I’m back! And trying to figure out how the new app works… I am nearly done with business school and have done many travels throughout my time at NYU. I will be posting some new photos here over the coming days.

There are times when you experience something so sublime, you think it can’t be real.
I’ve taken 6 months off before business school and I’ve started an Instagram that chronicles my travels: please follow @journeyswithjoz if you’d like to see more photos.
More photos from my 6 months of traveling to come…

My favorite shot of Lady Liberty that I took while on a Circle Line Landmarks tour yesterday. A little chilly on those waters but totally worth it for the incredible pictures!

I quit my job in late January, with my last day being the end of March, and have been a tourist in my own city for the last month. It’s been a positive experience to see the place I grew up through a tourist’s eyes. The definition of “tourist spots” has changed a bit since I was a kid and after being chained to a desk for 8-14 hours a day for 7 years (with no lunch breaks because you just don’t do that on Wall Street) I’ve decided to rediscover it again.
That being said, stay tuned for some additional photos of the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, the Statue of Liberty and New York City’s unparalleled skyline. I never meant for this blog to go anywhere (and still don’t), but enjoy the catharsis of taking and posting photos that (I hope) many people enjoy looking at; a special thanks to those who stuck around since the beginning.
For this new chapter in my life, I can’t wait to start sharing photos on this blog again now that I have all this newfound time on my hands before business school. I feel so lucky and blessed to have these opportunities available to me before I get to experience another luxury: learning!
