coming down hard onto his gut. The man fell to his knees, one arm clutching his stomach as the other smeared blood on his face. Irene crossed her arms, making her way back over to you, “I don’t need to get to anywhere but back to where I was before. I have a performance in 25 minutes and my girls need me.”
She turned to you now, her eyes softening as they meet yours. You felt your limbs start to melt, your knees becoming weak. “I-I know the way back,” you stumbled over your words.
“Could you show me,” her voice was gentle.
You just nodded, your feet pulling you towards the barrier, but you stopped them before you got too close. “I have a question,” you waited to see if she said anything. When she said nothing you continued, “I have seen you every time I have been here. Do you think- never mind it sounds dumb.”
“Wait,” her hand gripped yours, “do I think what?”
You looked away at the ground, “do you think we have some kind of connection? I might have seen two people who looked to be involved with each other in some way or another that looked like us, but an older version.”
Irene’s grip tightened, “I mean, I do feel a pull towards you.”
“You do,” you asked incredulously as if she hadn’t ran straight into your arms.
She nodded, “but I really need to get back.”
“Oh, right,” you sighed, a bit disappointed. Looking over at the barrier, you point in the general direction you have gone many times, “it’s right there.”
Irene followed your finger to where it pointed before looking back at you. She leaned in, gently kissing your cheek before pulling away, “thank you.”
She had begun to run in that direction, but with her hand still in yours, you pulled on it. Stopping her. She looked back at you. “Who are you? Is there anyway we can communicate outside of here?”
Irene shook her head, her eyes sad. “I think it would be better if you didn’t figure out who I am or where I am.”
“But, Irene,” her hand slipped from hers.
“I’m sorry,” she said, running again. Just before the barrier, she turned and called out, “I hope we meet again in a another life. Where things would be better.” Then she was gone.
You watched the spot where she had gone through before you heard groaning. When you turned, you saw that the man had gotten back up and was slowly making his way over to you, his face distorted in anger and agony. Deciding you didn’t want to deal with that, you raced after Irene and slipped through the barrier.
Once again your friend was before you, waving tickets in front of your face, “Y/N? Hello? Earth to Y/N?”
Shaking your head to wake yourself up, you looked at her, “what’s up?”
“God, you need to stop daydreaming so much,” your friend plopped a ticket into your hand, “I got two tickets to see Red Velvet next week. Wanna come?”
Too tired to fight, you just nod and groan a “Yeah, sure.”
“Cool, to be honest, I think there’s a member you might like. Her name is Irene.”
You almost fell out of your chair as your friend quickly reaches out her arm to keep you from falling. Taking a moment to calm down, you asked, “what is her name again?”
“Irene, I can show you the group if you want.” Now interested, you watched as your friend’s fingers tapped on the phone before she turned the screen to face you. Right there, her eyes were staring back at you. Eyes that were on a beautiful face that you knew all too well now. Eyes that you might be seeing again next week.

Harmonious Chaos
Pairing: Irene x Trainee Female Reader
Word Count: 572
Intimidation to Friends
Alone in the practice room, you take a deep breath and take in the silence around you. Lately, you have been surrounded by people almost all hours of the day and so you were going to take a moment within this quiet, calm place.
It was nice for a moment, but then the silence began to make you feel anxious. To calm yourself, you start to hum, your lips soon forming words. Your voice sounded soft as it echoed through the room. Once you finished the song, you found yourself smiling in the mirror until you noticed a figure behind you in the doorway.
You stumbled backwards as you turned towards the figure, bowing immediately, “I’m sorry.”
Irene stood in the door way, her mouth hanging open before she closed it, remembering to be the leader she was and needing set a good impression as one on the trainees, “what are you doing here?”
“I-i,” you stammered, “no one else was in here.”
“Okay,” Irene’s words came out harsher than she intended, “you need to get back to the other room, quickly.”
You nodded, passing by her to make your way towards that room, only to be stopped by Irene’s hand on your shoulder.
Irene didn’t want to let you get away too quickly. She heard your voice faintly through the door and when she opened it, she was shocked to see you. Despite you being a trainee, she hadn’t heard you sing very much. Anytime she were near you, you would become quiet and avoid her eyes. Now knowing your talent, she was more interested in you. Turning you towards her, she smiled, “what’s your name?”
It was strange to see Irene smile in person. It was the first time you had ever witnessed it, but you were also intimidated by her, and so your avoidance of her could have been a reason why. Nervously playing with your fingers, you answer her, “Y/N.”
“Alright, do you know how good your voice is?” You were speechless. She continued, “I would like to work with you more, one on one, if you don’t mind.”
Your fingers began to twitch as you hide them behind your back, “I-I don’t mind, but I have a question.”
“What is it,” Irene’s tone was cool.
“Why?”
“Why what?”
“Why do you want to work with me one on one?”
Irene shrugged her shoulders, “you have sparked my interest.”
“Th-thats it?”
“Well,” Irene paused as she looked down the corridor then back to you, “I’ve always been curious about you, but you keep scurrying away before I can get to you.”
Your cheeks heat up, “I’m sorry.”
“It’s alright,” Irene held out her hand, “so what do you say? Friends and partners?”
Your stared at her hand before taking it in yours, hers shaking them up and down. You smiled, “I would like that.”
“Good, also smile more. Yours is really pretty.”
Your hands unconsciously went up to cover your mouth before you pulled it back down, nodding your head at Irene. Taking slow steps, you stumble a bit towards the room, “I should really get back.”
Irene nodded at you, “I’ll get into contact with you later.”
“Okay,” you said before slipping into the room. The others stared at you before going back to what they were doing as you made your way back to your seat, unbelieving that the Irene had taken an interest in you.

Nightmarish Reality
Pairing: Irene x Werewolf reader
Word count: 967
It was a dark windy night. The breeze was cool as it slips through the leaves onto Irene’s bare arms. She had watched you being chased into the dark depths of the forests and you looked like you were in danger. Pushing more branches to the side, she enters into a wide space where there were shadows rolling in the middle. Leaning closer, she could see fur and as the shadows roll closer to the moonlight, she can see that it was a wolf. She can’t help the scream that leaves her lips that causes you to freeze, the victim hanging from your jaws as blood drips onto the grass. The wind blows harder as you see Irene frozen in fear. You are quick to switch back to human form, some blood still splattered on your cheeks and clothes as the victim falls into a broken pile at your feet. Irene’s eyes fill with betrayal as she takes slow steps away from you, tripping on the root of a tree. “Irene, it’s okay it’s just me,” you lean down to help her up, but darkness spreads from the corners of her eyes as her falls limp onto the ground.
A bright light hums above Irene in harmony with water as her eyes flutter open against it. Images of you with blood and darkness and a wolf sputter across her mind as she tries to rid of them. “That was just a terrible nightmare,” she whispers as she takes in the room around her. It was your place, she knew this bed too well. Her mind was confused on why she was here, but she pushed it away, making up the excuse of drinking too much or working too much. Her eyes scan the room more as they follow the sound of the water and fell on the door to the bathroom. It’s cracked a bit and she can see steam escaping through. Trailing down the door, she can see the shirt that was keeping the door from closing. She watches the shirt. It couldn’t be.
That was the same shirt that was in her nightmare, but not only that, it was covered in blood and fur. “No, no no no no,” her heart beat speeds up as she hears the squeak of the shower turning off. Her hands scrunch up the sheets, ready to push herself off of the bed. You were dangerous.
You walked out of the bathroom with the towel on your head. Comfortable loose clothes hang form your body as you pull the towel off. It hung from your hand as you catch Irene, her eyes darting all around. “Hey baby,” you say, taking slow steps to the bed. She slides closer to the edge, scared of you. You lay a hand gently on top of hers, “baby. Let me explain.”
Irene’s entire body screamed run, but her heart screamed stay as it bounced against her ribs. “Explain what,” she almost croaked, but she couldn’t have been out that long.
“Everything… might as well rip off the band aid,” you slide your hand under hers and bring your other one to cover the top of her hand, your thumb gently rubbing circles in her palm, “I’m a werewolf.”
Irene shakes her head, unable to believe the fantasy brought to reality that sat in front of her.
“I am, I know it’s hard to believe, but please stay with me for a minute. You know I would never hurt you.” Irene stays quiet. “Do you want to see my wolf form, it could help you understand better.” More silence, but there was a small nod.
You push up from the bed, your hand lingering on hers as you pull away towards the middle of the room. Once in the middle, you close your eyes as your body transforms, your hands landing on the ground as they grow hair and become bigger, paws with rounding claws taking their place. Your face spreading as a gray hue falls over your eyes, your nose and jaw now in view. You look over your nose at Irene, color drained from her as you watch for her reaction. Clothes stretching to fit around the new bigger body. She stays in her spot, afraid to even breath, afraid to set you off. After a moment, she slowly pushes off the bed, her feet delicately landing on the floor as each step feels like walking through molasses as she comes to stand in front of you. Her hand inches from you, fur just brushing up against it as the door behind her opens. Turning her head, Irene can see four familiar faces enter the room, unaware of the giant beast that is her love right in front of her and them.
“Hey Irene. You didn’t come home last nigh-“ Yeri stops as her eyes finally land on you.
Seulgi reaches out as Joy pushes Yeri back. Panic sets into the room, but one look from Irene stops it all. They stop as their attention jumps between Irene and the wolf, unsure of what is happening. Irene walks over to the girls and in a comforting voice she announces, “it’s Y/N.”
