Remus Lupin never actually tried to stop Fred and George's pranks. Every time he busted them, he only pushed them to be better: leaving little clues along the way and conveniently pretending he has no idea what's going on in front of other professors and later Molly.
McGonagall sees right through him because she remembers every single time those 4 boys made her grey prematurely. One time, after the twins execute something too close to her boys' style, she has no way to prove it's actually them. So she strides into Remus' office and proclaimes, '20 points from Gryffindor for giving children prank ideas!'
'Oh, Professor, you couldn't prove it was us back then, how am I responsible for this now? Obviously it's the Hufflpuffs!'
'You can't always blame the Hufflpuffs, Mr. Lupin!' that's exactly what he did, it's not his fault he lost his charm on her after she caught him snogging Sirius in her classroom. He bribed 2 Hufflpuffs to turn themselves in as if responsible for 'defiling' Potions classroom only a week earlier! But Sirius just couldn't help himself. Totally wasn't Remus' idea.
'It's Professor Lupin now, Minnie' he smirks in triumph, James' laughter in his head. She takes another 5 points from him.
The twins didn't realise until after they had left Hogwarts and Sirius had told them about the Mastermind behind Marauders' glory. Remus helped with ideas for WWW's launch.

Leon is my OC of Regulus' son who is a couple years younger than Teddy
Leon adores stories about his uncle so when he finds this in Sirius' room under the nosy floorboard he runs to his dad asking to tell him everything about the pictures
Reg does not expect to see a photo of him in there

Leon Regulus Black
So this is my little OC, Regulus' son.
I honestly believe that if Reg had lived through both wars, he would have settled down with a nice person and had the sweetest child ever.
If we are talking about the name: i have this headcanon that when the Black brothers were little, maybe like Sirius' first holidays after going to Hogwarts, the older brother talked about the fact that no one had such names as their family and they were silly. And Regulus argued that he liked their names very much.
Then Sirius would say: "Ok, i only like one. If i ever have a son, i'll call him Leon! Imagine mother's face haha!"
And Regulus got a little upset and pouted: "Well, of course you would..."
"Not because of Gryffindor! Well, not only because of it... I mean, your constellation is Leo! And you'd be a Godfather! A good freaking one if getting me out of trouble says anything!"
Regulus embraces his big brother tightly because even though Sirius found friends in Hogwarts, he still loved him.
____________ And then i suppose Regulus would name his child this way in memory of his brother. He clearly didn't want to make Walburga shutter in the afterlife. Not at all.
So obviously the boy looks as a Black should but Regulus takes it upon himself to raise Leon not as a good pureblood but as a good person. Even though some manners and knowledge are still very important to learn for every little wizard. Playing musical instruments is one of them and this is the hill Reg chooses to die on. Leon fights for his right to live without music lessons viciously until he finds a guitar in uncle Sirius' old room and drags it down the stairs to his father proudly: "I wanna lear'n how to play this. Pwease? Pwetty pwease?"
Even though he had some experience of dealing with enchanting over energized trouble-is-my-second-name boys, Reg still has no idea how to say no to their kind. So Leon learns how to play guitar.
And then Hogwarts, right? He is a Black, his father is a Slytherin. But he is also Leon and loves bedtime stories about his Uncle's adventures, trying to live up to that already (poor Regulus, 'oh god i am turning grey because of this child!'). But he is also the most kind-hearted and hard-working boy you'll ever meet. And Teddy is like the BEST cousin ever so...
So he is sorted into Ravenclaw. Because despite all of this, he is very passionate about all the little things he learns. The boy can be found daydreaming about the impossible ways he could change the world for the better.
He does spend his first year trying to figure out how to create a stable time machine just as TARDIS
The earrings are acquired in his third year in the dirty loo on the third floor because Teddy and he are going to be punk rock stars and they NEED piercings.
Regulus is not surprised and has no desire to upset his sweet boys. Not like a Lupin never corrupted a Black before.
"No, if you get tattoos, i'll be very angry, Teddy. It's just that i hope that there is something of your father in you, that would prevent you from doing it while you are fourteen. Then again at school he somehow fell for S..."
... Nevermind. You are crazy enough from both of lines. Still, don't make my old heart break over you looking like prisoners if you get tattoos, boys".
"Understood, dad"

Don't even get me started on the fact that he steals Sirius' old leather jacket when he is 14. We talk a lot about his connection to the parents, but let's agree that he would adore stories about his cool Uncle Sirius who ran away from home as a teenager, had a flying motorbike and long hair and TATTOOS!!!
The tattoos, the piercings??? I feel like it would start as a little rebel against Harry to show that he is an adult now and then he just would never stop.

