More work on the precinct today, another tauros painted up, 4 Arbites to use as henchmen for my Inquisitor built, and the crews painted up and added to the repressor and rhino.

Keeping up with some hobby has been a bit of kit bashing for some tank crew, one for the repressor, and a spare for a rhino I'll repurpose from the Deathwatch.
The Arbites with the speaker mic will likely have the nuncio-aquila attached to the rhino once it's ready

And as I had the transfers out I've added some to the repressor for the Arbites too. A banner name, iconography on the sides and a precinct identifier on the roof

It's been an age since I've done any hobby, but I had some bits I ordered early December arrive last weekend, 2 necromunda tauros venators, and an exaction squad. This week has been building, base coating and a start on painting with 1 completed so far.

The first batch have been rescued with a black wash! Grenade launcher arbites from the first batch as the example vs the shotgun arbites from the second one.

A bit of basing this afternoon, frustratingly this batch came out so much better than the first one. Trying to decide if I re-do the original ones!

Do you ever look at a recently painted and converted mini and think, "yes, it's perfect there's no way I'd change that"? No, me neither...
Here's the latest batch of minor tweaks to my Arbites, no doubt more changes will come.
An updated chirugant, castigator and 2 revelatum/malocator for either kill team or 40k.
Then an updated executioner, arbites with Webber and 2 subjugators using the new arbites shields, which are slightly smaller than the old metal fanatic enforcer ones

My delivery of bits turned up today, some replacement Webber's, shields and shock mauls. The plan for this coming week is to get them onto the models with melta guns so they're correctly armed, and to get the shields on the models currently missing them altogether.
One of the mauls is for my next project, I'll be looking to convert a sororitas noviciate onto Shira Calpurnia from the enforcer trilogy as a counts as Inquisitor until 10th is fully released with an agents of the imperium list.

2 squads done baring a rebase.
An 8 man exaction squad, and a 10 strong subductor squad. A mix of fanatic enforcers and an older 2nd ed Marshall.

As I'm doing a new urban based army some more objectives were needed. Looking at the info coming out of this weekends warhammerfest it seems that 10th will revolve around 4 objectives, so these are what I've got painting up, with 2 more ready if needed

Some squads have been assembled, I've had to strip out some grenade launchers for use elsewhere, as the limits of 1 per squad are frustrating and I've substituted the already modeled melta guns as counts as webbers. But all in all most of my models have been used.
I've managed 3 squads of Vigilants, 1 of subductors, and 2 of exactors. Rounded off with an Inquisitor and a repressor they come in at just under 900 points. Now to get a 2nd repressor to round it to 1000...

The Arbites rules for 9th edition are out, and they don't look too shabby at first glance! I'll look to put a list together later today and see what my army comes to points wise
For those that haven't seen them yet, here they are:

The new Aegis Defence Line looks like a solid improvement on the old barricades and Wall of Martyrs, combining elements of both to improve on the concept.
The original Aegis kit had an extremely prefabricated, drop-in look to it that worked well as a post hoc Imperial fortification but didn't really read as the kind of long-term occupation you might find on a bastion world, while the a Wall of Martyrs was much more substantial and permanent in appearance, but limiting by the fixed configuration with an obvious "front" and "back" making it a challenge to do complex configurations like tenaille trenches.
The new kit appears to retain the ease of use of a precast jersey barrier while providing a more substantial, modular format to construct elaborate defensive networks and conveniently foregoing the extremely specific look of Cadian dead heaped, improbably, on the wrong side of the parapet. I'll be extremely curious to see if there are any other compatible kits in the offing, or if there'll just be the firing platform and barricades.

A couple of small changes, the previous revelatum is now a castigator, and my old Arbites tech priest has had a shotgun added to it and has taken his place. The chirurgant has also had a weapon upgrade, with the laspistol now a shotgun.

A few more models, some older, some updated to match into killteam. A couple need to have shotguns added onto the model or other minor tweaks, but overall they're mostly done.
Another proctor, this time with shotgun; a leashmaster and a cyber mastiff; 2 shotgun only models to use as vigilants or castigators, and a vox signifier; a chirurgant, malocator, and a revelatum
