even though remus was a major character in the harry potter series and was a fan favourite- i still think he was underrated. at the young age of 4 he was bitten by greyback. he was told that being a werewolf made him a bad person. foul creatures. monsters. disgusting half breeds. up until the age of 11 he didn’t think he would be able to go to hogwarts and when he was told he could, he was overjoyed. yet he had no friends- he knew no one when he was going to hogwarts. he was then befriended by two cheerful, confident and rebellious boys, James Potter and Sirius Black. he was an under-dog friend and befriended peter pettigrew when james and sirius didn’t want to. he had a quiet sense of humour and was kind to everyone. he loved his friends even though they often irritated him. but as much as he loved them he still had to hide a massive secret from them every month. when the four of them left hogwarts they joined the order of the phoenix. he then had to deal with a major traumatic event of james and lily’s death. His friends meant even more to him than to other people, because he had long since accepted the fact that most people would treat him as untouchable, and that there could be no possibility of marrying and having children. Even worse, within twenty-four hours he had also lost his two other best friends. Remus was in the north of the country on Order of the Phoenix business when he heard the horrible news that one of them had murdered the other, and was now in Azkaban, a traitor to the Order and to Lily and James themselves. You know one thing I really hate is how the wizarding world stereotypes Slytherins. Like I know they finally realised we’re not all bad but still, we are perceived as people who dress in all black and dark green and are nasty to most. There are friendly slytherins, muggleborn slytherins, slytherins who’s favourite colour is yellow and like picking flowers and baking in their spare time! Slytherins who like a laugh with there friends and play cunning pranks on them. slytherins who are utterly focused on their goal but still willing to help others and put there ambition to good use. Not all slytherins are selfish, snide and cruel. Some of are actually decent people.

So I write fanfics. I would like to call myself a writer or an author but honestly, 70% of the time I do not have the motivation to write. And that kinda sucks. I love writing but it is so, so hard to make myself write every single day as I know I should. It is just so difficult to want to do anything at all. Even the things I used to love so much. Now it just feels like I am doing work and it doesn’t feel like I am doing something I enjoy.
