Eddie made everything technicolor, locking into all of his senses in a way that made Steve truly live the moment. Each second was to be admired and clung to, stored away for later perusal.

“Robs, I think I’m going to take off.” Steve spoke as he pulled the dull vest off. Without the uniform on, Steve almost felt human again.

Robin’s answer was distracted when delivered a moment later – she looked like she was floating on happiness and endorphins, barely acknowledging him as he walked past. Steve shook his head with fondness, throwing a half-assed goodbye over his shoulder.

The cool night air caressed his skin, drawing up goosebumps that radiated and took over. His brain immediately connected the feeling to the previous evening where guitar calloused fingers ghosting over the back of his neck brought about the same feeling. Ducking into his car, Steve distractedly settled himself into the driver’s seat. Everything felt a little floaty, the recollection stuck in his mind making everything else disappear.

He still felt the shocking cold of Eddie’s silver rings against sensitive skin. Steve didn’t know what he’d been expecting, but the soft touch was not it. None of the intimacy Steve shared with anyone else felt so all consuming. Steve closed his eyes, leaning forward in his seat until he could rest his forehead against the smooth leather steering wheel. Taking a couple of deep breaths, Steve managed to get himself focused enough to start the car and get out of the parking spot before Robin saw the error of her ways and changed her mind. Now that he was free, Steve didn’t want to waste a second – Wayne Munson was working all night leaving Eddie all alone, and that just wouldn’t do.

Starkerfestivals Summer Bingo

Hello everyone! We are so excited to announce the 2022 Starkerfestivals Summer Bingo Event! 

General Info

The Starkerfestivals 2022 Summer Bingo will begin July 1st 2022, and run until September 30th 2022. Each participant will receive a personalized card with a 5x5 bingo of prompts. 

Sign Up Form 

Here is the link to sign up! (Also linked on our pride event post.) You can sign up at any point before September 30th, but the event will start July 1st. If you complete the first bingo and want another, please feel free to sign up using the same link. If we do not get back to you with your new card within 24 hours, please send an ask or dm one of the mods.

Note: There are options to apply for NFF, FF, or a mixture of both. If you are under 18, you will only create FF cards for you. If you are 18+, feel free to choose which board you want. 

Other Sign Up Info

We will start rolling cards out July 1st. If you signed up by June 30th, you should receive it by the end of the day July 1st. After July 1st, please give us mods 24 hours to get your card to you, but if it has been over that, feel free to dm one of us or send in an ask.

You can also ask us for a particular square to be replaced when you get your card if you don’t like the prompt.

Rules

You can only have one card active at any time. You may ask for another card after you have won your old one. As if a new card, you should receive it within 24 hours.

As a participant, fulfilling prompts can be done at your leisure. We want everyone to have fun so whether you fulfill 1 or do the entire card, it’s up to you! There is no obligation to “win” bingo but for those that want to go for it:

To “win”, you will need to get five in a row via horizontal, vertical, or diagonal means. You can also win by getting the free space and all four corners. Finally, you can get a blackout by completing every square on the board. (Examples given below)

You must tag everything appropriately; meaning, make sure to tag every trigger/content warning correctly. If you’re unsure whether or not something needs to be tagged, feel free to ask us!

To get us to reblog your work, you can @ us here, or use the tags #starkerfestivalsevents and #SFSummerBingo22 . We also have an AO3 subcollection.

There are no minimums or maximums for this event. 

Any sort of creative work is encouraged and accepted! Everything from art to gifs to moodboards to fics.
