What is a socially acceptable time to be able to grieve freely?
Grieve the loss of a person. The loss of what could have been. The loss of those endless moments you imagined you'd spend with them.
For how long do we have to hide the pain within ourselves?

You tore down my walls that I built carefully over the years, slowly, brick by brick, only to make me realise that I should have built more walls in its place.

I sometimes find comfort in knowing that each passing day is one day closer to the day I get to meet you.

This sadness feels too heavy. The more I try to come up for some air, the more I feel like I'm drowning.

Oh, to be a person who can paint pictures, so vivid, using something so simple as words that can make them see something they have never seen, feel something they have never felt.

Mind is running with thoughts and things to say but as soon as the words try to come out, somehow, they disappear.

The best thing 2020 brought in my life is this professor who is the only one whose lecture I've attended regularly and always on time 😄

Little by little, piece by piece,
I feel like I am losing my sanity.
Little by little, day by day,
Time seems to just slip away.

The last time we saw each other, I forgot to tell you one thing. That if we meet each other again, know that I'll never be the same. That somehow, I'll try to create another version of myself better than who I was before.

I don't understand how anyone can justify rising prices of basic necessities by saying that people should just learn how to earn more. Or that they don't deserve certain things because they earn less.

The *worst* kind of feeling is when a person comes into your life and makes you feel like you're the best-damned thing that happened to them and then just like that, they leave.

I miss being a child.
Oh, how incredible it is to be a child - so young and innocent, full of love, laughter, and joy. Something we lack as adults - filled with all kinds of troubles, unable to unwind or live life freely.

“To read for pleasure is a gift for the mind; Seeing the characters in a book who have the same demons as mine and feel my tears drip as they find redemption. I read books as if it predicts my life; a map to the future – a compass for the personality. To read is to make friends with people who are dead in the body and alive in my thoughts. I read to write as I write to live – I love my books as a gardener loves his flowers and marvel at the beauty of the words I cannot say.”

By all accounts, I should be happy, or content at the very least. Nevertheless, I am not. It feels like someone just ripped out my heart and at its place, there is this void, bleeding, demanding my attention, and no matter how much I try to distract myself, the more it occupies my mind.
