Dear world. I am Nicholas Ochieng Sawaya, a 19-year-old from Gaza. I used to be a university junior student before this war started.
Back then, before the war started, I used to have a very normal life, where I went to college to study graphic design, went to the gym, and hung out with family and friends. We used to have a life worth living, and everything we needed was there. Life was simple, easy, and happily lived, but now it's full of death, pain, and tons of hardships.
During this genocide, I lost many special things and people in my heart. I lost my beloved grandma without even getting the chance to say goodbye. I witnessed my mom getting injured, with nothing in my hands to do but pray for her. I lost my room, my house is partially damaged, and it can't be used for living.
Life has turned into a cruel nightmare where we lack money, and on the other hand, prices are going up crazily. Most of the time, we are not able to cover our basic needs for living, including water and bread.
I am creating this donation campaign to help myself and my family start over and get a better life outside of Gaza. I have nothing left here; I have nothing to stay for but my soul, which is worth saving. Help me save myself, my family, and the rest of our hope in life.

URGENT HELP NEEDED KINDLY DONATE AND SHARE
My name is HAMDI AHMED, and I'm a disabled queer Latine, at the beginning of the genocide my family had planned to evacuate from Gaza to Egypt, unfortunately, my dad who was the breadwinner was killed and we resorted to staying in the camps in Rafah. Late last month my mother died due to an airstrike that blasted all the windows out of the house they were in when Israel attacked Deir Al-Balah last week. I had no alternative but to stay with a friend who came to my rescue when I had lost hope. I am planning to evacuate Gaza and travel to Egypt where some members of my family evacuated because the friend I was staying with also lost a job and it has become a burden to take care of me due to my disability. I don’t have any source of income and I have resorted to seeking refuge from well-wishers who can at least donate any little amount to enable me to evacuate Gaza. If you can spare even the smallest amount to help me, it would mean the world to me!!

Shout out to all the Black ppl that can no longer participate directly in the fandom they love because of the stresses of racism 👍🏾 you contain multitudes of value and I'm sorry that the color of your skin and the power of your voice makes people not want to acknowledge that.

The war in Sudan has reached its 10th month. The war has been met with a global indifference or there has been no desire to act from many world leaders.
8 million people have fled their homes and millions of Sudanese people have emergency food insecurity, with 5 million people on the brink of famine. even the neighbouring country Chad has had to declare a food insecurity emergency due to the mass amount of Sudanese people that have fled to Chad. (By no fault of their own of course)
Faced with a media blackout which is over a week at this point we need to continue to amplify the voices and plight of the Sudanese people.
#freesudan till it’s backwards 🇸🇩🇸🇩🇸🇩🇸🇩🇸🇩🇸🇩🇸🇩🇸🇩🇸🇩🇸🇩🇸🇩🇸🇩🇸🇩🇸🇩

So I found Aaron Bushnell's reddit and went through his comments/posts. That young man was well read and stable as they can be. Nothing in his writings pointed to someone who was "unstable" or "brainwashed".
He held leftist and anarchist ideals. He belong to the ACAB subreddit. He recognized the evil of the US Military even though he himself was a part of it. He hated TERFS and called out fatphobia. He understood the dangers of white supremecy and the evils of capitalism.
He had a cat. He liked the show fleabag and played elden ring.
Apparently in his will he wants to leave any money in his name to palestinian relief funds. He was trying to find a new owner for his cat.
Rest in peace Aaron Bushnell. The world won't forget & we sure as fuck won't let the media paint you out to be some crazy conspiracy theorist who had no idea what he was doing.

list of mundane things that feel like ancient human rituals
cleaning or wipe your bare feet
breaking off a piece of bread and handing it to someone
putting the weight of a basket on your hip or head
eating nuts or berries while hunched over close to the ground
seeing something startling just out of your line of sight and very quickly stepping or leaping on to a larger object to get a better view
cupping your hands into running water to wash your face
the unanimous protection of a baby or child in a public space where women are present
when an elderly woman laughs and grips your forearm tightly

to any americans who feel "paralyzed" and "dont know what to do" to help with gaza:
reading a fucking book. i beg of you.
in a time of knowledge suppression is it your duty to arm yourself with knowledge.
read about americas occupations in the middle east.
read about 9/11 from outside of america and see how they inflicted senseless harm and violence to countless amounts of people and have been suppressing your rights for the past 2 fucking decades.
read about any of the countless wars from the past 30 years. especially from a civilian's. and the victims and survivors' perspective. listen to the horror stories and do not plug your fucking ears as to what your country is doing.
and read about fucking gaza and palestine and keep up with what is happening no matter how "sad" or "uncountable" you might get.
dont look away from this.
you dont have the right to be comfortable during countless active genocides.
if you're knowledgeable, you're powerful, and our current state doesnt fucking want that.
you have the power to change things if you open your eyes and scream to the world.
wake the fuck up.

“Both sides” is not even funny. It’s always been embarrassing to hear, been now it makes me sick. I have absolutely zero sympathy for Israeli’s “in fear” right now, or any time. They should’ve thought about that before they settled their asses down on stolen land and massacred the indigenous people and expected those “animals” to keep quiet.