Gasps come from each girl, unbelieving that the sweet person they associated you with was a beast. Irene frantically tries to explain how hard it is still for her. Her whispered words are loud as she says that she wants to believe that I would never hurt her. You slowly shift back into human form, your clothes looser than before and covered in hair. The girls are frozen as you turn to look at them, but you hold out both arms, “how about we all go sit in the living room and have a couple drinks and I can explain all this.”

Pairing: Irene x Werewolf! reader
Word count: 502 words
You set the brown paper bag, full to the brim, down onto the table. Slowly, you pull the cans and bags of food from it and stack them neatly onto the table as Irene follows in with another bag of similar contents. She leaves the bag, made her way over to you and sweetly kissed your cheek. You smile over at her and peck at her lips as you reach into the bag again, your hand feeling the squishy plastic at the bottom of the bag. Pulling away from Irene, you lift the fake squeaky bone from the bag, “Irene,” a scowl built up on your face.
Irene covered her mouth to keep from laughing and tried to compose herself, “yes, sweetheart.”
“How many times have I told you to stop getting dog toys. I am a werewolf, not a puppy.”
“But you are so cute with them,” Irene giggled as she ran her hand through your hair. For a moment, she stopped behind your ear, but despite her temptation, just pulled her hand back and brought it to your cheek, “baby don’t be mad, plus don’t lie. You love them.”
“I do not, you are making me feel less as a human being. Am I the love of your life or your pet?”
“You are a werewolf,” Irene reached over and pulled the toy from your hand.
“That doesn’t change anything at all. I am in my human form, so I should be trea-“ The toy squeaked in Irene’s hand as she waved it back and forth in front of your face. Your eyes following it against your will. Before you knew it, she had thrown the toy and you were after it, your body shifting to land on all fours with the toy hanging from your mouth.
On your right, hidden in the hallway, the other four girls were giggling. Joy doubled over as Seulgi leaned against her while Yeri tried to stay calm to keep the camera from shaking. Wendy was on the ground losing it. Ignoring them, you turned back around and dropped the toy by Irene’s feet and before you can shift back to a human, she threw the toy again and after it you went.
Finally, you just dropped the toy with the other ones she had gotten that were kept in the corner of the room as you went back to the table. As you continued your stacking the can, you announce, “As I was saying, I should be treated as a human being.”
The girls all laughed once again as Seulgi and Yeri picked up a couple of the other toys Irene had bought you, waving them back and forth. Irene suppressed her laughter as she took the toys from them, “you guys stop.”
“Thank you, Irene.”
“You might tempt them, and we don’t need the house a mess.”
You growled as the girls left the room and Irene went back to putting away items, as if the embarrassing scene had never played out.

Anonymous:May you write 14, RV Irene, Scenario?
“One time, she punched me in the face. It was awesome.”
A/N: Enemies to Lovers scenario aye!
Sitting with the other girls, they had asked you about your day. Starting to talk about how things were going and how much better life had been, Irene had walked over to the group from where she had sulkily sat when she had seen you arrive. You don’t understand why but Irene has never liked you.
“You know, none of us really care how good you are doing,” Irene had said as she threw herself into the chair between Yeri and Seulgi.
Joy rolls her eyes before turning back to you, “ignore her. It’s only her who doesn’t care.”
You just shrug your shoulders not really knowing what to do because you had always looked up to Irene and still do. You will never understand why she doesn’t like you, but there isn’t much to do about it. The girls all exchange glances before finally changing the subject.
Irene took a secret glance towards you and as she saw you lean into Seulgi as you laugh and rest your hand on Joy’s thigh, she quickly looked away. Pushing herself up from the seat, she just walks off towards one of the other rooms without so much as a breath.
You watch her walk away, but Wendy soon catches your attention, “Y/N, don’t worry about her. She just, needs a little time to warm up you know.”
You shrug again, but Yeri wasn’t having it, “She is always trying to start a fight with you, but to be honest, we are all proud of you for not giving in.”
“Well…”
The other girls lean forward with anticipation. “Did you two fight?”
“One time, She punched me in the face,” the girls faces filled with a mix of worry and anger, “it was awesome,” you shrug.
“awesome?” Joy echoes.
“Well, it was a good hook. That girl can really punch. Remember when I couldn’t visit you guys for a week?” They all nod, “it was because I had a black eye.”
“You think that’s awesome? Y/N, She hurt you.” Yeri said in a gentle voice.
“It doesn’t matter, it was the most emotion I have felt from her other than the cold shoulder she normally gives me.”
The girls look confused, but Joy’s eyes suddenly filled with clarification, “you like her? But how?”
“I liked her before she had really met me because when I met you guys, she was the last one to meet me, and the way you guys talked about her before meeting her. I wish I could see that amazing person,” your eyes drift down and you hadn’t known but Irene was close by, hidden by a wall. She heard every word you had said and it pulled at her heart strings. She felt absolutely terrible.
Taking a deep breath Irene rounds the corner and heads towards you slowly. Her steps gentle as if she were walking on eggshells. The other girls notice her before you do and try to keep her from getting to you, but she just ignored their pushes and stood in front of you. The shadow causes you to look up and watch as Irene sunk to be eye level with you, her face close to yours causing your breath to hitch. “I’m sorry,” she says as she reaches for your hand. Standing up she pulls you after her and you can’t help but to watch your intertwined fingers. The girls behind you unsure if to follow or not, but Seulgi keeps them from going after you two.
Irene had pulled you into a random room where she leaned against the wall as you stood there nervously, “what’s happening?”
“I heard everything you said.” Embarrassment crawls up your neck and settles in your cheeks. You look at everywhere but her, but she doesn’t allow that as she takes a hold of your chin and you have no choice but to look into her eyes, “I want to apologize, I actually feel the same about you, but you were already so close to the other girls that I had really no chance. I guess the way you made my heart race made me shut down and try to keep you away.”
Your heart raced as she had started to lean closer and closer still until her breath is a ghost on your lips. Before anything could be said or understood, Irene had pushed her lips against yours and you both had melted into a passionate embrace.
A knock on the door caused you two to pull away, both of your cheeks were flushed but you were both smiling wide at each other. Another knock came, “We just want to know if you guys killed each other, what is happening?” Wendy’s worried voice came through.
“Nothing, everything is good,” Irene leans in one more time, “we’re good.”

Here I Go
Pairing: Irene X Reader
Word Count: 2 texts and 805 words
Irene had walked into the bar that was dimly lit with colored windows blocking the bright sun outside. The few tables that had been scattered throughout the floor of the bar had been cleaned and chairs were now placed upside down onto of them. You could see a young man slowly sweeping up the place, taking his time before the bar opens fully again, she guesses.  The owners leave this bar open 24/7 for the few sad souls that need a drink in the afternoon, but the place basically looks closed from 5am to 5pm.
Looking around some more, it wasn’t hard to spot you as there were only a few people lurking around in the booths on the walls. You were seated at the bar, your feet barely touching the ground while you sat on the high stool. You had a half empty glass next to you and your head was down and focused on your phone.
Feeling her phone vibrate in her pocket as she watched you hastily type on your phone, told her that you had spotted her before she had completely spotted you. She decided to wait until she got you into the car before she would check her messages, though her curiosity was battling with her as her hand hovered over her pocket. Finally, you had looked up and the two of you made eye contact.
Taking a deep breath and pulling her hands to come to a clasp in front of her, she put one foot in front of the other and made her way towards you.
You, on the other hand, had stopped breathing as she got closer with each step. You could feel your heart pound against your chest as you started to run a hand through your hair, trying to think of a way to escape because you didn’t want her to see you like this. Your drunken mind wondered why Wendy would betray you like this as you didn’t know that you had texted the wrong person yet. Before you could think straight, your hand had already closed around the half empty cup in front of you and the liquid was rushing down your throat just as a hand was placed on your shoulder.
Irene gently smiled at you and you felt as if your heart stopped, especially as she started to wrap her arm around your waist and help you off the stool. She was talking, but you couldn’t really pay attention being this close to her. You just let her helplessly lead you out the bar, where you finally came too as the late afternoon sun hit you.
“Fuck, it’s so bright.”
“Well, what did you expect? How long were you planning to stay in there?” Irene slides her hand from your waist to around your arm as she reached for her car keys in her pocket.
“I don’t know, until the sun didn’t exist.” Your hand goes to shield your eyes from the sun as you get closer to her car. Although you were almost stopped in your tracks as your comment had been blessed with her adorable giggle.
Hearing the small click as the door was unlocked, Irene slowly lowered you into the car and made sure you were comfortable and able to get your seat belt on before returning to the drivers side.
Once she was in, she glanced at you and saw you were texting again. She had to suppress a small giggle as she felt her phone vibrate, and knew you were still texting her, thinking it was Wendy. She finally pulls her phone out of her pocket to satisfy her curiosity, and is stopped when she reads the last few texts.
She suddenly glanced at you, and caught you staring at her. Both of your hearts were so loud that it felt as if she was playing music really loudly, but it was only the intensity of the others stare that caused it. She watched as you slowly lifted your hand and gently placed it on her cheek.
“Irene…” Your words are slurred and slow, “I need to tell you.” Irene just sat in silence, giving you the time to say the words that she has been wanting to hear for a while now. “I.. I love you and I know that you don’t feel the same and that is alr-”
“I love you too,” Irene interrupted.
