This is the only place I feel vaguely anonymous enough to type this out.

I'm homesick.

Not for a house, or apartment or even town.

Not for a place at all.

No, I'm homesick for people.

For people I can never go "home" to again.

Sometimes I find myself wondering if maybe there is some sort of life after death.

Not in the way that most religions see.

Heaven or Hell.

Believer or Sinner.

I know those couldn't be true.

But I wonder if there must be something beyond this earthly life we lead.

Because how can souls as beautiful, as loving, as caring, as kind as the ones I've lost not live on in someway.

The family members I've lost over my lifetime, all believing Christians presumed Heaven would be their destination.

The person that meant the most to me in this life, thought there was nothing at all beyond.

But my heart still holds on to some fragmented piece of hope that maybe just maybe when my time comes too, I can once more find myself at home.

With the people I love. In a place where we'll never part again.

Hey all, today is move out day. I have a few people coming to help, but it’s still extremely overwhelming. I have acquired a minivan and the first true test today will be to see if my mattress will actually fit in the back of it. I measured and it should, but who really knows. I just know my back will thank me forever if it does. The GFM is still open as is the venmo option. Moving forward any funds raised will be used toward my daily living expenses. The van isn’t great on gas but it has a lot of space, so hopefully everything works out like I need it to today.

We are down to 4 days (counting today and Sunday) until I have to be out of this apartment. At this point I am still in desperate need of funds to purchase a vehicle while I will be living out of. Please don’t ask why that’s the decision I came to, it just makes the most sense for me and my health (both mental and physical). Please consider contributing:

About 54.5 hours until eviction now. There are still things listed on fb marketplace and if you wish to donate venmo or chime are the best options at this point as i will likely not recieve anything from gfm until monday and I’m supposed to be purchasing a minivan tomorrow at 10 am and I’m still ~$500 short. Anything helps, honestly, and keep sharing this too.

Disabled Queer Atheist Female Facing Eviction - Emergency

I have less than 5 days until I will no longer have a place to live and I have less than half of what I need in my account to purchase a larger vehicle to live out of, and don’t even have a vehicle at all after last week’s whole thing. Please do not ask me if I’ve looked into this, that, or the other thing, because the answer is yes. I have tried every program. Every thing this county has to offer and the best choice for me, for my mental and physical health is to live out of a larger vehicle that is purely mine.
