for someone who didn’t know any better, they sure were good at it, going from not drinking at all to doing it twice within a couple days. it was late on a weekday so she hadn’t actually plan on seeing anyone but smiled when she saw the blonde. “shh, you don’t actually see me but now that you’re here, we need to catch up. what have you been up to?”

“sorry, not sure i can ever not see you.” tilly joked with victoria, nudging in to their side. “god i feel like i’ve been super lame lately with finals. i am so ready to just let loose like this and hang out with people again.” she let out a exasperated sigh for effect but quickly smiled back at victoria. “how are you? what’ve you been up to?”

upon spotting victoria at the bar, tilly made her way over to slide in next to her - not without subconsciously adjusting her outfit to look better before she walked over. “hey v, i can’t believe you didn’t tell me you were out tonight!” she chirped in greeting. // @victorialambert​

with finals week, she’d managed to avoid a lot of social media so she could focus. now that she was switching back on, her yearly memories were starting to show up on her phone and tilly remembered just what time of year it was. pictures from her honeymoon three years ago were showing up and tilly found that she was beginning to torture herself by scrolling through the pictures one by one. she wasn’t even sure how long she’d been sat out on the deck just scrolling until her phone hit 10% and she looked up to see the sky had gotten dark and things had gotten much quieter from when she had sat down. 

with a sigh, she looked around her and spotted duckie - assuming she was just passing through. “hey duckie, want to come and sit for a little bit?” // @dvckies​

tilly had been sat in bed on her laptop doing some quick replies to emails when cassidy walked back in to their room. “hey cass... one second...” she hummed as she hit send on her last email. “are you free tonight? i’m kinda in the mood for a movie night - get some sweet desserts and some drinks in here and just chill for the night.” tilly asked, turning to look at cassidy to give him her full attention. “if not, do you mind me inviting someone to hang here for a bit tonight?” // @ofsilvas​

                    micah slung his bag over his shoulder and grinned at her. “ not a problem at all. i owe you really for putting up with me during finals week. it’s a brave thing to do. ” he chuckled before heading towards the counter to grab their finished beverages. “ i have no idea what these are but everything they make here is good so… ” as he spoke as he handed hers over. he made sure they had left nothing behind before motioning towards the door. it did sound lovely to study beneath the stars. he felt like it would set a calm mood. “ actually ? i didn’t know that. can’t believe i just unknowingly made the perfect suggestion. ”

“i like to think i’m a brave person sometimes but should i be running away right now?” tilly joked. “well i do like a good mystery so i’ll take it.” she laughed as she took the cup from him. “yeah! i could talk for hours about stars and planets and even more so if i’m under the stars. it’s my favourite thing.” she answered. “come to think of it, i don’t know what you actually study...”

“Thank you! I just… can’t handle too much caffeine. In fact I am not a caffeine person at all”, James laughed a little, accepting the smoothie and offering their own at her in return. “Wow, look at you! I’m so proud”, he playfully nudged her lightly. “Please teach me your ways, I’m the complete opposite right now… which should answer that last question. Kinda losing my mind over here, I open a book but the words slip like water down the drain”, they sighed. “I swear my practical classes will be the only thing that’ll save me”

“i don’t blame you. caffeine is both a blessing and a curse i think. it’s like you have to get the balance right or you’re screwed for a week.” tilly half-joked. although tilly was a night person to begin with, there were certainly times when she’d drank caffeine way too late and screwed up her whole sleep pattern. “thanks! i’ve been trying my best. i’ll bring you along to study with me more often if you need help keeping on track.” she offered them. she’d always take study buddies if it would help.

tilly had been at the party and had got pretty drunk which wasn’t exactly much of a surprise. it had been a struggle to get out of bed with the hangover but she couldn’t spend the day hiding in bed drinking water. instead she went out to the pool with a bottle of water and her shades to help keep out the brightness of the day from her eyes but still hoping the sun around give her some kind of healing. “i was around, mostly at the bar... from what i remember.” tilly laughed. “how wa your night, asher?”

the party had been something else, just enough embarrassment and choas for asher to live with. he’d had a good time showcasing his heelys and planning for the next big heely meet up ! the afternoon was setting in and he had headed to the pool, empty headed but full of energy ( hangover, who ? ). pool side he drops his joggers, “hey, i didn’t see you last night… i think,” he regards the girl he had spoken to a few days earlier.

you're my ride or die. there's no trouble i wouldn't get into for or with you! we've been through a lot together and i know you have my back, which means everything to me. i think most people see us as two very happy, adventurous girls but you're one of the only people who sees me as my whole self; someone who has been broken at times but made stronger by my friendship with you. i love my tilly!