“You don’t have to love me back and that is completely okay, and co-” her words finally hit you, “you love me back?”
She nods and then silence settle back over because your mind can’t completely process what just happened.
Suddenly Irene leans over an places a soft kiss on your cheek, “lets get you to bed with a nice glass of water, and we can talk more about this later, alright.”

Late night swings
Pairing: Irene x Reader
Word Count: 621
A/N: I’m sorry it’s short, but idk how i can make it longer.
Her eyes were sparkling as you let her talk about the day she had.
It was late at night and you both were sitting on the swings at the park near your place. A single lamp above the swings lights up the scene of you two, a girl gently look from the sky to the boy next to her who can’t stop staring at her like she put those stars there.
This was a thing you both did at least once a week since you both are busy and it was mostly the only time you had free to actually talk about life and things that were bothering you. Well, mostly you just let her talk as you sit on the swing just staring at her. You would take in how beautiful she was every time, but you had missed your opportunity to make each other as more than friends, and were stuck in what the kids would call the “best friend zone.” Tragic, but as long as you get these nights where you both just look into each others eyes as she lets out her stress of the day, you were contempt.
At least, you thought you were, but suddenly she has stopped talking, leaving just silence as you both looked into each others eyes.
“Why do you stare at me like that,” Irene had asked as she looks away at the stars, suddenly avoiding your intense stare.
“Like what,” You can feel a bit of heat rush over your cheeks as you didn’t know how exactly you were staring at her. You always stare at her and she’s never questioned it before.
“So full of love and care,” she started to gently swing herself, as if realizing the situation she just created and wanted to fly away.
“Because i do love you and care about you, we are best friends.”
It felt like time stopped and everything went hush as she answered, “but they don’t stare at each other like that.”
You feel like you have stopped breathing as your heart was for sure racing well over a healthy rate. She looks back at you and even though she just caught you, you can’t help but still stare at her. She was just too beautiful. Slowly, you let your eyes trace her face until you get to her lips and you just can’t stop yourself because every part of her is just beautiful.
Turning your swing, you are facing her and your body acts for you and suddenly your lips are on hers. She stays stiff as you pull away and push off the swing ready to leave at her word.
“Wait.”
You turn to see her still sitting on the swing, her cheeks filled with color that even the shadows can’t hide. Everything feels slow as you take a few steps to stand in front of her. She looks up at you and you both don’t need to say a thing as you grab the chains of the swing and kiss her once again, this time with her kissing you back.
Suddenly, you both feel the swing tip and you are on the ground, on top of her, your arms catching yourself so you don’t squish her. After a moment of silence of realizing what happened, you both burst into a fit of laughter before you gently kiss her lips again and help her up.
You both feel as if you have so much to say, but no words to convey what happened, all Irene is able to get out is, “How long?”
“Too long,” you say as you wrap your arms around her waist, kissing her entire face this time, “I love you.”
“I love you too.”

Red Velvet learning that their lover has powers
(Cold Edition)
Irene: Cold Aura- The user can release and surround themselves in/with cold for defensive and/or offensive purposes, possibly becoming almost untouchable and granting them various abilities/attacks. The aura may also give the user enhanced physical capabilities such as speed, strength and durability.
You walked into your shared room with an armful of snacks, ready for movie night. Joohyun smiled at you from the bed, her eyes lighting up when she sees her favorite snack on top of the pile. The blanket was suddenly up in the air as she hurried off of the bed to help you, but as the heavy, warm fabric lifted, it flew towards you. Caught off balance, your arms tightened around the snacks, suddenly iced within your embrace as it raced across the rest of your body when you rushed to set the items down gently. It all happened so quick that you hadn’t even realized you had used your powers in front of Joohyun until she was above you. Her eyes were wide and curious, but there was also a hint fear as she pressed a finger against your frozen skin. Quickly, the ice melted off of you, leaving you drenched to reveal a flush of embarrassment on your face. You looked away from Joohyun and towards the pile before you; the snacks were now soaked along with the blanket on the floor beneath you. With a scratch behind your head, you tried to smile it off, “So, maybe we should do movie night in the living room.”
“What was that,” she asked, her hands still trying to grasp on your luke warm skin as her eyes searched your body. “How did you do that?”
Flustered, you looked away. “Can we talk about it another time?”
“What?” Her eyes were even wider as her mouth fell open. “We are not going to talk about this later? You literally transformed into ice before my eyes, and you just want to me sit down and watch a movie after seeing that?”
“I mean,” you looked sheepishly towards her, “Kinda?”
Her eyes rolled up to the ceiling before she wrapped an arm around you. “Are you cold? I think we should get your warmed up and then we are talking about this.”
Your lips began to open, but she pressed her finger against them.
“No exceptions. Now come on.” She tightened her arm around you and began to help lift you off of the ground. Feeling your wet shirt, she glanced down and sighed, “We also have to clean up this mess.”
“I’ll do it,” you pressed a soft, chilling kiss against her cheek. She smiled at you before helping you choose a new pair of fresh pajamas and starting a hot, steaming bath.
Seulgi: Snow Generation- pretty obvious what it is  The user can generate and project snow.
With your headphones plugged in, you felt calm and ready to start training once again with your powers. Living with Seulgi meant you got less practice time, but when she left for work, you were given a moment alone to go crazy with your powers. You took a deep breath and held your hands out, your palms facing the room before you as your back was just inches away from the wall. You let your eyes close, taking in another breath. You could feel the deep chill of excitement run through you as you felt soft, cold dot land on your wrists. Opening your eyes, you were greeted to a room full of snow and Seulgi standing just before the door with a shocked face.
At a loss for words, your lips opened and closed over and over again.
She just watched the last of the snowflakes fall before she whispered, “how?”
“Well, I um,” you stumbled, heading towards her. A sudden fear set in you that she would be scared of you, but when you reached her, her eyes were filled with nothing but wonder.
She gave a soft smile, “Can you do it again?”
“Wha-what?”
“The snow.” She looked down at the melting fluffy ice, her fingers reaching out towards it. “I want to see it.”
“You-you aren’t like scared of me?”
She gave a short chuckled, “Scared? Why? Should I be? Will you give me frostbite?”
Still confused, you couldn’t help but smile with her. “That’s it, when I get this room filled with snow, we are going to have a snowball fight.”
“I’m ready for it,” she smirked.
Wendy: Winter Embodiment- Personified snow basically The user embodies and personifies Winter, which allows them limitless control over the season and everything connected to it. The user has divine authority over the cold, ice, and snow
She sat at her window, watching the cloudless summer night sky. She could feel her heart ache as the stars twinkled back at her. “I wish it were winter again, I miss you,” She whispered to the moon, remembering your face blushed in the cold wind as you promised to come visit her again next winter. With closed eyes, she took in a deep breath and then she felt it. The cold wind. Her eyes opened, watching the trees near her. They stood still and she was beginning to brush it off, but then the leaves began to shake once again before ice formed around them. “Woah,” she called out, pushing away from the window. White Snowflakes began to fall before you appeared standing outside her window with a wide smile and a gentle wave. She stepped forwards, rubbing her eyes as if she were in a dream. “Is this really happening?”
You stepped inside, bringing white puffs of air. “It is.” There was a nervous twang about your voice. “I couldn’t wait any long to see you, so I thought I would bring winter with me.”
“There are only a few more months though,” she answered, her eyes still watching the miraculous wonder before her. “How are you doing that?”
“Huh?” A sheepish blush spread across your cheeks as you let your hands fall to your side and stop the falling snow. “Oh, I-I, do you know the tale of Jack Frost?”
She nodded.
“I have smilier powers to him. I can control winter, all aspects of it. The ice, the snow, how cold it gets. Although my power is a lot stronger during winter time.”
Her eyes blinked, still lost in awe as she took in the small disappearing white flakes against her carpet. Her voice was barely a whisper as she asked, “Can you do it again?”
With a surprised smile, you listed your fingers towards the roof and a flurry of soft ice wrapped around your fingers before flying across the room. There was a giggled before it became full on laughter.
Seungwan held her arms out under the new snow fall you had created, her smile wide and her eyes closed. You watched her, knowing she was more beautiful than any winter you could have ever created. When she opened her eyes, they lit up as they landed on you, “This is amazing. You are amazing.”
Joy: Cryokinetic Creature Creation- User is able to create beings of ice or shape existing ice into wanted shapes and purposes. They can grant the beings varying levels of independence (controlled, automatons/programmed, semi-independent) and existence (momentary to permanent) and delete the creature once they are done with them.
She entered the room just as you sent a squall of ice birds towards the door. With a scream, she stepped back and you hurried over to her after shattering the birds from existence. “Are you alright,” you asked. Her chest rose and fell with panic. Soothing words slipped from your lips as you ran your fingers through her hair.
When she calmed down, her eyes watched you. “What was that,” she finally asked.
“It-” you began, looking at her. “it was nothing. Are you okay?”
“Y/N,” her voice became wary.
“I’m gonna sound crazy,” you muttered before letting out a sigh. “I was practicing my powers.”
Her face tensed up in surprise. “Powers?”
You nodded. There was a silent pause before you asked, “Would you like to see them when they aren’t going towards you.”
There was an unsure look on her face, but curiosity flashed within the twitch of her lips. She didn’t answer, but the way she watched you told you enough. You held your palm to a random space on the ground, feeling the rush of ice wrap around your fingers before shooting towards the floor. It began to build up until a smooth, see through puppy stared back at you then turned towards joy. She slowly made her way towards it. Then a laugh escaped her lips, “It looks like Haetnim.”
