        “Right!” And off he goes. Okay, so his ‘letting the doc know‘ was more shooting him a quick message, but hey, considering what they were getting up to, he figured it’d be alright.

         Just a hunt, nothing terrible, just a hunt. A nice, perfectly good hunt with his favorite person ever. Yeah! Fuck everybody else, Izuku was going to head on out with him. And he had to make sure Izuku had a good time! Have a good time, maybe share a meal, get the goods for the doc–yeah, no problem!

                                         This will be a good night.

          So after nabbing himself a quick mask–just the face kind, he’ll steal a proper one from whoever they ran into first–and, after a bit of debatng, grabbing a black hoodie to go right with it, too. Quick, simple good enough that blood on it won’t be too obvious, so he and Izuku didn’t waste any more time dawdling here and maximize their time out-

           “Hm?” Eijiro idly tugged the strings of the hoodie as he came to a stop near the boy. “Oh, that’s okay! I think…maybe this’ll be okay!” At least until the blood starting soaking through, but oh well- “C’mon!” He reached out to–carefully–take Izuku’s hand. “The night’s young, and we got a lotta ground to cover!”

Izuku was more eager to take Ei’s hand. That was his safe person, after all, he wanted to hold onto him as they went! At first Izuku excitedly hopped a few steps ahead, but as they got further out he moved back and started clinging a little nervously to Ei’s arm.

“There’s more people than I thought...” he mumbled, tucking his face into hsi scarf to hide a little. He had long since stopped going crazy at the smell of blood, so it was more of an anxiety reaction than trying to hold himself back.

... But there was a lot of excitement, which made the smell of blood harder to ignore, too. “Keep holding onto me?” Izuku asked quietly, squeezing Ei’s hand. He wanted to have fun! And hunts with Ei were always good. He just needed help getting over his nervousness first.

Right?!” Maybe it was…pretty terrible to suggest that, but, hey…maybe the doctor could back off his ass, getting some sweet new cadavers to work with out of this. It–it was a total win-win! “Let’s get right on it! I-I’ll let the doc know we’re headin’ out!”

“Okay! I’ll get ready! Oh- And I’ll find you a scarf, it’s cold out tonight!” Izuku said, beaming and rushing off to get prepared. He had to get his good red shoes on, and find a good scarf for his friend! It would suck if he caught a cold.

... Then again, if Ei caught a cold, then Izuku could look after him and Ei would need him and maybe even thank him or praise him...

“Oh woops, looks like I can’t find a scarf~”

“Mm, well, there are lots of people out tonight? And they’re all in costumes. Maybe it’s some kind of hero meeting...?” Izuku guessed. Although most of them weren’t ‘heroes’ he recognized. “We could probably hunt one of them?”

A bit caught off guard by Kacchan suddenly pinning him down, Izuku let out a cute squeak but let it happen. His blush turned more genuine at the soft comment. “Th-thank you, Kacchan…” he stammered, offering his boyfriend a gentle smile. 

Katsuki hummed happily, leaning down to give Izuku a kiss. That was the least he deserved for flustering him! “Later tonight I’m gonna get you back for that, Deku~” he growled playfully.

Given that Kacchan’s room was on the top floor, Izuku hadn’t exactly heard the first thud, but he did hear the explosions coming up from the stairwell. 

Perfect. He had Kacchan right where he wanted him.

Izuku bit back a laugh at the enthused kicking at the door. He placed his phone aside and leaned back on his arms, trying to look as natural as possible while spread over his boyfriend’s bed. 

“…Well…you told me I needed to wear something hot if I wanted your attention…” Izuku murmured as he glanced away. He was playing up his more flustered act for show, like he didn’t know that what he did would rile Kacchan up. “…S-so I wondered… what would Kacchan think if I wore nothing instead…?” 

“Tch- You damn nerd, you know exactly what I think of that,” he said, marching over and pinning Izuku to the bed. He wasn’t going to do anything (it was a bit early in the day for that), but he was going to admire him.

“... Holy fuck you’re beautiful, y’know that?”

There was a loud thump from downstairs a second after the messages arrived. Clearly, Katsuki had literally dropped whatever he was doing, consequences be damned, after seeing that picture.

Not long after, he was blasting his way up the stairs, the sound of rapidly-approaching explosions punctuated by him almost kicking the door down.

“You tryna kill me?!”

Oh, geez. He couldn’t believe he was about to text Kacchan this. His face was burning already!

But he had to! It was revenge! 

Izuku had snuck into Kacchan’s room in only his underwear after taking a shower. Though, while he was bathing, he managed to snap a rather risqué picture of himself without clothes and stored it in his phone just for this moment. 

He knew Kacchan was probably in the middle of training or cooking, likely something other than just watching TV, so this was the perfect opportunity to draw his attention. 

After letting out a slow breath, he began sending Kacchan a series of texts. 

To :: [ Kacchan ♡ ] I took a cute picture of myself earlier today. Thought you’d wanna see. 

To :: [ Kacchan ♡ ] attachment1.jpg sent

To :: [ Kacchan ♡ ] Miss you. If you wanna talk, I’ll be waiting in your room~

Katsuki gave his boyfriend a few more soothing rubs against his back even after they stopped counting. “…You feel any better?” he prodded softly. Obviously, he was still concerned. 

“I can carry you back to Endeavor’s Agency if you don’t think you can walk…” he then offered. 

“N-no, I- I’m okay,” Izuku muttered, his face just going more red. “... I’m really fine. I wasn’t- It wasn’t even a bad day, I don’t get why I’m... overreacting like this.”

He sighed, disappointed in himself. It stung. “... How am I mean to be a good hero like this?” he said quietly. “If this happens at the wrong time... someone will die. I don’t want to put anyone in danger, but...”

He cut himself off abruptly and shoved at the nerd’s arm. He wasn’t gonna admit he was scared! Least of all, not to this bastard! “…It was pissing me off! I wasn’t scared though!” An absolute lie.  

Izuku cackled, floating happily around Katsuki’s room. “Kacchan, I know you’re scared of ghosts, you don’t have to act tough. But it’s fine, I’m like... what was that English cartoon? Casper? Yeah! I’m friendly! C’mon, it’s my first Halloween as a ghost, let me have this!”

Katsuki paled, bristling again at the cold breath. The hairs on the back of his neck stood on end as he, once again, whirled around to try and find the culprit. Was it Hagakure? She was invisible, but why the fuck would she sneak into his room?! Maybe it was a prank? 

“Oi! Is that you, Ghost Face?” It was one of a few nicknames he’d given Hagakure. “How the hell did you get into my room?” 

Izuku couldn’t help laughing, then, re-appearing. “Kacchan! You have to specify if you mean me or Hagakure! I’m an actual ghost, after all.” He floated closer, putting an arm around his shoulders. “It’s my month, so I wanted to play a prank~!”

Because of course Izuku was going to claim the entire month of October.
