I took Weather and Climate this semester only because I needed and extra lab and this was the only one available, now that we’re heading towards the end of the semester, I definitely have an appreciation for this course and it’s material. I was also vaguely interested in weather and how it occurred, but I never thought I could deep dive into it as much as I have now. Both my lecture and lab professors are incredibly kind and smart, which of course makes the class far more enjoyable. If possible, I would love to take the next course during the following semester.

It was such a beautiful day yesterday❤️

Me and my boyfriend watched Call Me By Your Name the other day and it left me in shambles. The amount of yearning we felt to be in France in a secret taboo romance with each other was insane. We both cried at the end and of course I have to read the book now and log all the differences in emotion and detail. It’s been amazing so far. I listen to Mystery of Love every day on the way to work. My life may be mundane and my love may be more “slice of life” rather than passion and fire, but I’m so happy to be where I am. My Elios, we’ll go to France one day

I started my second job today and I’m trying to be as optimistic as I can. Right now I am working 29 hours at one job, around 10 and my other, all while being a full time student. As I only just started, I don’t know how I will be able to handle it, but I draw my motivation from my best friend who has been consistently working full time doing hard labor while in school and making moves for herself constantly. She is an incredible person and I wish I was half the badass she is. I’m doing my best to prioritize school and have work for around school rather than school fitting around work. I’m trying to move out with my boyfriend and I want him to know how dedicated I am to the process by working an extra job to make progress for us. He’s such a hard worker I want him to know I’m willing to work just as hard. We have been looking at apartments but after budgeting, we think we can swing a house. We are both young adults barely in college but I am so proud of the steps we have taken to become independent. I recently bought myself a muscle car that I am paying for completely on my own and I and so so in love with it and proud of myself for being able to get it for a good price. Overall things seem to be good and we are moving forward.

I love falling in love

I have been in love countless times in my life. I fall in love every day. There are so many different things I fall in love with but what I have most enjoyed in my life is falling in love with the people around me. Those who you never seemed to notice before, but now they’re all you see. I adore the rush of seeing the person who caught your eye and caused your heart to soar. The passing glances in class, the slight brush against your arm, the glimmer in their eye. I love the newness of love. The revival in your soul when someone tells you they love you for the first time. I love awkward first kisses and clumsy sex. I love not knowing how far this is going to go. Will we be intertwined forever? Will this be a passing spark? The questions always excited me and kept me hungry for more. I even love when the flame begins to die. When things aren’t the same and it’s time to cut the tie. Knowing I had the opportunity to love you, and love you enough to let you go. Keeping a part of you always tucked in my pocket, a treasure to be remembered. I love seeing you, even from a afar, as a stranger I had the pleasure of knowing so deeply once before. Watching you fall in love with someone else and seeing the flame begin to grow again. I love the slight tinge I feel inside seeing someone I loved feel the intensity of someone else. I love being hurt and picking up my pieces and being ready to love again. God, I love love.

I started some adhd medication recently and because it’s a new medication I have to start at a fairly low dose. I know I’ve had adhd for the majority of my life, but because my brothers was so severe, mine was put in the back burner and not looked into. Now I am 20 and in my second year of college and I am finally taking steps to help my adhd. I have a check in about my meds in a couple days and although I’ve began to notice a difference in my productivity, I think my dosage needs to be higher. Before meds I was able to focus for maybe 20 min on a good day and now I can focus for most of my first class but then not so much for the rest. I’ve also noticed a difference in my productivity at work. Before meds, I was always rushing to get everything done and usually caused my work to be sloppy. Now I feel calmer and more tuned in to what I’m doing and can slow down a bit. Overall, I’m happy I started this medication and I hope a higher dose will be even more useful.

If anyone has any tips for studying with adhd I’d greatly appreciate it!