You looked at the ice dog again, tilting your head. “It kinda does, I didn’t even realize that. I guess it’s because you are here.”
She let her fingers land on it before pulling them again, blowing her warm breath against them. The two of you looked at each other and light chuckling wrapped your arms around each other. Being so close, the moment began to calm down.
You whispered, “So, you aren’t scared of me?”
“As if.” She kissed you lightly on the lips.
Yeri: Cryo-phasing- The user combines intangibility and ice powers to freeze the objects they pass through.
“Think fast,” Yeri called from across the room as she tossed the pillow your way. Panicked in the moment, the pillow past through your body before turning to ice as it hit the wall. You turned to Yeri, fear in your eyes just to see a confused, yet amused look on her face. She nodded. “Alright then. That’s interesting.”
Your lips opened and closed, but you were too shocked at her reaction that no words came out. You watched her as she got up and made her way past you and to the pillow. Lifting it up, there was already slips of water running down it and onto the ground as her fingers pressed into it. The hot summer sun peeking through the window already melting away the existence of your powers. The world seemed to slow down as you waited for her to speak.
Instead, she made her way to the sink and set the frozen pillow down in it before grabbing a rag and making her way over to wipe up the mess. When she set the rag down on the counter, she finally looked over at you. “Are you going to explain or just stare at me all day?”
Stumbling, you said, “I-I don’t know what to say.”
“I mean you could just tell me how you did that? Are you a superhero?”
“I wouldn’t really call myself that, but,” you hesitated a moment, never having spoken the words out loud. “Yes, I do have powers.”
“Can you do anything else?” Curiosity played in her gaze.
“Not really,” your voice became timid as you stared at the ground.
“So, do you have any like villains after you? Anyone evil coming after you?”
“What? No.” You almost snorted at her questions.
She pouted for a moment before she smiled again, “can you tell me more?”
Just as your dumbfound moment passed, she had to shock you again. Still watching her, you nodded. “Sure.”
“Cool, so does that make me your side kick now?”
“Do you have any powers?”
“Did Robin have any powers?”
With a defeated nod, you gave in and pulled her to the couch. Sitting closer together, you talked about the day you discovered your powers and how you have used them since.

Red Velvet’s reaction to their secret admirer revealing themselves to be their best friend
Irene: letters
“You have a letter,” Sooyoung says with a teasing tone as she dropped the now iconic red envelope of Joohyun’s secret admirer onto her lap.
“Thanks,” she answered, a bit distracted by her now growing curiosity. You had gone quiet a week ago, and she had worried that she would never hear from you again. Her fingers almost trembled as she thought about what the letter could contain. She let her index finger slide beneath the slip, popping it open as Sooyoung leaned in, just as curious. She reached inside the envelope, pulling out the small slip of paper, “photoshoot room 5 at 4:30 pm?”
“Are they finally going to meet with you,” Sooyoung asked, pulling the small, thin paper from her fingers.
“I don’t know, that’s about 10 minutes after my shoot,” her voice sounded far away. Her bones began to fill with terror and excitement. What could this mean? Was she going to finally meet you after weeks of asking? Shaking off the nerves, she looked down at her phone, the screen lit up with a text from you asking where she was. “Oh shoot, I’m late.”
“Good luck with your secret admirer,” Sooyoung called after her while laughing.
She stood in the now empty room, silence echoing off the walls as her eyes watched the time on her phone. She still had five minutes before you were supposed to be here and as each second ticked on, she found herself more and more anxious.
She had started to pace the room, distracted by her thoughts and before she knew it, it was 4:30 pm.
The large door to the room squeaked open, causing her to freeze with her back to it.
You slid in, watching her. Waiting for a reaction from her that wasn’t going to come. The sound of your footsteps were loud with each step bringing you closer and closer, your heart pounding in time with them as you finally let your hand come to rest on her shoulder, “Joohyun.”
Her shoulders jumped, knocking your hand off. Turning around, she came face to face with you, “Y/N? You scared me.”
“Sorry,” you said, feeling sheepish.
“What are you doing here? I thought that you would be home by now,” she asked, her words quick as her eyes scanned the door behind you, scared that her secret admirer could walk in at any second, unaware that you were right there in front of her. Silent and unmoving, you felt fear crawl up you. You also wished it would pull you through the floor and away from her as she finally looked you in the eyes. Everything finally set in, “wait, are you…?”
Your feet began to pull you backwards, the worst case scenario playing out before your eyes. Yeri and Seulgi had reassured you numerous times that things will be fine and now, in the moment, you are wishing you never listened to them. “I’m sorry,” your voice croaked, holding back tears.
Joohyun fell silent, unsure of how to react until you had finally made it to the door, turning the handle. She called out, “wait.” Your hand froze. “It’s been you this whole time?”
You nodded.
“Y/N,” her voice echoed, “you’re in love with me?”
Tears finally escaped your eyes, “I didn’t mean to fall, but-”
Suddenly, Joohyun made her way over to you. She gently pulled your hand from the door knob and into hers. Her fingers wrapping around yours before she looked back up at you. Your chest hurt from how fast you heart was racing. Not saying anything, Joohyun leaned down towards you, resting her forehead gently onto yours before her lips followed.
Pulling away from the kiss, she smiled, “thank you. There couldn’t be a better person to have fallen in love with just based on their words.”
Seulgi: text messages
Her eyebrows furrowed as she read your last text before looking up. Near-by, you were hidden behind a pillar, but you made the mistake of sliding your phone back into your pocket, revealing you elbow.
“Hello,” she called out, slowly walking towards you, but then you threw your arm out.
“Don’t come any closer,” your voice wobbled as you hear her footsteps stop.
There was a beat and then, “Y/N?”
Your heart dropped as your mind tried to analyze the tone of her voice. Did you hear disappointment? Is your mind just making it up?
“Y/N,” she repeated herself, “Can you please come out?”
You slowly inched away from the pillar, keeping your back towards her as you cliched your entangled hands to your chest. Finally, you brought yourself to turn towards her, watching as a smile appeared on her face as she began to back away. A laughed tingled on her lips as she suppressed it, “so it is you.”
You nodded, “I’m sorry.”
“For what,” she asked, making her way over to you and wrapping her arms around your shoulders.
“For pretending to be a stranger this entire time,” you said, looking away from her. “For scaring you with the first few texts from a stranger that knew you too well…. but I don’t regret it.”
“And why don’t you,” she asked, resting her hand lightly on your cheek to get your attention back on her.
“At first, I was doing this as a way to get over my feelings for you. I’m your best friend. I shouldn’t always be thinking of what it’s like to kiss you or be able to wake up to you and not have to worry if I said something in my sleep. Then as we continued to talk, even if you didn’t know me, our conversation flowed so naturally and I was able to fall in love with you all over again.”
You wanted to say more, but then Seulgi’s lips were on yours, pressing the words back into your throat as you wrapped your arms around her waist. Pulling away, she whispered, “I fell in love with you again too.”
“Again? Does that mean-”
Seulgi nodded before quickly pecking your lips again, “I have been wanting to do that for so long.”
Wendy: emails
Her laptop dinged before the alert of a new email slide up at the top right corner of the screen. She looked over at it before becoming more alert as she read the name of the sender. “Oh my gosh,” she quickly clicked onto it, bringing up the email. Usually these emails would take up three pages worth, but this time, it was short and simple.
Yeri sitting near her looked up from her phone, “what’s going on?”
“My secret admirer sent me an email,” she said as her eyes scanned over the simple sentence over and over again.
“Okay, tell me something new,” Yeri said, laughing as she dodged Seungwan’s hand.
“They want to meet with me,” she turned the laptop towards Yeri.
“Are you sure that it would be safe?”
“We already deemed that this persons someone we know.”
“No, we said it is more than likely someone we know.”
Seungwan shrugged, “what’s the harm in it? They are letting me choose the place, so I can choose some where crowded.”
“Where do you have in mind?”
“Do you think Y/N would be mad if I chose that coffeeshop that she has been begging me to visit with her last week?”
Yeri shrugged, “More than likely, she would understand.”
“You’re right. That was the main reason why I became friends with her.”
“And fell in love with,” Yeri mumble, not being quick enough this time to dodge Seungwan’s fist as it pressed into her arm. “is it a lie,” she asked.
“No, but.. she doesn’t feel the same.”
“Sure,” Yeri answered. Seungwan missing glint in her eyes as she pressed the reply button and typed in the address.
She sat in the back of the coffeeshop, subconsciously picking a spot that she knew you would love. Her knees bounced as her eyes scanned the place, wondering if you were already there or not, when the door opened and you walked through it.
A blush spread across Seungwan’s cheeks as she tried to make herself smaller, not wanting you to see her there. When you made your way over to her, she looked at you in surprised, waving, “oh Y/N! What are you doing here?”
“I’m meeting… someone,” you said, still a bit hesitant to tell her that you were there for her.
“Oh, same,” she said, feeling the heat spread throughout her entire body. “Who are you meeting?”
“Um,” your eyes darted around the room, “a person.”
“Do I know them,” Seungwan asked, unsure of how to continue the conversation, but also now curious as to who you are meeting. The sudden thought of you meeting someone here for a date though, put an uncomfortable feeling in her stomach.