Black Brothers
Sirius and Regulus grow up being the closest siblings in the world until the day Sirius runs away from home
Regulus is 6 and wants to learn how to play chess but Orion loses his temper after 10 minutes of questions from his son and leaves. It's a good thing that Sirius is always there to help (even though he hates chess)
R: Siri!
S: What Reggie?
R: You are the best brother ever!
S: I am the only one you've got silly!
S: Love you too
Once puberty hits Sirius, he acquires a rather interesting style and Regulus just doesn't understand it
R: Siri you look ridiculous
S: And you are just jealous! I am a MAN!
R: You seem thirty, not fifteen!
S: That's the whole point!
But one day Sirius runs away and sees Regulus next time only in one of Hogwarts corridors from far away
S: Mr Perfection where the fuck are your hair?
R: Not your business blood traitor
S: What?! Reggie, stop!
R: *starts to go away*
S: But you loved them!
S: I am your brother, i am allowed to know!
R: I don't have a brother anymore! He died and hair reminded mom of him
S: *catches up with Regulus and sees his face*
S: Wait, stop! What happened, you are all beaten up?!
R: I already told you. I reminded mother of you.
S: But i left two months ago, this bitch...
R: She never stopped

Sirius doesn't know modern music. Part 1
Sirius lived and the war is over, so he finally feels free and happy to start a new cool life but then he realizes that he might have a little catching up to do
- one day he listens to children talk about muggle music in the living room and suddenly realizes that he doesn't recognize a single damn name
- like who the hell are The Offspring and how are they TOO OLD for Ron's liking
- but Sirius has always wanted to be the cool godfather, he was supossed to introduce Harry to the world of rock and punk and take him to the concerts. He cannot ask Harry about it even if his life depended on that.
- so he goes to Remus in hopes to learn what he's missed but Lupin has always been a sucker for the 60s music and Bowie specifically so he is only able to tell him that half the bands Sirius liked have split and unfortunately Tonks is working the whole week and Sirius hasn't got patience to wait for the weekend to discuss it with her
- he goes to an old music shop he visited in secret when he still lived at Grimmauld Place as a teen
- being overwhelmed with all the new (for him) music he buys lots of vynils and cassettes by the principe of "i know the name and it's good enough for me"
- he comes back to the shop a week later, absolutely euphoric, and there is the same asistant from the last time (tall, freckles, sand hair, around 25 - mental note by Sirius) and he is kinda observant and asks politely if he could be of any help
- and Sirius is honestly a little bit lost, because, c'mon he missed almost 20 years of amazing music
- and he knows that Mercury is dead so it makes him hopeless to find new music he'd like (dramatic bitch) but at least Bowie is still around
- so he explains to the asistant "You see, i didn't have access to the music in the place i've been to last 17 years..."
- and the guy is very understanding and like "well, it's good that now you can have some new music to help you forget about the dark times"
- and Sirius is taken aback because listening to music has always been his coping mechanism and he can't understand how he could forget that and mutters "yes indeed"
- but before going to the records, the assistant, whose name is Lewis, asks cautiously whether Sirius would be interested in buying a CD player because most of the new music is on CDs and it's cheaper to buy it
- and Sirius is like "money isn't a problem really"
- but Lewis looks at his old leather jacket and boots that had obviously seen better days and then as if remembering not to be accidentally rude goes "no, of course, i just thought it would be better but if you'd like vynils or cassettes it's absolutely okay too"
- sirius makes a mental note to go shopping
- and says "i could buy a.. Cee Dee but only if you show me how to use it properly"
- and Lewis is wondering in his thoughts what kind of jail the man had been to and what he had done to be held there for so long that a CD is new to him but then Sirius smiles dashingly and suddenly Lewis can't think about anything else abd blushes
- Sirius opens his mental notes and puts a simple 'can still get a guy' in it proudly
