i want to sit in either an old rocking chair or arm chair covered in a blanket i knit myself, with some tea on the end table next to me, reading an old trashy romance novel written by a woman who was in her 40s at the time of writing but is now surely in her early 70s that i found in the corner of an old independent secondhand book shop in a town far past its heyday, is that too much to ask??

My Fave Hot Choccy Recipe

This recipe is extra. It's filling, rich, and entirely up to you what you put in it. But Imma leave my fave recomendations

Ingredients:

Milk of your choice (dairy milk, plant milk, etc)

Square of your favorite chocolate (chopped fine)

A packet/serving of your favorite hot cocoa mix

Cinnamon stick

Vanilla extract/paste to taste

Marshmallows (optional)

Whipped cream (optional)

Chocolate sauce (optional)

Crushed peppermint pieces (optional)

Candy cane (optional)

Directions:

Put your milk, chopped chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, and hot cocoa mix in a pot. Warm over medium-low to medium heat, until all incorporated. If you have peppermint pieces, add these now and warm until melted.

Remove cinnamon stick from your cocoa, and pour your cocoa into your favorite mug.

Put in your marshmallows, top with whipped cream, and drizzle chocolate sauce on top, if you desire. Stick that candy cane in your mug, too!

Enjoy~. If you don't have/don't want to add any extras, just follow steps 1-2, without the peppermint pieces.