“I would say so,” you answered, pulling out your phone. You quickly sent a text to Yeri for help, to which she only responded with: Just tell her you loser. I am not going all the way downtown to help you quench your thirst
You rolled your eyes, dropping your phone back into your bag before looking back up at Seungwan.  She had been distracted by her phone, rereading the email you had sent that morning. You could feel your heart beat increase as a smile spread softly across her lips. You had always imagined how she would react to your emails, but seeing it in person made your heart melt. You were just about to speak up, but she beat you to it, “I think I should go. I don’t think they are coming.”
Without thinking, you grasped onto Seungwan’s hand.
She looked down at it before back up at you, “Y/N, what are you-”
“It’s me.”
“What are you talking about?”
“I have been the one sending the emails to you.”
Seungwan stared into your eyes as they filled with tears. You were preparing yourself for rejection as you let them close shut, but then you felt something soft on your cheek. Letting your eyes flutter open, Seungwan was pulling away, “maybe we should sit down and talk about this.”
You just nodded, letting her help you into the seat before sitting across from you and opening up the emails on her phone.
Joy: Mixtapes
She had been walking down the hall when she heard a familiar tune playing within the studio near-by. Her curiosity peaked up, realizing it was one of the songs you made for her on the recent mixtape you had given her.
Each mixtape had contained a special message, each one towards her. They were always about how beautiful she is or how she shouldn’t doubt herself. So hearing that playing somewhere else, she began to worry if maybe those songs weren’t as directed towards her as she thought. Slowly, her steps took her closer and closer until she were right outside the door, the beat now loud and clear. it was definitely one you had given her before. Slowly, she turned the door knob, hearing the shuffling of papers as it swung open.
You were sitting on the ground, surrounded by crumbled papers with your laptop lighting up your facial features in the dim room. You had played your favorite song from the last mixtape you had given Sooyoung, trying to find inspiration for the next batch of songs you wanted to present to her. You did your best to try to make each song better than the last, but you had finally hit the brick wall that was writer’s block.
The sudden light from the now opened doorway caused you to push away from your laptop, your hand grabbing for all the crumbled pieces of paper, scared for someone to find out your secret. Your heart raced as you thought you were alone, but as you let your eyes look up into the shadow’s that was standing in the door way, your heart dropped.
“Y/N,” her voice was was a bit higher than usual, confusion playing on the end of it, “where did you get that song?”
“Well, I, um, you see,” you stumbled over your words as you pushed yourself up and towards her. Pressing lightly onto her waist, your cheeks heated up, “we should- t-talk outside.”
“I just wanna know, did someone give you that song?”
“No,” you answered quickly, clutching the hem of your shirt.
“No? Then how did you get it? Unless…” You looked away from her, trying to hide the heat that spread throughout your entire face. “Did you make that song?”
You avoided any contact with her as you backed away, mumbling “yes.”
“Y/N,” her voice still played on the tone of confusion, but you had mistaken it for pity as you looked into her eyes. They looked sad to you.
“I’m sorry,” your words were quick, rushing out of your lips, “I needed a way to express it and then Seungwan heard it and gave you the first mixtape because she said it was unfair that I didn’t let you listen to the masterpiece created in your beauty, and then from there it just because a thing where I make the mixtape, Seungwan takes it to you an-”
You were stopped by her finger pressing lightly onto your lips, “Y/N, it’s okay. You don’t have to explain it all to me if you don’t want to.”
“But-”
She shook her head removing her finger from your lips as she smiled gently at you, “maybe we should find somewhere to sit and talk about this. Starting a relationship, we need to stop secretly hiding from one another.”
“Starting a-”
“Come on Y/N,” she held her hand out towards you, “I think that burger place you like a ton is still open at this time. We can discuss it there.”
Yeri: Sticky Notes
Seulgi dropped off the empty coffee cup with a prominent pink sticky note hanging onto the end of the cup on table before Yeri. She looked up from the book she had reading, her eyebrows furrowing in confusion at the empty cup, “where’s the coffee?”
Seulgi shrugged, “read the note.”
Looking closer at the pink note, she recognized both your hand writing and your signature I’s that were dotted with hearts.
Excitement ran through her veins as she dropped the book, leaving it haphazardly opened as she grabbed the cup and pulled off the note, rereading it again. She couldn’t believe it.
Hurrying out of the room, she left Seulgi sitting there, smiling as she knows that she will finally not have to deal with the two of you obliviously pining after each other.
Making it to the Starbucks that she was familiar with, she pushed the door open, her eyes searching quickly for who she thought could be her secret admirer. In her rush, she scanned over you without a second thought. It was only when she decided to see if there was anyone sitting alone with two cups of coffee that she noticed that you were the only one. Her eyes met yours. Her heart began to beat faster as she tried to explain why you were there.
At first, she thought that her secret admirer had gotten scared, recognized you as her best friend and asked you to wait with her coffee, but then she saw the way your smile twitched in worry as you waved over at her. It all sunk in. You were her secret admirer.
She made her way over to you, each step feeling slow and unmoving as she became nervous. She was ready to make her move to get over you so quickly. Finally thinking she had found the opportunity to get over her crush when the notes first started appearing. She let herself fall in love with this person, oblivious to the reality. It had been your hand writing. She always knew she recognized it, but yet she continued to ignore it.
Standing before you, she breathlessly said, “hi,” before falling silent. She felt awkward and unsure of what to do.
You slowly pushed the coffee towards her, “here’s your usual.”
“Thank you,” she said her eyes never leaving yours. “So…”
“Yeah,” your eyes sparkled, curious to what she might say about the situation.
“it was you this entire time?”
You nodded, “it was actually Seulgi’s idea when I refused to confess to you.” A blush shone on your cheeks as you looked down at you own coffee, scratching the back of your neck.
“Wait, she knew?”
You nodded.
“Did she- did she ever tell you about me?”
You nodded again.
“So even knowing that I felt the same, you still couldn’t confess?”
“Did you know about my feelings,” you retaliated quickly before looking away. You mumbled, “sorry.”
Yeri thought back on those late nights where she kept Seulgi up, “she never directly said it…”
“But she hinted at it,” you finished her thought. She nodded now.
“I just thought it was her trying to encourage me,” Yeri laughed gently, “I thought there was no way you ever like someone like me.”
“Someone like you, have you ever looked at yourself or met yourself? You are one of the nicest, most beautiful people to exist.”
Yeri’s cheeks heated up as she looked down, “but-”
“People on the internet are stupid. If you let me, I would like to show you how amazing you really are.”
Her eyes flashed with amusement for a quick second, “look at who is brave now.”
“I am. Miss, Kim Yerim, will you be my girlfriend?”
Her lips spread into a smile, suppressing a laugh, “yes, I would love that.”

Red Velvet’s reaction to their girlfriend being shipped with another idol in an interview + more
The Interview
You sat down next to the idol, your hands fidgeting as you waited for the interview to start. The live audience talking cheerily with one another in the background as you focused on what you wanted to say. The idol had taken notice of your movements and took your hands into hers. Looking deep into your eyes, she began to whisper calming reassurances and you felt your heart beat to slow down as you nodded along to their words. Neither of you heard the crowd not that far away shouting out a weird name as the host made his way onto the stage. He saw the two of you and quickly gestured to the camera man to get a shot of what was happening.
The idol finally pulled away after one more reassurance that you will be fine and say the right things and you both turned back towards the crowd that were cheering and booing. You both looked confused until the interviewer sat down before you two, “that was quite a scene there. Are you two close?”
Still confused, you titled your head saying, “yeah. While working on the album we’ve grown close. She’s like a sister to me.”
“A sister,” the interviewer asked in a sarcastic tone.
You were about to ask why he said it like that when the idol interrupted you, “could we talk about our collaboration? It’s why we are here aren't’ we?”
The interviewer was left speechless for a moment before clearing his throat, “alright.”
Irene: Jisoo
She had been backstage in the dressing room, the TV on and ready for her to watch your interview when it started. She had come along with you as support for your first interview. You had been nervous about it and she wanted to be there for you. She had been paying attention to her phone that she almost didn’t notice the interview was on until she glanced back up, catching the last few seconds of Jisoo consoling you. The shouts of your ship name with Jisoo overpowering your mics, making it hard to hear what you two were saying to each other. It was enough though, the way she held onto your hands. Irene just didn’t think she could make it through while watching the rest of your interview as her jealousy and worry began to flame up.
When the interview ended and you came back into the dressing room, you saw Irene playing on her phone, the tv off. Trying to shake off the nerves, you asked, “what did you think of my interview?”
“It was really good,” Irene said, though the bitterness was apparent in her voice as she scrolls past another post talking about how cute you and Jisoo were, “you did really good.”
Speechless, you just nodded and walked over to the dresser.
The silence was killing Irene and she couldn’t take it, “so how close are you and Jisoo?”
“She’s like a sister to me, she has helped me through some things during this collaboration.”
“Wait, so you two aren’t…”
“Aren’t what?”
“Dating?”
“Babe, I’m dating you,” you chuckled as you made your way over and kissed the top of her forehead, “so, did you really watch the interview.” Irene’s silence answered for her. Sighing, you run your hand through her hair, “it’s alright. How about we get some dinner and then we can watch it together?”
Seulgi: Amber
She had been at home as she waited for your interview to come on. Her fingers tapping against the coffee table before her, both excited and nervous for you. it was your first interview that she didn’t get to go with you for, but you were with Amber and she trusted Amber to take care of you.
