i just remembered that scene in summer belongs to you where monogram & perry are about to arrest doof and vanessa points a hair dryer at them like its a gun and fully just holds them at gunpoint and takes her father away. monogram and perry fully just put their hands up and stay still. no martial arts. no tail slaps. perry has never once trained for what to do if someone pulls a gun on him, he has no recourse for firearms.

I headcanon that perry knew it was an hair dryer but just played along to let them go

That time he was gonna launch Big Ben across the Atlantic bc his watch was too small 2 see and the process of buying a bigger clock was too stressful? Relatable. That time he built an invisibility ray so he wouldn’t have to see the fireside girls looking his window and trying to sell cookies? Relatable. That time he cloned himself so he’d never have to wait in a line again? Super relatable. He was /such/ a relatable character

I'm going to make my own post for this because I feel like people should know without it being attached to anything else but. In the Polish dub, Candace's name is Ferret. That's literally her name. The writers probably just looked at her and thought "which animal is most similar to her" and they reached the most correct conclusion they could possibly have reached.

So my favorite running joke in Phineas and Ferb is that every time Doof, Monogram, and Perry are in the same frame, there is a grand total of 5 brain cells. And the platypus has them all.

I feel like an aspect of Phineas and Ferb that goes completely underappreciated is that not once but TWICE per episode the writers were able to link the story lines of two brothers building crazy and impossible things with their friends and an evil scientist who poorly tries to take over of the world and also battles a platypus AND somehow make it that whatever malfunctioning device the scientist made completely removed the proof anything had happened with them. Like… that’s astounding
