Ok giving a shout out to Therapy in a Nutshell for all of her wonderful videos bc oh my land guys, these videos have been helping me handle so much. like from doing Emotional Regulation to handling anxiety and calming down by body’s reactions to it, I can’t tell you guys how insanely grateful I am for these videos.

If any of you get the chance, definitely peruse her videos and see if any of them speak to what you’re going through. They’re really helpful, and are genuinely really nice to listen to too.

//Okay, so there are LOADS of AUs and stuff that we can actually do with our characters! For the Mafia AU I can actually see Dictatious as the consigliere to Marshal/Gunmar with Ruby being an informant for him, and meeting Bonely and his crew when he and Marshal start getting into deal brokering between their two groups.

//For the Goodmar!au, I can see Dictatious being rescued by the GummGumms from human knights and meeting Ruby while working with Gunmar & Bonely. Which means that Dictatious' family would've probably grown up around Bonely & the Heirs!

ooc: I, Jedi & the Boys' Mindscapes

//still hate that I got tricked into listening to the abridged version of "I, Jedi" which runs like a story written by a grandma's kitchen counter, instead of the dynamic engrossing style I've come to know from Stackpole)

//BUT in listening to the ACTUAL AUDIO BOOK, I've been thinking about Salem and Bonely's mental scenery and what their minds would be like.

//And honestly I think Bonely's would be like a bustling city, all lights and routes and mazes to nowhere with shortcuts to everywhere if you know where to look for them. His thoughts are constantly racing, always thinking about something, to the point he gets uneasy when he's in a quiet zone. He's so used to keeping track of 20 different things that finding a moment to just be still is actually nervewracking for him. It's like being a mouse in an open field - no mazes to hide in, no bustling crowds to blend in with. He's a city rat having to face what he's like when he's Not in the city.

//Then you have Salem. Salem, who loves being in the peaceful quiet, who envelopes himself in nature - the rippling pond, the trickling stream, the opening flowers in the morning light. He loves that peace and tranquility and actively seeks to instill that in his home and the graveyards he keeps tidy and well cared for. He likes tranquility but he's learned to put his walls up around his tranquility to deal with the conflicts and loneliness that tranquility is followed by. He's a woodsman in a forest, a gardener in a glade, but he's also a shovel that will break dirt and cause problems if someone decides to bring problems his way.

//Man, thinking about Salem & Bonely being strong in the force (the Clerci being a strong Jedi line and Necronum being the Sith order who poisoned their planet searching for immortality to begin with), and how quick they’d actually be killed if they were found during the purge.

//Bonely’s strength would be in telekinesis & perception manipulation. He’d be the type to hide and misdirect, using the force to glance attention off him and his brother. He’s probably one of the reasons people don’t take their planet seriously, because if they did, they’d take him and Salem seriously. Which is where his telekinesis would come in. Having the power to stop someone in their tracks without touching them is a useful gift when a blaster isn’t on hand.

//meanwhile Salem is a bolster type, he empowers others abilities more than his own. It’s why force ghosts can do things around him normally not done. He’s also a healing type. Healing through the force comes naturally to him, more naturally than fighting remnant sith monsters on their world.

//Theres such a contrast with them though. Bonely is a stocky unit of a man who relies on persuasion and perception. Salem is a bean pole who’s quick, strong, and agile with his work.

//as fun as the “dealing with yokels and monsters” would be, I can definitely see Salem getting shot by the empire if he wasn’t being hidden by Bonely.

//Hey! We've chatted a bit on my sideblog @mantleoflight, but sure I can try a few ideas!

//Okay so for this blog here, I can actually see the Awoken Brigade being regular customers of the Golden-Age Bistro, a small restaurant run by my guy, Bonely! He's a great cook and makes loads of Pre-Golden age food. The type of food really depends on the day since he likes cooking a variety of foods. He does have a set menu of things that are easy and quick for him to cook, but he also has daily specials where he makes something "From the Old Days" like clam chowder, buffalo wings, or stirfry and curry.

//Some times he comes up with WEIRD stuff and I can absolutely see the Brigade making different dares with each other when he gets those really weird dishes out to play. XD