The commercial had finally ended and she almost stopped when she saw what was on screen, but shook it off because she trusted the both of you and knew you wouldn’t do that to her. Although the way you two handled the questions started to make her waver. Her fingers reached for the remote, the calling of your name jumbled with Amber’s also felt like too much, but instead she tightened her fingers into a fist and sat through the rest of the interview, despite the ship name for you and Amber chanting in the back of her mind.
Once it was over, she quickly shut off the T.V. and fell back against the couch. She felt exhausted.
When you opened the door, you saw Seulgi asleep on the couch. Her arms tight around a pillow. Despite being asleep, she didn’t look peaceful as her head began to shake. She had begun to say a word over and over again and it took you a moment to realize it was the word that the fans had been chanting at you and Amber. Unsure of what to do, you just gently pull the pillow from under her arms. She reached out for a moment, but when her fingertips brushed against you, her eyes shot open. “Y/N,” her voice croaked from sleep.
“I’m here, don’t worry,” you said as you ran your hands through her hair, “go back to sleep babe.”
Seulgi shook her head, her tired mind functioning slowly, “I- I need to ask you something.”
“What is it?”
Her eyes began to flutter shut, “there’s nothing going on between you and Amber right?”
“No, we are just friends.”
“Good,” Seulgi said as she let her eyes slide back shut into a more peaceful sleep.
Wendy: Sunmi
She had invited the girls over to help bake a cake in celebration for the release of your collaboration with Sunmi. Just as they were getting the ingredients together, Yeri hurried in with her laptop, resting it on the unused counter with your interview pulled up. It hadn’t started yet, but seeing the time on top right corner of Yeri’s laptop, it was almost time. Still continuing to pull ingredients together and throwing the right amount of dry ingredients in the bowl, the interview started, but Wendy was still reading the box she held and the start almost went unnoticed by her when Seulgi gasped out loud. Wendy looked up to see you and Sunmi holding hands and looking into each other’s eyes. Just as the road began to chant the ship name of you and Sunmi, Yeri quickly shut off her laptop.
Wendy mumbled the ship name as she continued to stir the dry ingredients. The other girls watched her, but she looked up at them, smiling, “we should get this cake done quickly. Right? We already have it started.”
Not knowing what to do, the girls continued to help Wendy with the cake, but every time they passed by her, they would gently squeeze her arm or rub her back.
It was later that day. The girls had left and Wendy was just pulling the cake out of the oven to cool when you had walked in.
Smelling the aroma of the sweet dessert, you followed it into the kitchen to see Wendy just staring at the cake. You make your way over to her, pressing a kiss to her cheek, “hey sweetheart. How has your day been?”
“Fine,” Wendy said, her voice sounding strained.
You find your way behind her, pulling on her waist as you rest your head on her shoulder, “what is the cake for?”
Wendy quickly pulls away from you, leaving you lost. “Nothing really, just felt like baking. How did your interview go?”
“You didn’t watch it,” you asked with a small frown.
“Got a bit caught up in baking,” Wendy nervously laughed.
“Oh, it went well. The beginning was hectic, but it got better.”
“How’s sunmi?”
“She seemed fine,” you shrugged, making your way over to the fridge and pulling out a cool beverage.
“That’s good, you two seem close,” bitterness dripped off her voice.
“She’s a good friend, but babe, you sound jealous.”
“I’m not.”
“Alright,” you state, walking away.
“Hey,” she yelled. You looked behind you with an eyebrow raised, “we need to eat this cake.”
You smiled, shaking your head as you made your way back over to her, kissing her cheek, “I love only you.”
Joy: CL
It was just before her photo shoot when you had your interview and she had it on and ready to go before it was her turn for the shoot. Right when she saw you and CL and the way you two sat, accompanied with the fans screaming and calling out a jumbled version of your two names, she right away turned off her phone. Letting out a deep breath, she could feel her anger rising up as she tried to push it back down.
Suddenly there was a lady next to her, “sorry to bother, but are you ready?”
She would take a deep breath before shaking her hands and nodding. The lady led her away to the cameras where for the next hour, her poses were fierce, exaggerated by the thought of you and CL in the back of her mind.
Whens she finally got home, you were already there, resting on the couch. You looked up from your spot, greeting her, “hey babe. How was your day?” Joy just hummed as she walked past you to the kitchen. You were taken aback by that and quickly hopped off the couch and made your way to the kitchen. You open the fridge, your eyes scanning it, “bad day? I can make you anything you want for dinner.”
“I’m good,” joy answered in a fake cheery voice. She cleared her through, “I think I’m just gonna sleep early.”
“Want me to join you,” you said in a flirtatious voice, lowing your eye lids in a sultry manner. You began to circle your arms around her waist, but she pulled away.
“Not tonight. I want to be alone.”
“Come on babe, there’s something wrong,” you slip your hand into hers, “are you sure you don’t want to talk about it.”
“I’m good.” Then a thought slipped past her mind and out her lips, “why don’t you go and make sure Chaerin had a good day.”
You took a step back, shocked by her words, “why would I do that before checking up on my girlfriend.”
“The two of you are close, right?”
“Yeah, she’s a good friend, but I care more about how you are feeling today. What’s the matter baby?”
“You’re just friends,” Joy asked incredulously.
“Yes, only friends.” Then it finally hit you, “are you jealous because of the interview?”
“And if I was?”
“I’d tell you that I am only in love with you and there is no one you need to worry about,” you say, wrapping your arms around her waist again, this time she lets you.
“Am I?”
“Yes,” you mumbles, pressing a kiss to the top of her head, “now let’s go to bed.”
Yeri: Taeyeon
She was relaxing in her hotel room as she waited for your interview to come on. She was excited and sent you a message of encouragement because she just knew you were going to do better than you thought. Her laptop buffered just as your interview began and before the picture came through, the sound did and all she heard was what sounded like your’s and Taeyeon’s names. She leaned closer, trying to make out more of what they were saying when the picture finally came through.
Her eyes were wide as she watched you and Taeyeon hold hands while looking into each others eyes. Taeyeon looked like she was whispering something to you and you nodded.
Yeri couldn’t help the jealousy that started to bubble up in her, but she tried to push it down and continue watching.
It was the way the first question was handled that set her mind into imagining the worst possible scenario. Yeri shook her head, “she isn’t cheating on me. There’s no way,” but even as she said this, she couldn’t bring herself to watch the rest of the interview.
The next day after she got off the plane, she found you were waiting. She made her way to you, but there was already an awkward, unsure air before she was even five feet away from you. You could feel it as well and began to hop from one foot to the other as you waited for her to get closer, pulling the bouquet of flowers from behind your back. You smiled at her, holding them towards her, “welcome home baby. I missed you.”
Yeri wanted to ask the questions that had been haunting her all night as she ignored your texts and calls. Instead she took the bouquet, returning your smile, “I miss you too.”
She could see the relief as your shoulders visibly relaxed. You wrapped your hand around hers, “shall we get home?”
Yeri nodded.
In the car though, she finally set off, “are you cheating on me?”
You almost choked on your water as she asked that. After coughing for a moment, you turned to her, “w-what?”
“Are you cheating on me with Taeyeon?”
“No, what? I would never?”
“Then can you please explain what happened at the interview?”
You shook your head, having stayed off social media yesterday, you didn’t know of the rumors others began to spread of you and Taeyeon dating, “explain what?”
“The beginning where you were holding hands and looking into each other’s eyes lovingly.”
You thought back to the day before trying to remember, “there was a minute before the interview where she was calming me down because I was becoming super nervous.”
“Calming you down how?”
“You normal words of encouragement. She also mentioned making you proud and that’s what helped calm my nerves the most.”
“Making me proud…”
“Yeah. Baby, are you okay, you don’t look good.”
Yeri just closed her eye sand took deep breath. Opening them again, she smiled at you, “everything fine. Let’s just get home.”

Red Velvet’s reaction to their princess! girlfriend choosing them over their betrothed on the wedding day
A/N: this was actually kinda cool to write and would be down to write out out a fanfic for it if you guys wanted me to. Although for a fanfic I would do a lot more research than I did for this bc it would be hard to keep it as vague bc I was already having difficulty keeping this vague.
Irene:
You looked longingly at Joohyun as you were led down the isle. She tried her best to ignore your stare while she helped situate the rest of the band to start playing the melody in time with your steps. Finally pulling away your stare, you focus on the alter in front of you that was growing closer and closer with each step, your betrothed smiling at you, but your lips quivered. You were released into their hands as they led you to the alter.
The man standing before you two, called out, “speak now or forever hold your peace.”
With your heart racing, you push back from the alter. “I object,” you sternly stated, despite your hands shaking. Without letting anyone speak, you hurry over to Joohyun, who stood there shocked. She had been ready to sing once you kissed your betrothed, but she wasn’t prepared when you threw yourself into her arms, causing the two of you to stumble and fall. Ignoring the gasps of the crowd, you pressed your lips onto Joohyun’s and at first she tried to push you away, “you’re making a mistake,” her lips clumsily said as your continued thematically against hers, but then she felt the hot tears that dripped from your cheek to hers. Not being able to hold back any longer, Irene pulled you closer.
There was a loud commotion behind you two, but neither of you listened to it. Instead, you pulled Joohyun’s arm before she took the lead and hurried away with you. Your feet pulling you to the secret location the two of you met for weeks when it was announced who you would be betrothed to. Once there and out of breath, you still continued to kiss Irene.
