I have noticed a lack of actual content on my dash. I'm sure its my fault for following the wrong blogs or something, but ISTG they are like 90% bots that just post random pictures with no context. Not even stuff they drew, just like random stuff that I think they stole. W/e I'm sure im imagining it, just not seeing a lot of actual blogging.

Edit: Proceeds to go follow more blogs posting cute pictures and hazbin content despite that mini rant.

Hazbin is a giant target for these kinds of people because of its subject matter. If it isn't the Christians, it's someone else who hates something about it. Like, wtf does "Hazbin has straight energy" even mean? I can't honestly believe anyone who goes after it from that angle has even seen the pilot or is anything more than a troll.

The Christian hate was inevitable and won't go away, so I guess we better just get used to that. The Satanic Panic will never end for some people and the concept of art is beyond them. I mean, just look to the Lil Nas X Montero bullshit and the shoes!

SHOULD I ENGAGE WITH THIS? Probably not. I still feel like I aught to.

That said, my issue here is not with atheism. I myself was an atheist for quite a while after my initial deconversion from the evangelical christian upbringing I had.

My issue is with the idea that "freethinking" means atheist. That is simply not what "freethought" does or should imply. Freethought is the freedom of thought. Not, as this post would imply, freedom from thought. A freethinking individual has the capacity to choose their beliefs as they see fit, and that should not be a problem. Many great "freethinkers" from history themselves were highly religious. Free thought liberates the individual from the confines of dogma, yes, but that does not mean they are then precluded from religious thought. To imply that free thought means that one cannot have certain thoughts is nonsense.

Frankly, this can be seen as nothing less than its own form of dogma. An Atheist dogma. A dogma which uses the terms "Freethought" and "Freethinker" as little more than a tool to impart self importance. By all means, be atheist, but don't force your beliefs on others, much as the very "evil christians" you oppose do, in the name of freethinking.

Anywho, just my 2 cents.

I say “kids” but I made this page originally at like 17. I may not have used it much, but I can say straight off the bat that I had no sense of aesthetics. Ignoring entirely the fact that I was intending to find some way to profit off the brony fandom at the time, which is little more than a dead memory now, I had little to no idea how to setup a page like this. 

To the benefit of the world, I made some poor design choices and promptly backed out.

To those who have somehow found this page and followed it up to this point... why?
