Fall, As a self portrait I feel as if I connected with this piece of work. While the visuals aren’t  the most striking of my galley I still think that I personally feel as if I have been drifting through an empty space over the past couple of years.

Curse of the Blood Moon, I like to think about the concept of Vampires, for the most part people tend to have this implication of being turned into one. However, within the development of my comic, thinking of how naturally born vampires would exist in a fantasy world. To be honest I have spent hours in the world building of this world, and very little actually writing it.

The Wendigo, while this is interpretation is not from the actual mythological creature, it is more refracting the implications of the myth. Greed, Famine, Desperation, and the decollate cold of the north.

My Boring Life Part 2

One of my favorite games tends to glitch up quite often and when they do happen it is kind of fun to just watch and see how bad this can end up

My first and only rave that I attended, it was an interesting experience.

My Kitten loves this string and will tend to get herself tied up in this manner on an almost daily manner.

When I get board I tend to act in random manners and this is no excuse.

My Boring Life Part 1

As I reflect on how my life had been this Quarantine I have found that recently I have been fairly board. However during this reflection I have found that the small things that have happened within my life has been quite a unique one (For me at least). I have thought about what I have done in my past that brings me joy and comfort. While the GIFs below show a screenshot of what I tend to do on a daily basis (besides a cupule). It puts me in a content mood about my life, and I am happy with who I am.

Reading Response 2

Personally I am a huge fan of GIFs they are funny, satisfying, wholesome, and so much more. Surprisingly to me I personally see GIFs in a Meme like format within internet culture and I never truly on the artsy side of things. However when I do see something that has truly caught my eye through a GIF I will do my best to save what I find. 

While on the reading assignment I have found that, my perception on GIFs is only the surface level, and I truly see now that while GIFs are fun to watch and spend a couple of seconds to go through the whole thing I find that there is a lot more to the picture in that, I now see it as a technological advantage that no matter what you can create a moving image that can be recorded  or captured from a small window of time and as long as the internet is up will be there for an eternity.

Mother Nature Shows no Mercy

Mother Nature has not held back this year. With so many tragic events going on its hard to not forget the smoke that soaks into my clothes. Burning, itchy eyes, a stuffed up nose, a cough here and there, and a confused mind on whether the symptoms are from allergies, the sad notion of Covid, or from the burning ranging forests. I have seen how deadly Mother Nature could be on the news, and from social media but I never wanted to live through it. A few days before completing this project I went outside to see the forbidden snow that started to drift down onto my car and I looked up into the sky to see the sun look like a bright red target warning us that it is not over.

Plagues of our Past

While I know that we are still living in the full force of the nightmare that is called COVID-19, I have found that it is beast to learn from our past a see what we can do to make sure that this situation doesn’t cause more suffering.

The Reason why I had made these pieces for the project that I was working on was due the simple fact that I am fascinated by history. However, there is much more to go over than being a simple history buff, I find that without learning from our past we are bound to repeat the tragedies that so many have lived through.

Ai WeiWei: Never Sorry

What is the meaning of transparency and freedom. What does it mean when you are telling a truth vs. believing a lie. In the documentary Ai WeiWei: Never Sorry These points are put into light. I found that watching this has made me realize that the world needs to change for everyone to live a better life. While in the Documentary Ai WeiWei was standing up to the oppressive government of China to point out things that he had found unjust for the people. An example of this is when the earthquake of 2008 hit China and had devastated hundreds of thousands of lives, the government of China had barely mentioned the true cost of the devastation. That is where people like Ai WeiWei can take a stand and lend a hand to those in need and make the world think about what happened instead of trying to sweep it under the rug.