In between kisses, she breathed, “you are- fucking- crazy. I- love- you,” until she finally melted into the kiss, her hands pressing into your cheeks to wipe away the tears as some of her own rolled down her cheeks.
She had accepted that you two would never be able to be together ever again, and despite not knowing where you two would go from here, she decided that it was still worth the fight.
Seulgi:
You two stood in the empty corridor before the huge set of doors that will lead you to your betrothed. Seulgi smiled sadly at you, twirling your hair between her fingers. You reached up and stilled her hand, pressing it against your cheek, “I wish I could be marrying you right now.”
“Either way, I’ll always be yours and be here for you.” Seulgi pulled her hand away, making a last few adjustments to you, “there we go, ready to make your way down that aisle and to becoming the greatest queen of the decade?”
You shook your head, feeling tears warm your cheeks.
Seulgi bent down and gently patted them away, careful not to ruin your make up as she smiled at you, “you can do this. I will be right by your side.”
“I want to marry for love,” you broke down into sobs, your knees buckling to the floor. Seulgi bent down and let you crawl into her arms, your face pressed into her shoulder as you hiccuped, “I want to marry you.”
Seulgi ran her hand up and down your back as she tried to calm you down. When you were finally sitting before her, pressing your fingertips under your eyes, Seulgi finally talked, “I wish we could live in a different world, a different time where we could be together, but can you imagine the outrage right now if you don’t do this wedding? All that is at stake.”
You took a deep breath before looking her in the eye, “ can you do me one last favor?”
“Anything for you, my love.”
“Let’s run away. Just for today. Have one last escapade before I am tied down to this Kingdom and treaty forever.”
Seulgi hesitated, “you do know what will happen if you don’t walk through those doors.”
“I’ll handle it tomorrow. Please, I just. I need you. One last time.”
“This isn’t going to be the last time, is it?”
You shook your head, “not unless you want it to be.”
“… I don’t.”
“Good, let’s go to our usual place. Please.”
Seulgi nodded, helping you up and leading you away from the doors.
Wendy:
As it grew closer to you saying, “I do,” Seungwan couldn’t take it any longer. She slipped out of her seat, apologizing to the people around her before trying to make a swift get away. Of course, you had already been watching her from the corner of your eye, so when you started to see her walk over to the door way, you could feel your heart drop. The man next to you cleared his throat, pulling your attention back, “do you take-”
You cut him off, shaking your head.
The entire crowd stands up as you pull out of your betrothed hands and hurry down the hall. “Seungwan,” you almost screamed, causing her to stop and turn towards you. Her eyes were wide as you threw your arms around her. “I choose you,” you whisper in her ear as you spin the two of you.
“What,” Seungwan stuttered, “ but what about-”
“My title is not worth losing you.”
“Y/N, but you-”
You stop her with a kiss before pulling on her arm and away from the audience of people, “we have to get out of here. Remember when you joked about running away?”
“Y/N, it was just an insane thought, a joke.”
“Please, Seungwan, I want to be with you and marry fo love not treaties.”
Seungwan wanted to protest, but when shouts started up, she was quick to pull you away.
The two of you kept running and running until you found yourself in the middle of a field, unsure of where to go. Seungwan sat you down, “we should rest her for a while. Since it seems like we are going through with this, where would you like to run away to? It can’t be anywhere in the country, since you will more than likely to be noticed.”
“You really mean it?”
Wendy let out a breath before smiling and kissing you lightly on the cheek, “yes, I want to be with you as well.”
Joy:
“Sooyoung, wait up,” you called as you hurried after her. She turned around, confused on why you were leaving your dressing room with your gown half undone and barefoot, “Sooyoung, please, get me out of here.”
“What? Y/n, are you okay?”
“Sooyoung, I can’t do it. I want to be with you.”
“Y/N, we’ve talked about this.”
“I know, but I changed my mind. I don’t want to lose you.”
“you could never lose me.”
“Then why were you leaving?”
“You having to marry someone who isn’t me isn’t something I want to see.”
You stood there quiet, looking Sooyoung in the eyes as tears filled yours. You look out the window near by and towards the doors you were supposed to be walking through in just moments before turning your eyes back to her, “take me with you.”
“Y/N, you can’t just run away and get out of this marriage. We were never meant to be. You are next in line for the throne, you have to do your duty.”
You shook your head, “no, no I don’t. Someone else can take the throne, please Sooyoung, I can’t do this without you.”
“What happened to the Y/N before the betrothed who was sworn to her kingdom? Who said she will do anything to protect her people?”
Falling silent, you eyes fall to where your hands had subconsciously taken hers.
“Y/N, you have to do this. I’ll be back one day, alright?”
You watched her pull her hands away before she pressed a kiss to your temple. She smiled at you, “I love you, now go back into that dressing room and make yourself the beautiful and strong queen that I know you are.”
“Can you promise me one thing,” your voice sounded small.
“Sure.”
“Come back to me, no matter where you end up on your trip, please find your way back to me. If I have any say, this marriage wont last long and I’ll search endlessly to be with you, so promise you will be there waiting for me when I do.”
Sooyoung with tears filling her eyes, nodded before letting you pull her into a kiss that held more sorrow than anything.
“Now go. If you don’t, I-I don’t know how much strength I’ll have to go through with this.”
She slowly walked away and once she was around the corner, she slid down to the ground crying before pulling herself together and hurrying out of the palace and towards her ship that was awaiting her.
Yeri:
You two were in the dressing room, Yerim was playing with your hair as you watched her in the mirror. It was quiet, a somber mood spread between you two, but she took a deep breath and let your hair fall from her fingertips, “you should smile.”
“I can’t,” you said as you stood up and walked over to the window, watching the last few guests mingle before heading inside.
Yerim made her way over to you, wrapping her arms around your waist and resting her chin on your shoulder, “you look beautiful. That’s a good reason to smile. You are the prettiest bride I have ever seen.”
You let your shoulders fall as you turned to her, “too bad I’m not your bride.”
“Y/N…”
“Forget it,” you said as you held your hands up before making you way over to the mirror again. While fixing a bit of your make up, your lips twitched into a smirk, “I have a plan.”
Yerim hummed from where she sat.
“I’ll cancel the wedding.”
Yeri let out a laugh until she saw your eyes from the reflection in the mirror, “baby- I mean Y/N.”
“Please don’t stop calling me baby,” you turn back towards Yerim. As you begin to pace within the room, Yerim’s eyes follow you like a tennis match, “I can’t choose anyone who isn’t you. I only want you.”
“Baby, you’ll only start a war,” Yeri started, but you cut her off.
“Then so be it,” you said, ignoring Yerim as she tried to stop you. Your feet pulled you to the doors, throwing them open and startling the people nearby before making your way over to the alter. You stood before the entire crowd, your chin high as you called out in a projected, calm voice, “the wedding has been cancelled.” Commotion spread throughout the room, but you raised your hands and caused them to quiet down just as Yerim hurried through the door. She stopped halfway down the hall, her eyes wide. You let your hands fall before continuing, “there has to be a better way to make an alliance that doesn’t have to be in a loveless marriage.”
Your eyes fell onto Yerim as you slowly made your way to her. She shook her head, but you continued on your way, entangling your hand in hers. Her hair curtains her face as she leaned towards you, whispering, “Y/N, don’t do this.”
You press your lips onto hers before answering back, “I have to.” The crowd seemed to lean forward, waiting for you to finish your statement. You tighten your grip on Yerim’s hand before facing them once again, “as next in line for the throne, I ask all of you to trust me.”
Backlash had started to spread throughout the crowd and Yerim quickly pulled you out of the room and towards the dressing room once again, locking you two in there. Through the door, you could hear the guards voices as they tried to settle and clean the mess you made, but you couldn’t stop smiling. Yerim almost felt like she was losing her mind, “what was that? Y/N, did you expect anything else than that happening?”
“I mean, kinda? I hoped they would have a bit more trust in their own ruler.”
“You are absolutely insane,” Yerim stated, but took you into her arms, “but I love you because you are.” Before you could say anything else, Yerim kissed you hard and fast. Pulling away once more, she asked, “how do you want to go about cleaning this mess?”
“I think first I want to marry you.”
Yerim could feel her cheek flame, but she laughed, “I think first, we need to find something else to seal the treaty that isn’t you marrying someone else.”

Red Velvet’s reaction to learning their lover is a CEO
Irene: She would be completely shocked as she read the tweets. Turning towards you on the couch, she asks, “you’re a CEO?”
You look up from your phone, your eyes wide as your thoughts stumble, trying to find what to say. Finally, you let your phone drop onto your lap, “yes…”
“Why didn’t you tell me,” she tilts her head, unsure of what answer she really wants. Instead of answering, you just keep your eyes on your phone that was now slowly sliding off your thigh and onto the couch. Joohyun scoots closer, smiling a bit to try to lighten up the mood, “baby. It’s alright. Just tell me, I’m sure you didn’t do it for no reason.”
You look up into her eyes, her smile calming you as you release a breath, “alright,” you turn your body towards her, “I didn’t tell you because of a mix of things. You made me forget that I was a CEO sometimes, and other times, I just didn’t want you to treat me differently.”
“Why would I treat you differently?”
“It’s not that I don’t trust you but I used to have some people that I were close to that treated me differently, like I was royalty or something when they found out. I just want normal and you are my normal. I didn’t want that to change.”
