Weekly Update
finished week 2 of c25k!
even tho I haven't been on keto, I've stuck with my intermittent fasting and the weight is still coming off.
I won't be posting food pics for a few days but tonight is Korean BBQ, tomorrow is a cookout, Sunday is Father's day and a grad party and Monday I'm going to an amusement park! busy busy busy
I'm down a total of 29lbs!

lunch today is a big mac salad aka greens, cheddar, pickles and ground beef with thousand island dressing. also had 2 slices of bread and butter, the leftover rutabaga fries with fry sauce and some berries.

today was a breakfast burrito but per usual, I overfilled it and can't roll it up 馃槀
burrito has 3 eggs, some bacon, green goddess dressing and some micro greens. also had some rutabaga fries, 2 slices of homemade bread with butter and pink guava jam, strawberries and iced matcha

look at this absolutely flawless loaf of bread I made today!

and for lunch I had a salad with chicken, bacon, tomatoes and a homemade green goddess dressing. this was a 'use up all the leftovers' kinda meal
and add on some strawberries and a good portion of the bread because warm bread fresh from the oven and slathered in butter is one of life's best experiences tbh

I realized I have a big weekend of non keto coming up so feels a little silly to transition back into keto just to go off again. so planning on cooking at home and keeping carbs low without going full-on keto for the time being.

Weekly Update
I've completed the first week of c25k! I also went on a hike yesterday. so feeling good on that front.
I've been good about intermittent fasting and keto right up until the end of this week lol hoping to get back into my rhythm by Monday.
weight is up slightly for this week but shark week and going off keto will do that to ya!

I have some plans this weekend so I'm staying out of keto until next week. I'm also not doing omad today simply because I have dinner plans tonight but my omad meal is usually lunch so I'm hungry!
so lunch was the leftover lamb shawarma with micro greens, tomatoes and yogurt sauce and some asparagus. and since I'm not in keto atm... chocolate chip cookies!

I did the first c25k workout yesterday and it didn't kill me? I haven't run in years?! or should I say, I haven't jogged so slowly that walkers can still pass me in years lmao
I guess all that hiking has kicked up my endurance more than I realized.

took the day off work to go hiking with my sister today! it was absolutely gorgeous but sooooo humid and muggy omg

afterwards we stopped for lunch and I enjoyed so much non keto food lol
I forgot to take pictures because I was too excited for food but we had fish tacos, pulled pork nachos and I had a ham and cheese panini (with brie, green apples and onion jam!)

my afternoon tea seems to have migrated to midmorning tea 馃槀

and for my meal I had the last of the egg loaf today with bacon and strawberries! since this felt too light last time, I added a keto chow shake (chocolate mint flavor)
I finished all but a bit of the egg loaf. it tastes good but I'm not a fan or the texture :(

I thought I was extra hungry because it's shark week but turns out I was just wanting food because I still couldn't finish it all!
but today was a steak quesadilla with sour cream, roasted asparagus, a salad of lettuce, spinach and micro greens with honey mustard and some strawberries.

I went off keto yesterday but stuck to omad and getting right back in the saddle today!
I started with some tea in another fav mug 馃槀

I didn't feel like I ate enough yesterday so I tried to be more intentional today. I went hiking this morning and had some errands to run afterwards so I ended up fasting longer than usual (25 hours!) I felt okay tho and only a little hungry right at noon since that's my usual eating time.
but I made a steak quesadilla with the leftover steak tips with sour cream, leftover creamed spinach and some kale chips. pro tip! since I made bacon yesterday, I just put the dirty pan in the fridge and used it to make the kale chips today. less dishes and bacon flavored kale! win win!
I also picked up some fresh seafood today, a rarity in the midwest, so I cooked up a few shrimpies before they all got packed away in the freezer.

I also want to start incorporating collagen into my diet regularly so put a scoop of collagen powder in some mio water (watermelon lemonade flavor) it mixed in just fine.

Weekly Update
my pet rabbit of 8 years passed away this week so things were... hard. I didn't comfort eat however which I guess is a success? I've been stress cleaning instead.
I've been doing omad for the past week or so and I'm finding I really like it. it feels very natural to me and I don't feel hungry at all.
I'm down 25lbs total and 0.6lbs away from a new number!

I had a bad day today and food hasn't been a priority. but still doing omad and today I made egg loaf with berries and 6 strips of thick cut bacon. I also had coffee with cream and a quest snickers.
