a reminder this Pride that there is no shame in being closeted. there is no shame in not wanting to come out or to being stealth. your relationship with your gender or sexuality belongs to you alone

prisoners are those who captivate themselves in something they're detached to, we, poets, obsessed with skies, love, romance, films and books are just slaves to art.

‘Hermione’s crush on Ron’ headcanons....
(See ‘Ron’s crush on Hermione’ headcanons here)
Little eleven-year-old Hermione being startled on Platform 93/4 by this lanky red-headed boy with a long nose and ratty second-hand robes.
Hermione seeing him later on that day when she happened to walk into his compartment whilst looking for Neville’s toad.
What an uncouth boy, she thinks, and so scruffy- why has he got so much dirt on his nose?
Hermione hearing his laughing and joking in the Gryffindor Common-Room over the next several weeks. He’s so loud, and yet so funny, she muses to herself, no wonder why people like him…
When he and Harry rescue her from the troll, Hermione is amazed and very happy that they would want to help her, even though Ron seemed to find her so annoying. Maybe he’s not a bad sort after all….
Hermione laughing at Ron’s jokes during their first year, and beginning to settle into being his friend. He’s a lot more easy-going than Harry is, and he knows so much about the wizarding world.
Hermione pestering Ron with questions about the inner-workings of the wizarding world, the sorts of things that don’t get written down in books. To her amazement, Ron answering her questions patiently and with a little humour (‘Finally, something you can’t lecture me about..’), although she knows he means it in a nice way…
Ron sending her letters over the next summer, and Hermione being really happy that she finally has someone to correspond with.
Hermione trying not to notice her mother giving her father a knowing smile whenever Hermione happens to mention Ron in conversation. Honestly, she thinks, he’s just her best friend…
Bumping into Ron in Diagon Alley towards the end of the summer, Hermione is shocked by how much taller he is, and how different he looks, even though it’s only been a few months.
Ron grinning at Hermione after she makes a (admittedly rubbish) attempt at a joke. Hermione feeling her heart give a weird lurch, and putting it down to excitement after seeing him again. After all, he’s just her best friend…
Hermione being genuinely astonished when Ron defends her from Malfoy, and feeling guilt over him vomiting up slugs. However, as he emerges from the bucket, he gives a weak smile- as if saying, ‘to defend you, this much is nothing’. Hermione feeling her heart lurch again, and beginning to worry that she’s got something wrong with her.
Hermione writing home to her mother about it, and her mother smiling to herself as she reads it.
As she hugs Ron after being de-petrified, Hermione feeling her stomach twisting in a funny way, and being unable to look Ron properly in the eye. It’s probably just nerves, after all, or the lingering effects of being petrified…
Harry happening to mention in a letter that summer about the various times Ron defended her whilst she was petrified. Hermione’s heart thumping painfully against her chest as she digests this information. Of course, Ron’s her best friend- obviously; he’s going to defend her. But then why is her heart reacting so strongly?…
Hermione getting excited whenever Ron sends her a letter over the summer, especially when Ron suggests that they meet up in Diagon Alley. Hermione feeling her stomach churn with anticipation when she sends her letter back to him saying she’d be delighted. He’s just her best friend; after all, he’s just her best friend….
Seeing a smiling Ron waving to her from Florian Fortescue’s Ice Cream Ice Cream Parlour. How is he so freckly? And so tall- he’s grown again?! And that smile, oh dear…
Feeling Ron’s feet (‘sorry, my legs are too long for this table’) against hers, and trying not to blush as her stomach squirms again.
But he’s just her best friend, of course…anything else would be impossible…he’s just her best friend…
Her best friend that she had fallen in love with…