“Baby,” Joohyun scoots closer, almost sitting on your lap as she wraps her arms around your shoulders, “I won’t treat you differently. Don’t worry.”
Seulgi:
She didn’t know how to react to the news at all. She felt a little hurt after learning that you were a CEO, but she also felt indifferent to it as her mind battled with her. It was your secret to keep, although she told you that she was an idol a few months into the relationship, she understands that it’s hard to reveal that kind of stuff, but she felt like she had earned more trust from you for that. When you hurried into her door, your face flushed and disheveled clothes, she just looked at you.
You straighten up your clothes as you walk over to her, “I can explain.” Seulgi sat, waiting. “Okay, I know I should have told you, but to me it wasn’t something that mattered.”
She was quiet for a moment before speaking, “me being an idol wasn’t something that mattered to our relationship, but I told you anyways.”
“I know, but baby listen.” “No wait. I’m sorry. I should’t use that, we both have very different lifestyles.”
“They aren’t that different, I just thought.. I tried to stay away form the internet as a CEO. I don’t want to be thought of that first when anyone sees me and I just panicked and worried every time I tried to tell you.”
“You don’t have to. I’ll understand. I love you.”
“And I love you too. We should really talk about making a public statement about this, but I just want to cuddle.”
“Let’s just cuddle for a bit then we can worry about it.”
Wendy:
The moment Seungwan heard the news, she sat you down, “we need to talk.”
“What’s up babe,” you laugh nervously as she sits across the table.
She pulls out her phone and unlocks it to the screen full of tweets, “care to explain?” You scratched the back of your neck, heat running up your neck. “You see. I thought we were honest with each other? I asked you after revealing myself as an idol to you what your job was and you answered?”
“I work at a clothes shop.”
“Correct,” she scrolls through the tweets until landing on one about your work, “you know, there is a pretty big difference between working at a place and basically running a place.”
You nod, “yes, but I just.. didn’t really think it was that important to our relationship.”
“It is though, isn’t it? I knew you would find out I was an idol, so that’s why I told you. To establish trust, but I feel as if maybe you don’t trust me.”
“I do babe. I do, just I have had a hard past of losing friends and others that I were close to due to them finding out what I am. Some only started to stay friends with me because of the money and others felt as if they couldn’t be in the same room as me because of my position. They were scared of me sometimes too, I didn’t want you to be scared of me as well,” you look down, watching your fingers play on the edge of the table.
Seungwan reaches over, encasing your hand in hers. Looking up at her, there is a lot of compassion in her eyes, “I wouldn’t treat you differently. We really need to open up more about this stuff, alright?” You nod and she helps you up out of the chair and towards the living room, “let’s stay in and watch a movie tonight.”
Joy:
She looked up from her phone at you, unable to stop the small smile as you smiled at her, but she shook her head, “I need to ask you something”
“Yes, honey,” you answered.
“Is there something you aren’t telling me?”
“Um, well,” your cheeks becoming red, you look away, “yes.”
“What is it?”
You breath in, your heart beat speeding up, “I’m a CEO.”
“Why haven’t you told me sooner,” she asks, a frown playing on her face as she awaits your answer. She is nervous that you might say you didn’t trust her enough when she put all of her trust into you about almost everything in your relationship.
“I don’t really know to be honest. Maybe it’s a lot of factors.” She sucked in a deep breath, awaiting your honesty. “The biggest one was that you made me feel normal.”
Her mouth opened and closed for a moment, “did you think I would treat you differently?”
You shook your head, reaching for her, “no no no, honey. I didn’t think that at all, but I have had too many times where people did that I didn’t want to jinx us. I love our relationship so much that it scared me that if you learned I was a CEO, that it would just come crumbling down.”
“Well, it won’t. Don’t worry, my love. You mean everything to me, and your job doesn’t change you entirely as a person, it just means you need to make up for all those dinners I paid for you.”
You laughed, “sorry. I had to keep up the act that I had a lower job than I did.”
“it’s alright. So, dinner on you tonight?”
Yeri:
She would be a mix of confusion and anger after reading the tweets. She couldn’t even stop her fingers as they called you, the phone ringing in her ear.
You picked up on the third ring, “hello?”
“We need to talk,” Yeri said quickly, her voice lowering.
“Yes, baby girl?”
A shuffling sound could be heard in the background. “What is that noise?”
“I’m at work baby. You know I am a secretary, so I have to work with a lot of papers, I am just now organizing them.”
“You’re still gonna lie…” her voice almost became a whisper, “even after seeing the tweets?”
“Baby girl, I swear I can-”
“Why did you lie to me?” Then silence. She heard a soft thump before a fumbling sound.
Now pressing the phone to your ear, you speak, “Can we do this in person? Please? It’s a lot to tell you over the phone.”
Yeri almost wanted to hang up, but she just let her phone rest in her hand, without hearing a reply, she just says, “our first date spot in an hour,” then the phone line went silent on your side as she hung up.

Red Velvet’s reaction to learning that the reader is a well-known lawyer/prosecutor
Irene:
She had been scrolling through the news when she had spotted your name within the details of a current case. She would scan through the entire thing before typing your name into google and learning more about what you do. I think at first she would be shocked, but she would become impressed the more she read. The next time she saw you, you better be prepared to explain why you never told her.
Seulgi:
She was with some friends when one had brought up the case that was all over the news while another had asked if she knew you. When she had said that she knew you, they would talk about your work on the case and would leave her in a shocked excitement because she hadn’t know what you did for a living. She would be proud and listen intently to her friends before contacting you about it.
Wendy:
There wasn’t much to watch on T.V., so she left it on the news channel and just played on her phone. At least, she was until she heard your name. Her eyes snapped to the T.V., as she watched the group of newscasters praise you while talking about the famous case that was happening. She would watch the T.V. in shock before she shut it off and called you.
Joy:
She was being interviewed, when the person interviewing her brought up you knowing that they two of you were close. They had asked about her thoughts on the case that you were walking on, and at first she was shocked but soon she would become smug and proud as the interviewing gave high praises for you.
Yeri:
She had been talking to Sooyoung when Joohyun had showed dup and showed them her phone. On the screen for the tile of the article was your name and the other words blurred out as Joohyun shook the phone and then pulled it away. She would start to read the article out loud, but Yeri would be annoyed as she learned what you did for a living because she thought you guys were closer than that. It would take her a moment after Joohyun finished reading it to calm down and then shoot you a text asking about it.

Red Velvet’s reaction to rumors of their girlfriend cheating on them
Irene:
Seeing the tweets and the other tweets by fans that are claiming the same thing, Joohyun might end up a bit conflicted. She wanted to trust you more than social media, but when it’s her fans, her heart started to split into two. She would try to talk to you and ask you about it first before she believes anything, but she might also start keeping a closer eye on everything. She knows that you wouldn’t lie to her, but neither would her fans.
Seulgi:
She would need some time to process the news. She knows that it is more than likely false rumors being spread and the post had a lack of evidence, but the idea still hurt her. It may take a while before she brings it up to you, but in the end, she might ask for a break so she could take a step back from everything. Even if you weren’t cheating on her, the idea was still very overwhelming.
Wendy:
She was with her members when they showed her the tweet. She would start to laugh at it because it was so obviously fake, but she also couldn’t stop the small rush of worry that went through her. She would talk to you about it right away and clear things up with both you and social media so that unneeded hate wouldn’t spread.
Joy:
She might be a bit more reserved about it. Before talking to you, she might start to watch your actions more, but once she felt them starting to get to her head is when she would give in and show you the tweet. Even after you telling her that you aren’t cheating on her, she might still be a tiny bit wary and would need a bit of time alone because of that.
Yeri:
Being the youngest of the group, the rumors of you cheating on her would more than likely impact her the most. She would end up being the most reserved, both with not wanting to worry her members about it and finding it hard to talk to you. It would take a while, but when you finally ask her about why she has been so distant, she might give in and tell you about the rumors. You clarifying that you weren’t cheating would relieve her a bit, but she might still be wary of everything.

Red Velvet’s reacting to their girlfriend being a professional athlete
Irene:
She would be super supportive of you. Literally at almost all your games, she will be in the crowd cheering you on. She might even send someone to do it for her if her schedule conflicted with yours. She ends up cutely proud of you all the time when talking about your achievements that sometimes, she will do it while at an award show where she might gain some of her own achievements.
Seulgi:
The two of you hadn’t been dating for too long and while you know about her career, she didn’t really know about yours since she doesn’t watch a ton of sports. She knew you were really good at what you do, but when your game was on one of the T.Vs in the wait room, Seulgi would be shocked to hear how you were announced. She would become excited as she started yelling “that’s my girl.”
Wendy:
You two had only been on a couple of dates, but Sooyoung decided to go to one of your games to support you. When she saw how good you actually were, she would be in utter shock and gasp at how loud the crowd would cheer when your name was even said. She would do her best to follow along with everything, but end up keeping her eyes on you as she cheered you on.
Joy:
A couple of the staff members near-by had been talking about the recent game that had happened. Sooyoung had started to drift away from their conversation until she heard your name and all the praise that came after it. She would walk up to the group all proud like and tell them that that was your girl.
Yeri:
You were making your way towards the field as the crowd died down, but Yeri couldn’t contain her excitement because it was her first game of yours she was at as she shouted your name with a you got this baby. You would embarrassedly wave at her, but Yeri would proudly wave back with a huge smile on your face that helped you do your best play.
