I just finished reading book 2 of Erha (published eng. ver) and here are some thoughts.

SPOILERS FOR ERHA VOLUME 2

1. after finishing book 2, I still ponder the question of why exactly cwn likes txj? like I know txj has this whole weird love/lust/hate thing going on for cwn but I don't think I ever truly grasped why cwn likes him back? I mean I did have a whole year gap between reading the first and second book, so my memory might be a bit blurry, but so far I'm still not really sure?

2. I'm almost 100% sure ywx is a woman. maaaaybe a romance with xue meng? either him or the womanizer guy I keep forgetting the name of.

3. I'm also 80% sure the cloaked figure by the end of book 2 with bugui, the fake guochen, is shi Mei. like i knew bestie can't be as damsel in distress as mo ran makes him out to be. he's a disciple of cwn. man's Picky. he's gotta have some potential.

4. I love how the story is written? like there's not really a endgame in sight. not clearly. like we know the fake guochen is a threat to the main character's livelihood but that's just about it? there's so much mystery going on I really can't predict what's coming next and I just love it.

I don't really have more to say. if anyone comes across this, no I don't want to know the answer to any of my theories, thanks, I'm just gonna wait for April 23 and buy book 3-5 all at once so I can binge.

like on one hand i’m thinking yes wei ying deserves this confrontation because he did go through that hurt

but on the other hand i’m thinking U GUYS TECHNICALLY WERENT THE ONES WHO COMMITED THOSE ACTS THOOO

it’s the way they feel so much guilt that his hurt was caused by them even tho they technically didn’t do it

i’m not saying it’s wrong i just have a lot of feelings about it and it hurts 😭

wei wuxian is loved. fiercely.

a-yuan might be 3 but he knows what he’s doing and he gets what he wants.

he altered reality, gave up his happy life with a husband and child, saved hundreds of people, because he loved his brother and didn’t want any of that happiness because jiang cheng was miserable. i am: not okay

So yeah. Take pictures of some bros, and then more of one bro in particular, and head home. Very routine. Except for how his brain sort of stumbles when MJ strides over and introduces himself. And in this context, "stumbles” means that Peter stumbles over his own feet, his words, and his train of thought.

MJ is… well. Peter doesn’t know what he is. He is shirtless. And sweaty. Not gross sweaty, he just… has a sheen, sort of. Peter honestly has no idea what he even says before he ducks behind his camera.
